Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Promotional Mix on decision making of buying OPPO cellular phones in the city of Medan. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach because it uses a survey (Questionnaire), while the nature of the research is explanatory research. This research was conducted by researching and collecting data as the author's analysis material, which was carried out in 15 sub-districts carried out from April 2022 to June 2022 using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, so that a sample of 205 respondents was obtained. The results of the research analysis show that Advertising, Direct Selling, Interactive Selling, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion and Public Relations have a positive and significant influence on Decision Making of using OPPO cellular phones. The results showed that Advertising, Direct Selling, Interactive, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, and Public Relations simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on Decision Making of buying OPPO Mobile Phones in Medan City.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pemasaran digital pada BUMDes Sei Limbat yang menghadapi permasalahan terbatasnya kemampuan promosi produk secara daring, rendahnya pengetahuan branding, dan belum tersedianya media promosi yang terintegrasi seperti media sosial, katalog digital, dan website. Permasalahan tersebut berdampak langsung pada rendahnya jangkauan pasar dan daya saing produk-produk BUMDes di era digital. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan BUMDes dalam mengelola pemasaran digital secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan partisipatif, pendampingan teknis, produksi konten promosi digital, pembuatan alat bantu (katalog & website), serta monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap kemampuan mitra dalam implementasi hasil kegiatan. Pelatihan akan dilakukan dengan pendekatan praktik langsung, yang difokuskan pada penguasaan keterampilan digital yang aplikatif dan sesuai konteks lokal. Dalam jangka panjang, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat posisi BUMDes dalam ekosistem ekonomi digital desa serta mendukung kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Article History: Received: (diisi oleh editor) Revised: (diisi oleh editor) Accepted: (diisi oleh editor) Abstract: Penelitian ini membahas strategi penataan ulang tata letak persediaan di gudang PT. Permata Arga Wisesa melalui penerapan metode perhitungan volume (kubikasi) dan penumpukan bertingkat (stapel). Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan meliputi tumpukan barang yang kurang terorganisir, penggunaan ruang yang belum maksimal, serta proses pencarian stok yang memakan waktu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen untuk memotret kondisi gudang sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan tata letak. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa metode kubikasi membantu memperoleh kapasitas ruang yang lebih presisi sehingga tidak ada area yang terbuang. Sementara itu, metode stapel mampu menciptakan tumpukan yang lebih kokoh dan aman, sehingga risiko kerusakan barang dapat ditekan. Sinergi kedua metode ini menghasilkan zonasi penyimpanan yang lebih teratur (berdasarkan kecepatan pergerakan barang), lorong penyimpanan yang seragam, serta sistem identifikasi lokasi yang lebih jelas. Penerapan kedua metode tersebut terbukti meningkatkan kinerja operasional gudang, mempercepat alur bongkar muat, serta menambah kapasitas simpan tanpa perluasan bangunan. Penelitian ini menyarankan penerapan berkesinambungan, peningkatan keterampilan karyawan melalui pelatihan, serta penyediaan media visual sebagai panduan tata letak agar perbaikan yang dicapai dapat terus dipertahankan.

Abstract

Internal auditors constitute an indispensable pillar in safeguarding accountability and institutional governance; nevertheless, their efficacy may be markedly contingent upon determinants such as role stress, professionalism, and independence. The present inquiry endeavors to ascertain and scrutinize the extent to which Role Stress impinges upon internal auditors’ performance, how Professionalism modulates their effectiveness, and the degree to which Independence fortifies their contributions within the Inspectorate of North Sumatra Province. Employing a quantitative methodological design, the investigation engaged a cohort of 75 internal auditors, with data procured through structured questionnaires and subsequently subjected to analytical treatment via SmartPLS. The empirical outcomes elucidate that Role Stress exerts a discernible impact on internal auditor performance, evidenced by a coefficient of 0.293, a t-statistic of 2.284, and a significance threshold of 0.05 (p < 0.05), with an f-square value of 0.234. Professionalism likewise manifests an influence, with a coefficient of 0.147, a t-statistic of 1.965, and significance at the 0.05 level (p < 0.05), albeit with only a minor explanatory magnitude as indicated by its f-square value of 0.072. Independence, conversely, emerges as the most potent determinant, with a path coefficient of 0.560, the preeminent t-statistic of 4.037, significance at 0.05 (p < 0.05), and a robust f-square index of 0.516.

Abstract

The heavy rainfall caused a flood in Deli Serdang Regency on November, 30th 2025. For responding to this disaster, the Higher Education, Science & Technology Ministry funded community services activities, especially logistics distribution for the society. Politeknik Negeri Medan is one of the higher education institutions in Sumatera Utara, acting as the mediator for the logistic distribution process. This community service aims to help the society that impacted by the flood and landslide in Desa Sekip, Kecamatan Lubuk Pakam, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital merupakan salah satu strategi yang cukup diminati oleh bisnis saat ini, termasuk usaha kecil dan menengah terutama yang bergerak dalam bisnis makanan dan minuman. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan oleh dosen-dosen Politeknik Negeri Medan dan berkolaborasi dengan dosen-dosen dari Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia bertujuan untuk mengimpelementasikan pemasaran digital pada Kafe Tenank yang ada di Kota Medan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimulai dengan pemaparan materi tentang digital marketing oleh pemateri sekaligus penulis buku dilanjutkan dengan implementasi langsung mengenai pemasaran digital. Metode pemasaran digital yang diimplementasikan melibatkan influencer kuliner yaitu Medan.Kulineran. Data yang digunakan untuk pemasaran digital adalah lokasi, menu, harga dan testimoni dari para pelanggan yang telah menikmati jasa dan produk di Kafe Tenank. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah konten digital yang dipublikasikan ke media sosial influencer Medan. Kulineran dan berkolaborasi dengan media sosial Kafe Tenank dan juga dibagikan oleh Politeknik Negeri Medan. Implementasi pemasaran digital diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan pelanggan ke Kafe Tenank dan menjadi branding untuk pelayanan di Kafe Tenank. Pada akhirnya, peningkatkan jumlah pengunjung dengan semakin dikenalnya Kafe Tenank, dapat berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatannya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Sales Call, Effective Call, and SKU Sold on increasing sales performance of salesmen at UD. Prima Jaya Mandiri, a distributor of PT. Nestlé Indonesia in Gorontalo Province. The rapid development of business competition requires companies to implement effective marketing communication strategies and efficient inventory management to maintain sales growth. This research employed a quantitative research method with a descriptive statistical approach. The population consisted of consumers of UD. Prima Jaya Mandiri in Gorontalo Province, with a sample of 30 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, partial (t-test), and simultaneous (F-test) hypothesis testing. The results indicate that Sales Call, Effective Call, and SKU Sold each have a positive and significant effect on sales improvement partially. Simultaneously, these three variables also show a positive and significant influence on increasing sales performance. The findings suggest that effective personal selling communication, successful transaction outcomes, and accurate inventory control through SKU management play an important role in enhancing sales performance. Therefore, companies are encouraged to strengthen sales call strategies, improve communication effectiveness, and optimize inventory management to achieve sustainable sales growth.

Abstract

The Community Service Program is carried out in collaboration with PDAM Mual Nauli, Tapanuli Tengah, as proposed under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the State Polytechnic of Medan and the Government of Sibolga City. It also serves as the realization of the Community Service Program that supports the accreditation excellence for the Master of Applied Accounting Information Systems (MTSIA) program. The purpose of this activity is to assist PDAM Mual Nauli in addressing specific challenges, particularly related to human resources and public services as a water supply company in the region. The specific objectives of this Community Service Program are to provide solutions in the areas of management, human resource management, and the improvement of production quality in public service delivery to the water users of PDAM Mual Nauli. The method in implementing this community service activity involves stages such as surveys, interviews, observations, and confirmation with PDAM Mual Nauli as the partner. The interviews are conducted by the Community Service Team at the PDAM Mual Nauli office. After obtaining the data, analysis is carried out and explained in a descriptive form with explanations supported by graphic information, tables, and other relevant elements. The three activities implemented at PDAM Mual Nauli include public speaking training, internal control training, and financial reporting training. These training activities aim to enhance the quality of human resources, especially in public services. Keywords: Drinking Water, Public Services, Human Resources Quality
