Abstract

The postpartum period is a critical transition period for mothers, babies and families both psychologically, emotionally and socially. In the postpartum period, 85% of mothers experienced psychological disorders that showed more significant symptoms. Mental health disorders experienced by mothers will have a direct impact on maternal health and cause postpartum complications. This study was to determine the relationship between husband's support and mental health in postpartum mothers at PMB Tri Utami, Semarang City. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative type of research. The data collected were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi square test. Results: the study based on mental health from 30 respondents found 26 respondents (86.7%) with no symptoms of depression, 4 respondents (13.3%) had symptoms of depression. The results of the Chi Square test obtained a sig value of 0.032 <0.05, which means there is a relationship between husband's support and mental health in postpartum mothers. Conclusion: in the study there is a relationship between husband's support and mental health in postpartum mothers at PMB Tri Utami, Semarang City. The suggestions in this research are expected for midwives to increase attention in providing education to husband and wife couples and families about the importance of support and their role in supporting the mental health of postpartum mothers, so that couples and families can better understand their role in supporting the mental health of mothers throughout the period postpartum.

Abstract

Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Kota Semarang dari tahun 2020 ke 2021 mengalami kenaikan dari 71,35/ 100.000 KH menjadi 95,30/ 100.000 kelahiran hidup dengan jumlah 21 kasus, dimana 16 kasus meninggal karena Covid. Pada tahun 2022 jumlah ibu yang meninggal turun menjadi 15 kasus dengan AKI 67,25 per 100.000 KH. Kematian ibu disebabkan oleh Perdarahan (40%), Pre eklampsi (21%), Sepsis (13%), Penyakit (13%), Lain lain (13%). Penyebab perdarahan dan infeksi bisa dikarenakan terjadinya laserasi perineum. Perlukaan pada perineum berefek pada kondisi fisik dan psikologis seorang wanita pasca persalinan. Wanita postpartum yang mempunyai luka perineum biasanya memiliki waktu penyembuhan yang relatif lebih lama. Beberapa penelitian telah dilakukan dalam hal tekhnik pemecahan masalah persalinan, terutama perlukaan jalan lahir. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah pijat perineum. Metode kegiatan adalah pendidikan kesehatan tentang pijat perineum Sasaran ibu hamil TM III di wilayah Puskesmas Tlogosari Kota Semarang. Pendidikan kesehatan diberikan dengan menggunakan media booklet dan leaflet. Metode pendidikan kesehatan dilakukan secara individu maupun kelompok. Pendidikan kesehatan dilakukan 2 kali, pertama  pada saat kunjungan ibu ke Puskesmas, yang kedua melakukan evaluasi melalui whatsapp atau telepon. Pada tahap akhir memberikan evaluasi kepada mitra mengenai pemahaman terhadap pijat perineum. Seluruh materi dapat disampaikan dan diterima dengan baik. Ada beberapa kendala yaitu masalah perizinan membutuhkan waktu yang lama serta ibu hamil yang datang ke Puskesmas tidak pada waktu yang bersamaan

Abstract

Background: Adolescent life is a life that is crucial for the future of the rest of their lives. Adolescent delinquencecan happen when sociological and psychological needs are not well, so that will bring various pattern of aggressive behavior and tend toward the negative. Aggressive behavior problems tend to be negative and it cannot beseparated from mental problems, and the psychological journey dominant in adolescents is still unstable. Influencescoming from the outside often have an impact that brings them to risky behaviors such as smoking, free sex, anddrugs. Therefore, this study aims to find the effect of media exposure on adolescent risk behavior.Method: The type of research used in this research is a survey research of cross sectional approach. The samplein this research is a part of the population of the students of class XI SMK Sudirman Semarang from June until July2015 which amounted to 39 students. The sampling techniques used are a sampling of saturated.Result: Data obtained by the majority of adolescent who have high-risk behavior as much as 53.8%. Media exposure mostly give positive exposure to 61.5%. Results of the correlation of Chi Square p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). Theinfluence of the incorrect information may negatively impact if not matched with the right information from sourcesthat can be accounted for.Conclusion: There are any significant correlation media exposure with the risky behavior of adolescent.Keywords: risky behavior, adolescents, media exposure
