Abstract

Parking is one of the important elements of urban transportation, such, it has various long and short-term impacts on individuals, societies, and transportation systems. It affects to the transportation mode selection. People tend to drive private car when the representative parking area is available. This research is focused at the determination of the parameters that affect the use of parking area. The parameters are expected to be useful in estimating the parking area demand of the hospital class B in Semarang. There are six major parameters describing the parking slot, i.e.: accumulation, parking volume, total spaces available (capacity), parking turnover, peak time, duration of occupancy and occupancy. Three hospitals are selected as object of the study; there are RS Telogorejo, RS Elisabeth and RS dr Kariadi. The survey is carried out by direct investigation and questionnaire. Statistical analysis by using linear regression, logarithmic, quadratic, and exponential, indicated that the amount of bed used has a very high correlation with the parking demand. The next highest correlation is observed between medical specialist and parking demand. The average duration in RS Telogorejo is 15 – 30 minutes, RS Elisabeth is 30 minutes – 2 hours, and RS dr Kariadi is 15 – 30 minutes for car. For motorcycle, the average duration in RS Telogorejo is 30 minutes – 1 hour, RS Elisabeth is 30 minutes – 2 hours, and RS dr Kariadi is above 4 hours. From the study, it was found that the ratio between parking demand for vehicle and the number of bed being used is 0.89, meanwhile the ratio between parking demand for motorcycle and the number of bed being used is 1.29. Other alternative of parking facility like special parking building area is recommended to be considered for the hospital with limited area. Keywords: parking, hospital

Abstract

Pelaksanaan penanganan jalan di Kabupaten Kudus banyak terjadi ketidakseimbangan paket-paket pekerjaan penanganan jalan seperti banyaknya jalan yang belum mendapat penanganan baik pemeliharaan maupun peningkatan. Selama ini yang digunakan dalam penentuan skala prioritas penanganan jalan didasarkan pada ketersediaan anggaran dan nilai manfaat finansial jalan saja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh urutan prioritas penanganan jalan di Kabupaten Kudus, secara tepat dengan melibatkan pihak-pihak yang terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode AHP dengan 5 (lima) kriteria yang dipakai untuk menentukan prioritas penanganan jalan, yaitu kerusakan jalan, mobilitas, volume lalu lintas, tingkat aksesibilitas, dan pengembangan wilayah. Berdasarkan analisa AHP diperoleh tingkat kepentingan bobot masing-masing kriteria untuk menentukan prioritas penanganan jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria kerusakan jalan memperoleh bobot tertinggi, yaitu 45,06% kemudian kriteria mobilitas 20,62%, kriteria volume lalu lintas 14,53%, kriteria tingkat aksesibilitas 12,78%, dan kriteria pengembangan wilayah 7,01%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa perlu adanya kriteria-kriteria sebagai tolok ukur untuk menentukan dalam prioritas penanganan jalan agar pengalokasian anggaran tepat sasaran.Saran dari penelitian ini dalam menentukan prioritas penanganan jalan di Kabupaten Kudus sebaiknya mempertimbangkan beberapa kriteria sebagai dasar prioritas penanganan jalan. [Title: The Determination of The scale Priorities for Handling in Kudus Use Analytical Hierarchy Process Method]. The implementation of the road handling in Kudus, in fact is found many imbalances packets roads handling jobs like many roads yet had a good handling maintenance and enhancement. So far in setting priorities scale was based on an assessment of the availability of the budget and the value of the financial benefits. The purpose of this study is to obtain an assessment of the priority order in Kudus appropriately involving related parties. This study used AHP with 5 (five) criteria that were used to determine the priority of the road, which is damage to roads, mobility, traffic volume, accessibility, and regional development. Based on AHP analysis, we can found the level of importance weight of each criterion for determining priority road handling. The results showed that the damage criteria to obtain the highest weight, i.e. 45.06% and 20.62% mobility criteria, the criteria of traffic volume 14.53%, 12.78% level of accessibility criteria, and the criteria for regional development 7.01%. Therefore, we need criteria as a benchmark to determine the priority of the road so that the budget allocation is well targeted. The suggestion of this research in deciding the priority of roads handling in Kudus should consider some criteria as the basic priorities for the handling of the road.

Abstract

Delay in the implementation of the project often occurs due to various risk factors that have not been identified during project implementation, so that the impact on project delays and unexpected costs increases. However, each construction project has different risks, becaused the environmental conditions of the project, so that it requires handling different methods of project implementation. This study aims to: 1) analyze the risks that could potentially occur during the construction of the log dock extension; 2) Appropriate Handling Methods for the Implementation of the Log Dock Extension Work. The research method is done by identifying the risks that occur in the field and with the interview method about the possibility of possible risks that occur. The results of the study indicate five high-risk categories according to the perception of service providers that most influence on project delays. These risks include unpredictable external phenomena, such as tidal elevations that exceed plan, resulting in changes in design and method of implementation. The conclusions of this study include that the application of risk management to the implementation of the log dock extension project at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang needs to be applied to minimize delays and reduce unexpected costs.

Abstract

The increasing of urban population growth would affect to the increasing settlement growth which expanding uncontrollably toward the suburbs, this condition will influence transportation problem and 70 % air pollution comes from transportation sector (BAPEDAL in 2006). Semarang cities as case study deals with congestion problems in almost all road network; the most surprising thing is with the presence of mass transit services which is BRT, both BRT corridor I and corridor II, it still have a load factor of 27% (Ilham Hussein, 2012). This study aims to: manage environmentally sound public transportation based on the characteristics of people and city of Semarang. The result of study concluded that in order to manage environmentally sound transportation by creating an unified and integrated mass transit; which is by cutting the BRT routes that are less effective and too long, directed to feeder transport from the tip end of track to the end of beginning of peple mobility with a public transport like mini bus for a distance of > 500m and bike or walking track to feeder within 200 – 500m equipped with convenient bicycle and pedestrian infrastructures. Whereas, for the suburbs mobility to other suburbs it can use rail-based mass transportation (MRT).

Abstract

Star hotel infrastruktur must support by good facility and well services,one for example to provide parking facility that sufficient  for the guess at the  hotel. This study hopely can determine the standart of parking star hotel needs involving with hotel parameters and to determine reduction coefficient of parking hotel needs involving with guest hotel that do trip with many purpose. In this study the location of four hotels that will observe are  Patra Jasa Hotel at  Jl.Sisingamangaraja, Graha Santika Hotel at Jl.Pandanaran, Santika Hotel at Jl.Ahmad Yani and Metro Hotel at Jl. Johar Baru Semarang. This research with approuch  Regresi analisis method,it is look for correlasion amount variable visitor Hotel with variable of hotel facilities. A comparison between parking needs of the guest hotel  parameters which are:1 parking space for  1.54 - 1.86 guest of ballroom,1 parking space for 1.88 - 2.08 room available, and 1 parking space for 78.86 - 79.06 squarre meter hotel floor.Variety for each hotel ,At Patra Jasa Hotel value around are 0.55 – 0.79,for Graha Santika Hotel are 0.67 – 0.86,for Santika Hotel are 0.68 – 0.81 and for Metro Hotel are 0.73 – 0.91 . Variation of the reduction coefficients happens because of guest activity to the different facilities hotel that observed and a difference in serving for hotel facilities that available for guests. Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan wilayah Tembalang, baik di kecamatan Banyumanik dan kecamatan Tembalang, tumbuh dengan pesat. Perkembangan yang tidak didukung dengan fasilitas sarana maupun prasarana yang ada menyebabkan kemacetan kawasan Tembalang. Untuk itu, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui kinerja jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, dengan perhitungan derajat kejenuhan berdasar survey LHR. Lalu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kondisi eksisting angkutan umum saat ini, dari segi kinerja trayek, sarana dan prasarana. Kemudian dilakukan survei kuisioner dan wawancara pada masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH secara random sampling untuk melihat perilaku pergerakan dan pendapat masyarakat. Variable yang digunakan yaitu kondisi sarana dan prasarana, tingkat kenyamanan, sistem operasional, pola pergerakan, kriteria transportasi umum yang diinginkan. Dari hasil tersebut direncanakan sistem feeder yang sesuai untuk jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, Tembalang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pada ruas persimpangan Setiabudi – persimpangan SPBU Undip memiliki derajat kejenuhan ≥ 0,75 sehingga perlu dilakukan penanganan. Sistem feeder yang direncanakan adalah jalur pedestrian yang menghubungkan dengan angkutan feeder dan BRT, Rute trayek baru angkutan utama dan ranting yang melewati jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, mengacu pada Perda no.14 tahun 2011 tentang RTRW kota Semarang. Kata Kunci : sistem feeder, kemacetan, kinerja jalan, sustainableABSTRACT Development of the Tembalang region, both on Banyumanik or Tembalang Sub-district, is grow rapidly. Therefor, evaluation is needed to determine performance of Prof. Soedato, SH, Street by calculating degree of saturation that based on traffic survey. Then, evaluation of existing condition of public transportation at present, in term of route performance, facilities and infrastructure. Then conducted a questionnaire and interview survey in people who lived around of Prof. Soedarto, SH. street by random sampling to know how about people behaviour on trip and opinion. Variable used are facilities and infrastructure condition, level of ease, operational system, trip pattern, desired criteria for public transportation. From that result, designed suitable feeder system for Prof. Soedarto, SH. Street. Evaluation result show that segment Setiabudi intersection – Undip Gas Station intersection has degree saturation value ≥ 0,75, so that its necessary treatment. Feeder system which designed is pedestrian track that would be connected with feeder transport or bus rapid transit, The main dan branch of new routes of transportation, which pass through Prof. Soedarto, SH. Abstract

Peningkatan arus lalu lintas dari waktu ke waktu yang melewati bundaran Simpang Lima Kota Semarang menyebabkan menurunnya kinerja bundaran. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Perhubungan dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja bundaran ialah dengan memberlakukan sistem satu arah (SSA) pada dua ruas jalan yang berhubungan langsung dengan Simpang Lima yaitu Jalan Gajah Mada dan Jalan KH Ahmad Dahlan. Secara terinci, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan kinerja bundaran, nilai biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK) serta nilai manfat terhadap lingkungan pada kondisi sebelum dan sesudah diberlakukan sistem satu arah serta kondisi apabila solusi alternatif diterapkan dalam hal ini overpass.Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis kinerja bundaran Simpang Lima mengacu pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (1997), dan metode yang digunakan dalam analisis biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK) mengacu pada  Pacific Consultan International (PCI).Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa derajat kejenuhan (DS) pada jalinan Jl. Pandanaran – Jl. Gajah Mada sebelum SSA 0,853 , DS setelah SSA 0,94, dan  DS setelah overpass 0,79. BOK sebelum SSA Rp. 2222,48/km,  BOK setelah SSA Rp. 2817,64/km, dan BOK setelah overpass Rp. 2013,31/km. Angka pencemaran NO2 yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 29,015 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 33,873 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 27,588 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran SO2 yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 17,12 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 19,99 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 16,28 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran PM yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 191,49 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 223,56 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 182,08 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran Pb yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 0,039 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 0,046 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 0,037 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran CO yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 138,62 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 161,83 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 131,81 μg/m3.

Abstract

Developments in the area Ambarawa showed increased very rapidly, as shown by the many activities of the trip reset - shuttle from Semarang - Yogyakarta, passing Ambarawa. Barriers of time and is very important to know because it is the minimum travel time for a vehicle to the place of destination. As we know often times it happens that so long queue of vehicles caused by several factors during the journey, such as the existence of market centers along the road, not signalized intersections and also the driver's lack of discipline have contributed to the low road. Barriers of this trip will be a negative impact, such as in the form of lost time due to the long trip and the increase in vehicle operating costs (VOC) to the existing road. The purpose of this evaluation is to analyze the velocity space (space mean speed) and the Vehicle Operating Cost comparison Ambarawa ring road and the existing road. The calculation of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) using the formula for the ring road Pacific Consultant International (PCI) and using the formula in the existing road curve Vehicle Speed. This is because the ring road are relatively few barriers while relatively many barriers existing road. So using a different method for determining vehicle operating costs. From the analysis of the average velocity (space mean speed) it can be seen that the travel time through the streets ring with a distance of 7.3 miles faster than the road with a distance of 6.5 km eksisiting this can be seen from the average velocity (space mean speed) vehicles both cars (58.52 km / h), buses (52.36 km / h) and a truck (47.67 km / h) faster past the ring road ring road vehicles as cars, buses and trucks are not a lot of experience travel barriers. The results of the comparison vehicle operating cost (VOC), obtained past the ring road Ambarawa cost more frugal when dibandingankan the existing road. Where the economic value of automobiles Rp 415.11 (3.09%); truck Rp 2321.46 (4.01%), and buses Rp 3383.27 (8.49%). This is because as the value of travel time on the ring road is more economical than the existing road, so it is recommended the diversion of heavy vehicles (class IIA and IIB) have to go through the roundabout Ambarawa so will reduce the volume of vehicles passing through the existing road also to be more economical in spending operational and can reduce travel time for goods brought more quickly to the destination.

Abstract

Penilaian Kinerja Organisasi berbasis human capital merupakan hal menarik yang perlu dikembangkan oleh perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Human Capital Terhadap Kinerja Organisasi. Human Capital adalah nilai ekonomi dan sumber daya manusia yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan, pengerahuan, ide, keterampilan seseorang. Sedangkan kinerja organisasi adalah gambaran mengenai tingkat pencapaian pelaksanaan tugas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan populasi karyawan PT.Mega Bakti Teknik dengan Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan berdasarkan teknik probability sampling yaitu Proporsional Random Sampling, dimana sampel dipilih secara diproporsikan dan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Human Capital di PT. Mega Bakti Teknik di katagori baik, Kinerja Organisasi di PT. Mega Bakti Teknik di katagori baik, dan Human Capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Organisasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to know the meaning of leadership grows (2) to know the character that is in the growing leadership (3) To know the theory used in the growing leadership. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research. The technique of determining the informant using purposive sampling (subject to purpose). The meaning of leadership grows refers to the tree philosophy. The tree (1) Cultivates leadership, (2) Strengthening the Leadership Tree, (3) arranging a network of leadership trees, (4) strong trees face storms, and (5) spray the new leadership shoots. The character in the growing leadership was to cultivate leadership seeds, which included understanding humanity and leadership. The theory used in the growing leadership is the theory of behaviour. The suggestion in this study was (1) the need for stronger theoretical support in the growth of leadership. (2) The institution or organization is suitable/appropriate to use this theory in the present time, because it is in accordance with the condition of society. Above, leadership grew based on the experience of a leader.
