Abstract

AbstrakPeran ayah di dalam sebuah keluarga merupakan sosok yang paling mendominasi karena memiliki tanggung jawab besar sebagai pemimpin keluarga. Hal tersebut merupakan kondisi sosial yang disebut budaya patriarki dimana kepemimpinan serta otoritas tertinggi dipegang dan didominasi oleh kaum laki-laki. Film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap ini dibangun berdasarkan tropes orang Batak di dalam film yang sering menjadikan peran ayah sebagai penggerak cerita sekaligus sumber konflik di dalam keluarga. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi peran ayah dalam film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma kritis. Penulis memilih enam belas scene untuk diteliti dengan teknik analisis semiotika John Fiske yang terbagi menjadi tiga level yaitu, level realitas, level representasi, dan level ideologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa sosok ayah di representasikan sesuai dengan ciri budaya patriarki privat dan memiliki peran sebagai seorang protector (sebagai seorang pelindung dan pengontrol), decision maker (sebagai seorang pembuat keputusan), monitor and disciplinary (sebagai seorang pengawas dan memberikan pembelajaran), provider (sebagai seorang penyedia fasilitas), dan responsibility (sebagai seorang yang memenuhi kebutuhan) kepada keluarganya. Kata Kunci: film, patriarki, peran Ayah, representasi, semiotika John Fiske  AbstractIn a family, the most dominating role figure is the father because he has a great responsibility as the family leader. This social condition is called patriarchal culture where the highest leadership and authority is held and dominated by men. This Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap film is based on the tropes of the Batak people which often make the father's role as the driving force of the story as well as the source of the conflict within the family. Based on this phenomenon this conducted research is to find out how the representation of the father's role in the Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap film uses qualitative methods with a critical paradigm. The researcher chooses sixteen scenes to be examined by John Fiske's semiotic analysis divided into three levels; the reality, representation, and ideology levels. The study found that the father figure is represented according to the characteristics of private patriarchal culture and has a role as a protector (to protect and control), the decision maker, to monitor, and disciplinary (as a supervisor and provides learning), provider, and as someone who fulfills needs of the family. Keywords: film, patriarchal, representation,  semiotics John Fiske, the role of fathers

Abstract

Archiving certification, especially in electronic archiving, remains a problem in the archiving world. The solution to this problem is the blockchain technology first used in digital currencies. Blockchain is believed to have had a significant impact on archive management. This study aims to consider the application of blockchain technology in archiving, including Features, application examples, opportunities, and challenges related to blockchain technology inconsistencies in archive science. This study uses a qualitative approach using literature data sources from various disciplines related to the basic concepts of archival science as the basis for analysis. The results of this study show that various possibilities can be developed on the blockchain. The contradiction between the implementation issues, especially in Indonesia, and the basic concepts of blockchain technology and archive science. This study concludes that further research is needed to ensure that blockchain technology adheres to archive science's basic concepts and principles, especially concerning reliability.

Abstract

Product photography training for MSMEs in Baros Village, Central Cimahi, aims to improve the visual and digital skills of business owners in marketing their products. This activity was carried out through three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. In the pre-production stage, material preparation, consultation with MSME players, and provision of tools were carried out. The production stage includes theory delivery, hands-on practice, and evaluation of photography skills. Meanwhile, the post-production stage focused on documentation, publication of results, and assessment to ensure the sustainability impact of the training. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in participants' ability to take quality product photos, which supported product branding and promotion through digital platforms. The program also helped reduce MSMEs' dependence on external services, thus optimizing their operational budget. With improved digital literacy, MSME players are able to reach a wider market, strengthen competitiveness, and support local economic inclusion.

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak has changed many people's lifestyles, including healthy consumption patterns. Although manyindustries have been harmed by the pandemic, the herbal industry has actually increased and has bright prospects forthe future. This study aims to describe the application of the promotion mix by PT Bhineka Rahsa Nusantara inmarketing Rahsa Nusantara products in Bandung City. Using descriptive qualitative research methods with aninterpretive paradigm, as well as Kotler and Armstrong's Promotion Mix theory (2008), data was collected throughinterviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that PT Bhineka Rahsa Nusantara has implementedthe five elements of the promotion mix well. In the Advertising indicator, they use online and offline channels, such asads on social media and flyers at certain events. In Sales Promotion, they offer discounts, vouchers, cashback, freebies,and mini size products. For Public Relations, they hold webinars on health issues and collaborate with relevant mediaand communities. For Personal Selling, they participated in several events to sell products directly. Finally, for DirectMarketing, they send email and WhatsApp blasts to notify consumers of promotions. Keywords-herbal drinks, promotion mix, Rahsa Nusantara.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the use of the Pandawara Group Instagram social media (@pandawaragroup) as acommunication medium for the Ajaraksa work program for SMPN 13 Bandung students. There are two views held byPierre Levy, namely the view of social interaction and social integration. This research was conducted using aqualitative approach method where there were subjects as informants, namely four key informants, one supportinginformant, and one expert informant. The data collection method will be in the form of interviews with informants inthe form of subjects, observations, and also followed by documentation in interview activities and also observations.The validity of the data depends on the source triangulation technique. The research results show that the view ofsocial interaction using social media Instagram @pandawaragroup is quite effective but can add information fromuploaded videos. Meanwhile, from a social integration perspective, the use of Instagram social media is quite effective. Keywords-Pandawara Group, Ajaraksa, Instagram, social interaction, social integration.

Abstract

Saat ini stigma mengenai ibu tunggal atau janda masih sangat tabu di Indonesia. Stigma ini juga dapat mempengaruhimental dan konsep diri ibu tunggal beserta anak anaknya. Dalam konteks ini, penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana ibutunggal dapat berkomunikasi dengan anak anaknya sehingga stigma negatif dapat terpecahkan. Analisis penelitian inidifokuskan pada bagaimana komunikasi ibu dan anak sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa keduanya memilikikomunikasi yang baik untuk membentuk konsep diri. Dalam konteks ini, peneliti menggunakan teori InteraksiSimbolik yang dikemukakan oleh Mead. Penelitian difokuskan pada tiga konsep interaksi simbolik Mead itu sendiriyaitu mind (pikiran), self (diri), dan society (masyarakat). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu tunggalberpenghasilan rendah dan anaknya yang memiliki kepercayaan diri tinggi dibuktikan melalui prestasi yang diraih.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus dengan objek komunikasi dan interaksi simbolik yangterjadi dalam kehidupan sehari hari keluarga ibu tunggal berpenghasilan rendah di Kabupaten Sragen. Hasilpenelitian mengungkapkan bahwa komunikasi dan interaksi simbolik yang terjalin antara ibu dan anak berjalansecara lancar sehingga mereka memiliki konsep diri yang baik sesuai dengan teori interaksi simbolik. Penelitian inijuga menerapkan teori interaksi simbolik Mead untuk menganalisis simbol-simbol perilaku ibu dan anak seperti caraberbicara ibu dalam membangun konsep diri anak. Abstract

Mengubah citra sebuah organisasi pada umumnya merupakan hal yang sulit, terutama bagi kelompok yang memilikilatar belakang yang kontroversial, seperti Exalt to Creativity (XTC) di Kabupaten Bandung, yang dulunya dikenalsebagai geng motor yang memiliki perilaku kekerasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanastrategi komunikasi ketua organisasi PM XTC di Kabupaten Bandung dalam membangun citra positif komunitas.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan 5 informan yang diwawancarai, diobservasi, dandidokumentasikan, serta triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa XTC berhasil menggunakanvisualisasi dan interaksi digital untuk merehabilitasi reputasi mereka, mempengaruhi narasi publik, dan memberikandampak positif bagi masyarakat. Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan meliputi pemilihan pesan yang cermat dankonsistensi identitas visual, yang membantu menghilangkan stigma negatif dan memperkuat citra baru mereka sebagaiagen perubahan sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan komunikasi yang terencana danpenggunaan media sosial dapat menjadi instrumen yang efektif untuk mendefinisikan kembali identitas organisasi danmenciptakan integrasi komunitas yang baik. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi substansial bagi organisasi lain yangberusaha mengubah citra mereka dan menggunakan teknologi digital untuk alasan yang sama. Abstract

This research examined communication strategies in increasing volunteer participation and communication methods in improving disaster communication skills. This research also identified challenges and obstacles in implementing civic voluntarism in the city of Bandung. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach at the Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Service. Data was collected through interviews, documents, observations and literature studies. The research results show that the people of Bandung City have a movement based on civic voluntarism in dealing with Covid 19. Technical guidance is used to encourage civic voluntarism. Technical guidance is used to train skilled volunteers in carrying out disaster communications. By having knowledge, reliability and communication skills, volunteers become one of the strengths of disaster communication in the city of Bandung. There are three main obstacles in its implementation, namely differences in education level, motivation and time availability among volunteers.

Abstract

Aspects of motivation and interpersonal communication are very important in the learning process in college, because motivation will ensure how much effort and encouragement for students in completing education. Not only that, interpersonal communication also affects how students interact with others, to be able to put themselves in a positive atmosphere, so that they can get motivation to be able to complete the final project in achieving a bachelor's degree. The influence of interpersonal communication on students' learning motivation to complete the final project is the subject of this study. This research is based on the theory of self-disclosure proposed by Sydney Marshall Jourad. Quantitative research methods are correlational; Information was collected through questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that interpersonal communication skills affected learning motivation to complete the final project by 6.1%. So it can be concluded that interpersonal communication skills have a less significant effect on learning motivation in completing the final project, so it requires other supporting aspects. Abstract

TikTok melihat pola penggunaan media sosial di masyarakat saat ini sebagai media promosi kegiatan bisnis danpemasaran. Pada tahun 2020, popularitas Somethinc sebagai brand kecantikan lokal berhasil menghantarkan kepadajajaran top 50 brand Indonesia. Fenomena influencer dalam mengunggah konten berupa review produk di akunTikTok mendorong audiens untuk melakukan pembelian tanpa perencanaan (impulsive buying). Metode penelitiankuantitatif korelasional dipilih untuk menggambarkan keterkaitan konten TikTok @somethincofficial terhadapperilaku impulsive buying mahasiswi dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada mahasiswi pengguna produk Somethincdi Jabodetabek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap 400 responden, dapat dinyatakan bahwa Pengaruh KontenTikTok @somethincofficial Terhadap Perilaku Impulsive Buying Mahasiswi di Jabodetabek memiliki pengaruhsebesar 1,5% atau 0,015. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang mendukung antara lain relevansi, akurasi,mudah ditemukan, mudah dipahami, bernilai dan konsistensi terhadap konten yang diunggah di TikTok.
