Abstract

Meatballs are a processed meat product that has high nutrition. The maximum shelf life for meatballs made from meat is 1 day (12 hours). Storing meat foods at inappropriate temperatures, such as room temperature, greatly facilitates the growth of microbes. The marketplace for meatballs in traditional markets in the city of Padang is still sold on the streets at open-air temperatures without using sufficient refrigeration. The possibility of contamination with microorganisms is very large. This research aims to determine the suitability and quality of meatballs sold at Pasar Raya Padang City by examining the Total Plate Count (TPC) and identifying the types of bacteria that contaminate meatballs sold at Pasar Raya Padang City. The research results showed that the amount of microbial contamination in meatballs varied, namely 1.9x10 6, 7.5x10 6, 5.6x10 6, 1.8x10 6, 8.6x10 6, and 9.2x10 6. The results of this study showed that the meatball samples had microbial contamination greater than 10 5 CFU/gr or did not meet SNI standards. Based on macroscopic and microscopic morphological identification as well as biochemical reactions, all isolates were classified as bacteria from the genus Bacillus

Abstract

The selection of enzymes derived from microbes has several advantages compared to those derived from animals and plants. One of the advantages is that the growth of enzymes will occur more quickly in bacteria because the cells rapidly undergo division and cell production will be easier to increase if needed in large quantities and the time needed for enzyme production will be shorter. Thermophilic microorganisms are known as bacteria that are tolerant of high temperatures, but on the other hand these bacteria are also able to survive at these temperatures. Where the purpose of research is to explain exploration of thermophilic bacteria. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guideline. Bacteria have important economic value in human life. Knowledge in this branch of science is useful in medicine, hygiene, food science and nutrition, agriculture, and industry. Based on the results of macroscopic, microscopic and biochemical characterization, it was found that many bacteria with various types recording to their habitat or place of development, exploraton of thermophilic bacteria was carried out so that they could be useful for the industrial world.

Abstract

The rapid era of technological development has had a major impact on the world of education. At least the challenges faced by the education sector are related to the use of Chat GPT artificial intelligence in the science learning process. Through science education, students can engage in the impact of science in everyday life and the role of students in society. The provision of quality science education will have an impact on the development achievements of a country. for this reason, research was carried out. The purpose of the research is to explain ChatGPT for the Future of Science Learning. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines We must know and practice changes in education and learning patterns at all levels of education by describing the characteristics of learning that are currently needed. The results of this research show that in science learning there are several main domains on which the learning objectives using the science approach pattern are based on the advantages of this approach. GPT chat can be used to get answers to various problems and questions, providing precise and fast responses. GPT chat plays an important role in shaping the science learning system of the future. Many benefits have been found from GPT chat in science learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by whether the water fraction of beets can reduce total cholesterol levels in male Swiss Webster white mice. The aims of this study were: to determine the effect of giving beetroot water fraction in reducing total cholesterol levels of male Swiss Webster white mice; Knowing the most optimum dose of tuber water fraction variation in reducing total cholesterol levels of male Swiss webster white mice compared to simvastatin. The method used in this study was experimental research using Swiss Webster male white mice as test animals. The beetroots used for the research were beetroots with the criteria of 2,900 grams per tuber weighing 200-250 grams. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The data obtained was processed statistically using SPSS to determine the effect of the water fraction of beets on reducing total cholesterol levels which were analyzed using the ANOVA test. The results obtained in this study were (1) The water fraction of beets had activity in reducing total cholesterol levels in male Swiss webster white mice. (2) Statistical test results of the beetroot water fraction showed that dose III (6.980 mg/20g BW) had the most optimum antilipemic activity compared to dose I (1.742 mg/20g BW) and dose II (3.484 mg/20g BW). Conclusion: The results of statistical tests of the water fraction of beetroot showed that dose III (6,980 mg/20g BW) had the most optimal antilipemic activity compared to dose I (1,742 mg/20g BW) and dose II (3,484 mg/20g BW).
