Abstract

This study aims to build a library system application that can be used in the library of the Faculty of Engineering UNTAG Semarang based on an RFID card. From the background of the problem, namely, the process of borrowing and returning books is quite long, because to search for borrowed books the librarian must go to the bookshelf and look for the title of the book to be borrowed. The difficulty in making reports, because it is done after the library activities are finished, does not automatically coincide with the process of borrowing and returning services. Starting from the problems above, and paying attention to the number of daily visitors in the library that must be served, the authors propose to create a library service application using an RFID tag that can help the process of searching for member data and library books quickly.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat Tentang Sosialisasi dan Implementasi Aplikasi Presensi Online Untuk Pegawai Non-Asn Kelurahan Kecamatan Tembalang yang disusun oleh Tim Pemateri Dosen Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer – Semarang tahun 2021. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyaraka ini yaitu melakukan “Pendampingan Penggunaan Dan Pembuatan Laporan Presensi Online Untuk Pegawai Non-Asn Kelurahan Kecamatan Tembalang Bagi Operator Presensi Online Kelurahan Di Lingkungan Kecamatan Tembalang”. Hasil dan manfaat yang akan diperoleh bagi masyarakat adalah terciptanya penyelenggaraan pemerintahan yang baik.

Abstract

The mouth is the entrance to the digestive system and contains accessory organs that are in the early stages of digestion, while teeth are made of a very hard material, namely dentin. (Indah Irma & Ayu Intan, 2013. Many people complain of pain in the teeth and mouth due to lack of hygiene in maintaining the health of this organ. So when people are attacked by dental and oral diseases, people try to do their own treatment, for example buying toothache medicine in the shop. According to Turban (in Vincent, 2011) an expert system is a system that uses human knowledge where this knowledge is entered into a computer and then used to solve problems that usually require human expertise or expertise. The method used is the forward chaining method, namely forward chaining starting from a set of facts (there are) by looking for rules that match the assumptions/hypotheses that exist towards conclusions (Siswanto 2010).

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the importance of the metaverse in its contribution to increasing GDP. Metaverse business growth in the last 10 years compared to GDP has contributed 2.8% globally. This is what is interesting to study regarding the opportunities and challenges faced in the application of the metaverse. This research was conducted by using a literature review review to obtain a theoretical basis that could support solving a problem that is being or will be studied. Opportunities and challenges of the metaverse in the literature review can be concluded that previous researchers have used a good research methodology using a good theoretical basis and research steps. Most studies show that the metaverse is still in demand as a topic of interest by well-known research and is still a trending theme in the research world. The application of the metaverse platform covers multi-disciplinary fields, including education, health, business/marketing, games, information systems, concerts, fashion events, advertising, virtual real estate ownership etc. This research suggestion needs a detailed discussion of the problems and challenges faced in the Metaverse application in the coming period, in the next 10 years it is predicted that the metaverse will still be a hot topic of conversation globally, the need for metaverse development in various fields, and the need for copyright, brand rights and trade rights in relation to the metaverse-based application platform.

Abstract

Sub-districts according to the composition, position, duties are regulated by government decree. As a regional body, the Camat is given power. In addition, districts also carry out public administration tasks. North Semarang Village, having its address at Jl Taman Brotojoyo No. 02 Semarang, functions related to the management of outgoing letters and receipt of incoming letters are carried out by recording them in a ledger and securing each incoming and outgoing letter by the head of the personnel department and general sub-section and stored in the existing cupboard. This again brings problems when searching for old data, because it may not know where it is stored, it may be corrupted or it may be lost from memory. This method is ineffective and has many drawbacks. Storing incoming and outgoing mail in the mailbox, for example, can easily spoil mail as more and more letters accumulate each day. Not to mention the nature of the room that is wet and insects accelerate paper damage. On the other hand, documenting incoming and outgoing letters through an agenda book also lengthens the registration process. Under these conditions, it is necessary to develop a mobile web-based filing management information system.

Abstract

Permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra pengabdian remaja masjid antara lain : Masih minimnya pengetahuan remaja masjid berkaitan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin cepat, Terjadi peralihan tren dalam mendapatkan informasi dari konvensional (offline) seperti media cetak ke media digital (online) kemudian kemampuan para remaja masjid dalam tehnik design grafis dan fenomena penggunaan internet saat ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi. Pelaksnaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di remaja masjid di Kecamatan Gajah Mungkur tepatnya di masjid MTA Gajahmungkur yang meliputi pelatihan yang diberikan secara langsung dan pendampingan langsung step by step. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam waktu 2 hari dan di hadiri sebanyak 13 peserta dari remaja masjid MTA Gajahmungkur dan dipandu oleh 7 orang pemateri / dosen dari Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan beberapa metode pembelajaran. antara lain: metode ceramah, metode praktik dan metode tanya jawab. Setelah diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa ceramah dan pelatihan di bidang pelatihan bagi para peserta (remaja masjid) di MTA Kecamatan Gajahmungkur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Ceramah dan pelatihan pembuatan desain, dasar-dasar pengenalan Input/Output dan peripheral, dasar-dasar pembuatan website bagi remaja masjid, pembagian bandwidth di lingkungan masjid, serta Transfer pengetahuan terkait dengan membuat poster, logo, featured image blog, infografik, newsletter, konten media sosial, desain kemasan produk, invoice, thumbnail youtube, banner merupakan salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM remaja masjid. Antusias para peserta sangat besar dalam mengikuti ceramah dan pelatihan, sehingga ilmu yang disampaikan diarapkan dapat diterima dan diaplikasikan dengan baik. Menambah softskills remaja masjid MTA Kecamatan Gajahmngkur dalam bidang troubleshooting sistem komputer, serta menambah pengetahuan dan ketrampilan remaja masjid dalam bidang teknologi informasi menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Kesenian khususnya tari dan karawitan dipraktekkan di kota Semarang. Pendataan siswa Sanggar Greget masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu dicatat di atas kertas, sehingga ada banyak data yang hilang. Dari permasalahan yang ada maka perlu dibangun sistem informasi manajemen pada Sanggar tari Greget berbasis web dengan menggunakan PHP, CSS, CI Framework, database MySQL dan Free Template AdminLTE. Metode yang digunakan dalam karya ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi literatur. Metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) merupakan metode pengembangan sistem yang dapat digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ini dikembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web yang diharapkan dapat mempermudah dalam pengolahan data siswa di Greget Studio. Abstract

Credit Card (CC) scam In financial markets is a growing nuisance. CC scams increasing rapidly and causing large amounts of financial losses for organizations, governments, and public institutions, especially now that all payment methods for e-commerce shopping can be done much more easily through digital payment methods. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to detect scam CC transactions from a given dataset by performing a predictive investigation on the CC transaction dataset using machine learning techniques. The method used is a predictive model approach, namely logistic regression models (LR-M), random forests (RF), and XGBoost combined along particular resampling techniques that have been practiced to anticipate scams and the authenticity of CC transactions. Model performance was calculated grounded Re-call Curve (RC), precision, f1-score, PR, and ROC. The experimental results show that the random forest in combination with the hybrid resampling approach of SMOTE and removal of Tomek Links works better than other models. The random forest model and XGBoost accomplished are preferred over the LR-M as long as their global f1 score is without re-sampling. This demonstrates the strength of one technique that can provide greater achievement alike in the existence of class inequality dilemmas. Each approach, at the same time when used with Ran-Under, will give a great memory score but fails cursedly in the language of accuracy. Compared to the coordinate model sine re-sampling, the accuracy and RS are not repaired in cases where Tomek linker displacement was used. RF and xgboost perform quite well in terms of f1-S when Ran-Over is used. SMOTE increases the random forest draw score and xgboost but the precision score (PS) decreases slightly. Completely, during a hybrid solution of Tomek delinker and SMOTE was practiced with random forest, it gave equitable attention and RS in the PR-AUC. XGboost failed to increase the PS even though the same re-sampling technique was used. For future research, a fee-delicate study method can be applied as long as fee misclassifications. So for future research, it is very necessary to consider this behavior change and it is also very important to develop predictive models. In addition to this, much larger data is needed so that detailed studies on handling non-stationary properties in CC scam detection can be carried out better.

Abstract

Sistem pengenalan wajah merupakan pengembangan metode dasar sistem autentifikasi dengan menggunakan karakteristik alami wajah manusia sebagai dasarnya. Proses pengenalan citra wajah melalui tahap pelatihan dan tahap pengujian. Tahap pengujian dilakukan langsung dan tidak langsung. Cara tidak langsung data bersumber dari sekumpulan citra wajah yang sudah dipilih, secara langsung citra wajah bersumber dari kamera. Pengenalan menggabungkan metode GLCM dan PNN dengan pendekatan detaksi tepi. Tahap prapengolahan dengan mengubah RGB ke dalam aras keabuan dan dengan metode deteksi tepi canny untuk proses menentukan titik tepi sebagai acuan pemotongan daerah yang tidak digunakan. GLCM menggunakan metode statistik dan analisis tekstur orde kedua. Sedangkan pada PNN digunakan untuk membandingkan hasil keluaran yang berupa data matrik hasil dari GLCM. Pada penelitian ini digunakan citra wajah sebagai basisdata dengan sampel sebanyak 20 orang dan 7 posisi wajah, 3 jarak pengambilan gambar citra wajah, serta 5 kategori pencahayaan. Proses pengujian menghasilkan tingkat pengenalan secara langsung sebesar 66.43 %, sedangkan pengujian secara tidak langsung sebesar 82.86 %. Tingkat kesalahan FAR/FRR secara tidak langsung sebesar sebesar 45 % dengan nilai ambang pada 0.107 %, dan secara langsung sebesar 50 % untuk nilai FAR/FRR pada nilai ambang di angka 0.104 %.

Abstract

Purpose: Spatial data is used to display digital maps. Geographic information systems' access performance depends on spatial data formats. This study compared JSON and MySQL database data display speeds. Open-source RDBMSs work with various programming languages. JSON displays data in text format. The purpose of this study is to select spatial data for polygon and multipolygon Geographic Information Systems (GIS).Design of study: access speed to the GIS determined the method. This study evaluated how effectively JSON and MySQL displayed digital maps in GIS using two types of geographical data. JSON was in the server directory, and MySQL was on the database server. To measure performance, these two spatial data sets were compared using the same server parameters. Testers employed various tools, operating systems, devices, and browsers.Result: JSON data is stored on a live server and is easier to access while having more data. This test compares file size and speed on three online devices. This test generates JSON as the fastest geographic data, with an average access time of 3.9 seconds and 8.5 MB loaded. MySQL, which averages 9.7 seconds, loads 6.3 MB of files. Despite its larger file size, JSON is faster for spatial data, according to tests.Originality: Its comparison of JSON and MySQL databases based on its application for geographical data display in GIS is unique. This test offers geographic data in JSON faster than MYSQL. JSON can be used to choose location data that GIS can readily access.
