Abstract

This development research aims to produce a science learning kit based on Problem Based Learning to enhance problem-solving skills related to force concepts for elementary school students at Phase B. The research employed a research and development approach consisting of needs analysis, product design, development, validation, and limited implementation stages. Needs analysis was conducted through teacher interviews and classroom observations to identify learning conditions and limitations of instructional media in science lessons. Findings from the analysis served as the foundation for designing the science kit and student worksheets aligned with Problem Based Learning syntax and Polya’s problem-solving indicators. The final product consisted of a science kit containing simple experimental tools and a worksheet book guiding student learning activities. Product validation involved a media expert and a subject matter expert to evaluate content accuracy, design quality, and instructional suitability. Media expert evaluation resulted in a feasibility percentage of 93%, while subject matter expert evaluation reached 96.5%, indicating very high feasibility. Limited implementation was carried out among fourth-grade students through pre-test and post-test administration consisting of eight short-answer questions measuring problem-solving ability. Improvement analysis employed the N-gain formula. Results indicated an N-gain score of 0.3 categorized as moderate improvement. Research findings reveal that the Problem Based Learning–based science kit supports meaningful understanding of force concepts and facilitates structured problem-solving processes. The developed product demonstrates potential as an alternative science learning medium that promotes active learning and higher-order thinking skills in elementary education.

Abstract

Literacy is skills or ability somebody in understand something with reading and writing literacy is foundation important in mastery various skills speaking, including skills writing. Participants educate school base still experience constraint in expressing ideas, understanding story themes, and composingflow in a coherent manner. Purpose from study this is do analysis to effectiveness model Picture and Picture to improve system thinking participant educate class three school base in skills write text narrative approach this help participant educate understand connection cause and effect and integration between events in the story. The method used in study this is quantitative with design pre-experiment one group pretest - posttest on 25 participants educated. Data obtained from the writing test narrative before and after treatment, then the result analyzed use paired sample t-test and N - Gain test. Based on results research, obtained proof existence significant improvements to the system thinking and skills write narrative after its implementation model Picture and Picture with mark significance 0.001 < 0.05 and N- Gain by 44.26% ( category medium). The results show that use of the Picture and Picture model capable increase systems thinking and skills write text narrative to participants educate class three school base.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research aims to explore teachers’ perceptions and preparedness for implementing the IPAS learning approach in the context of the MC. The subjects of this study were 87 elementary school teachers in Bekasi District who were selected through a purposive random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed using interactive qualitative data analysis techniques, including data collection, presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results show that teacher readiness in the curriculum structure understanding is 24% in the high category, 69% medium, and 7% low. In lesson plan aspect, 27% are in the high category, 67% medium, and 6% low category. In the aspect of understanding of differentiated learning, 32% are in the high category, 55% medium, and 13% low. In terms of understanding of P5, 24% are in the high category, 63% medium, and 13% low. Regarding understanding of the Merdeka Mengajar platform, 18% in high category, 44% medium, and 38% low. Teachers' understanding regarding the IPAS assessment are 55% in the high category, 42% medium, and 3% low. Teachers are quite ready to organize science learning in MC implementation and show positive perception.

Abstract

Maka diperlukan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) untuk meningkatkan ecoliteracy siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. This research is motivated by the low ecoliteracy of elementary school students caused by the ineffectiveness of the learning process taking place in schools and the lack of facilitation of students in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop teaching materials based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to improve the ecoliteracy of fourth grade elementary school students. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research instruments used are interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques in this study use qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study, namely teaching materials containing learning activities to be carried out by students, LKPD, reflection, and evaluation. The Contextual Teaching and Learning teaching materials received a score in the very appropriate category with a percentage of 93.2% from the validation of material experts and a score of 100% by design experts. The average N-Gain obtained related to the level of effectiveness of teaching materials was obtained 0.6 with a moderate category. In conclusion, the Contextual Teaching and Learning-based teaching materials that have been developed are in the category of being very suitable for use and can improve ecoliteracy.
