Abstract

This article discusses issues related to measles-rubella vaccination from the perspective of epidemiology, immunology, and ethical challenges faced. Measles and rubella are infectious diseases that have the potential to cause extraordinary events (KLB) throughout the world, including Indonesia. Although measles-rubella vaccination has been proven effective in reducing the incidence of the disease, challenges such as low vaccination coverage due to the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccine hesitancy, and ethical issues related to parental consent and equal access to vaccines are significant obstacles. Research shows that to achieve effective community immunity, a vaccination coverage of at least 95% is required. This article also describes the immunological processes involved in the response to measles and rubella infection and the importance of public health efforts in increasing awareness and access to vaccines. With a comprehensive and inclusive approach, it is hoped that existing challenges can be overcome and community participation in vaccination programs can be increased. Collaboration between the government, health institutions, and the community is essential to create a healthier and safer environment, ultimately supporting the goal of eliminating measles and rubella in the future.

Abstract

Environmental ethics provides a moral framework for addressing sustainability challenges, emphasizing the ethical responsibility of humanity toward ecological preservation. This study explores Islamic environmental ethics, focusing on principles such as khalifah (stewardship), amanah (trust), and adl (justice), and their applications in sustainable practices, education, and policymaking. Using a systematic literature review, 72 sources were analyzed to identify key themes, including the theoretical foundations of Islamic environmental ethics, practical applications in daily practices and resource management, and implications for policy development. Findings demonstrate the transformative potential of Islamic teachings in fostering environmental stewardship, with examples such as eco-pesantren initiatives and sustainable agriculture illustrating successful integration into community practices. The study also highlights the significance of incorporating Islamic principles into education to cultivate eco-conscious behaviors and align sustainability efforts with cultural and religious values. By providing a comprehensive framework for integrating Islamic environmental ethics into global sustainability strategies, this research offers a culturally resonant approach to addressing environmental challenges. Future studies are recommended to assess the real-world applications of these principles across diverse contexts and their impact on long-term ecological sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer perceptions in Serang, Banten, towards generative AI-based marketing personalization, focusing on factors of acceptance, concerns, and the influence of local culture. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 18 consumers who actively use digital platforms. The results show that while consumers value the benefits of AI personalization, such as relevant product recommendations and time efficiency, they also voice deep concerns regarding data privacy and system accuracy. Unique findings reveal a strong preference for local brands and the importance of digital literacy in shaping technology acceptance. This study provides practical recommendations for businesses, including increasing data transparency and a hybrid development model that integrates AI with human interaction. Limitations of the study include the limited number of participants and the geographic focus on one region, so further research is recommended to expand the scope with a mixed-method approach and cross-regional comparative studies. Abstract

Introduction: The Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) plays a crucial role in supporting optimal healthcare services in hospitals. SIMRS enables efficient and effective management of information, ranging from patient data to hospital administration. At Madani Regional General Hospital, Palu, the implementation of SIMRS has been carried out; however, operational challenges and user satisfaction issues still need to be evaluated. This study aims to evaluate the utilization of SIMRS at Madani Regional General Hospital, Palu, in 2024, and to analysed the impact of system usage, user satisfaction, information quality, and service quality on the net benefits of SIMRS. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study approach and logistic regression analysis. The population of this study includes all employees at Madani Regional General Hospital, Palu. The sample consists of 172 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula Results: The study shows that system usage (p = 0.007), user satisfaction (p = 0.003), information quality (p = 0.002), and service quality (p = 0.006) are associated with the utilization of SIMRS at Madani Regional General Hospital, Palu. Based on Binary Logistic analysis, the variable with the strongest influence is System Usage (Sig = 0.006) Conclusion: This study concludes that the use of SIMRS at Madani Regional General Hospital, Palu, provides significant benefits in terms of hospital service efficiency and effectiveness. System usage is the most dominant factor influencing the utilization of HMIS, followed by user satisfaction, information quality, and service quality. It is recommended to continuously improve the quality of system usage by providing ongoing training for hospital staff.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of quality of pharmaceutical services and management on the decision to repur purchase outpatient medicines at the Pharmaceutical Installation of Labuang Baji Makassar Hospital in 2019. The research was conducted at Labuang Baji Makassar Hospital which began with a survey first until the research in February 2020. The population in the study was patients (Non BPJS / KIS) re-buyers in the Pharmaceutical Installation of RS Labuang Baji Makassar in February 2020 and the sample in this study amounted to 60 0rang Analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, with double regression testing preceded by conducting validity and reliability tests of each variable question items as well as assumption tests. The results of this study show that: 1) Officer-friendly attitude has a significant positive influence on the decision to re-buy at the pharmacy Labuang Baji Hospital, 2) The completeness of the prescription has a significant positive influence on the decision to re-buy at the pharmacy Labuang Baji Hospital, 3) The price of the drug has an insignificant negative influence on the decision to re-buy at the pharmacy Labuang Baji Hospital , 4) Drug safety information has a significant positive influence on the decision to re-buy at the pharmacy Labuang Baji Hospital, 5) Drug safety information has a dominant effect on the buyback decision. This finding is in accordance with the results of the study at the Outpatient Installation Pharmacy of Labuang Baji Hospital Makassar. Keywords : Quality of Service, Pharmaceutical Management, Drug Buyback Decision

Abstract

Poor management and health services bpjs health participation provided by the hospital to patients turned out to cause a lot of losses both hospitals and for patients. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect bpjs patient satisfaction with health services. The design of this study is cross sectional study. The population in this study was all BPJS Non PBI patients in the Inpatient Room of Labuang Baji Hospital. Sampling technique is accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. Analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was an influence between reliability (p = 0.002), empathy (p = 0.000), responsiveness (p = 0.037), assurance (p = 0.000), with the satisfaction of inpatient BPJS Non PBI in Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar City. While the tangible variable (p = 0.545) had no effect on the satisfaction of BPJS Non PBI patients at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar City. Based on the results of the logistic regression test, it shows that the empathy variable is the most dominant variable. Keywords : Patient Satisfaction, Empathy, Hospitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of quality costs on company profitability. The method used is a descriptive method with a case study approach. Descriptive method is a research method carried out by collecting, presenting, and analysing data based on existing facts in a company or a method that aims to describe the nature of something that is going on at the time the research is carried out that is going on at the time the research is carried out and examine the causes of a particular symptom. Data was obtained from a questionnaire using 30 respondents from each department. The data was analysed using simple regression analysis. Validity testing is done to determine whether the data measuring instrument is valid. Meanwhile, the reliability test is carried out to determine whether the measuring instrument used is relatively consistent and will produce the same data when used twice or more. The conclusion drawn by the author in this study based on simple regression analysis is that there is a significant difference between quality costs and profitability levels.

Abstract

Penderita Diabetes Melitus umumnya memiliki kualitas hidup yang buruk dibandingkan dengan orang yang tanpa penyakit sehingga membutuhkan perawatan diabetes yang tepat melalui intervensi perilaku berupa dukungan pendidikan dan konseling untuk mengaktifkan penderita diabetes untuk mengelola penyakitnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling dalam home care terhadap kualitas hidup penderita Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Talise dan wilayah kerja Puskesmas Birobuli Kota Palu. Desain penelitian adalah Eksperimen Semu dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Beda Dua Mean yaitu Uji Wilcoxon dan Uji Beda Dua Mean Independen yaitu Uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh konseling home care terhadap kualitas hidup penderita DM baik pada Domain 1 (Kesehatan Fisik), Domain 2 (Kondisi Psikologis), Domain 3 (Hubungan Sosial), Domain 4 (Lingkungan) dimana skor rata- rata (mean) sebelum intervensi adalah 60,55 dengan standar deviasi 2,605 meningkat menjadi 71,35 dengan standar deviasi 4,107 setelah intervensi. Secara statistik terjadi perbedaan kualitas hidup sebelum dan setelah diberikan konseling dengan nilai p= 0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti bahwa konseling home care efektif diberikan pada penderita DM untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita DM.
