Abstract

Islam is a universal religion that explains various rules related to procedures for worship and interaction between humans. However, the number of cases of religious intolerance remains high. In Indonesia, as a Muslim-majority country alone, between 2019-2023 there were 65 cases of religious intolerance.  Based on this reality, the author tries to analyze the fatwa of the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Syauqi Ibrahim 'Allam who discussed the status of non-Muslim worship. These fatwas were collected in one of his works, Fiqhu al-Wathon wa al-Muwathonah. Thus, this research seeks to analyze the methods and results of istinbath carried out by Dr. Syauqi Ibrahim 'Allam in answering this problem. To achieve this goal, the method used in this research is a qualitative research method that has a content analysis style by taking sources from various studies. The results of this research explain that non-Muslim worship is a place in which security must be guaranteed. This is a form of tolerance and fulfillment of the rights of fellow citizens. In his fatwa, he took sources from various literature of fiqh scholars, so that in each fatwa he was considered in accordance with the concept of thought of one of the four imams of the school of thought. However, he also does not mind when there are differences in fatwas, because differences in social conditions also make it possible for differences in fatwas to emerge.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and tolerance among university students. This research focuses on how university students’ level of religiosity relates to their attitudes towards differences in religion, culture, and views in the academic environment. The research method was a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. This study involved 160 students from various programs at several universities. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of a religiosity measurement scale and tolerance attitude measurement scale. The religiosity measurement scale includes the dimensions of belief, involvement in religious activities, and importance of religion in daily life. The tolerance attitude measurement scale assessed students' responses to statements describing openness, appreciation, and respect for differences. The results of the analysis show a positive correlation between the level of religiosity of university students and their tolerance attitudes. Students who showed higher levels of religiosity tended to have more tolerant attitudes. These findings suggest that religion can act as an important factor in shaping students' social attitudes in the academic environment. This study contributes to the understanding of the role of religion in shaping tolerant attitudes among university students. The implications of these findings can help in designing more inclusive education programs that emphasize openness to differences and respect for diversity. In addition, this study underscores the importance of opening dialogue and facilitating faith in higher education settings. Although the findings provide valuable insights, this study has limitations in terms of sample coverage and geographical area. Further research involving larger and more diverse samples from different countries or regions is expected to corroborate and expand the generalizability of these findings. Future research could also explore other factors that may influence the relationship between religiosity and tolerance among university students.

Abstract

The achievement of students is determined by their efforts. However, students tend to give up easily and become pessimistic when difficulties increase. This study shows that students tend to give up easily and become pessimistic when difficulties increase. This study aims to analyze the relationship between adversity quotient (AQ) and religious culture on student academic achievement in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program. This study is a correlational survey study, with a population of 661 students with an average age of 20. The data scale used a Likert scale. The location of the study was Universitas Islam Tribakti Lirboyo Kediri. The study was conducted on second and fourth-semester students from February to July 2023 using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis used regression analysis. Based on the calculations obtained, a significant relationship exists between adversity quotient and student academic achievement. There is a significant relationship between religious culture and academic achievement. A significant relationship exists between adversity quotient and religious culture on student academic achievement.

Abstract

In this study, the authors used a descriptive qualitative approach which departed from two questions, namely; 1.) "What is Amaliyah doing at the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School in Kediri?", 2.) How is the relationship between Amaliyah at the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School and spiritual education? " With these several questions, the results of the research conducted found that spiritual education in the amaliyah tradition at the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School includes: grave pilgrimages, prayer beads, and recitation of 1000 sholawat. With this amaliyah tradition, we are able to; 1.) overcoming anxiety, fear, and uneasiness of the hearts of the students, 2.) calming the soul, because in it there are things that bring calm, such as dzikrullah in reading tahlil, tahmid, tasbih, and sholawat., 3.) giving direction, motivation and finally grow full awareness to obey, submit to carry out orders and know the prohibitions.

Abstract

A quantitative approach is used in this research using non-parametric statistical analysis of the Kendall tau formula. This form of research is based on field research conducted at TPQ Raudlatul Mubtadi-ien Kediri. The researcher used the data collection method by interviewing and distributing questionnaires with a sample of 48% of the 125 students, who were studied, namely the students of TPQ Raudlatul Mubtadi-ien Kediri who were class II and III ibtida 'who recited with the yanbu'a method. In this study, the researcher will look for the influence of the yanbu'a learning method on the reading potential of the students of TPQ Raudlatul Mubtadi-ien. This Al Qur'an reading program is available at the TPQ Raudlatul Mubtadi-ien from kindergarten to ibtida 'class III. The findings of this research are balanced students' perceptions and reading potential of the Qur'an at a high level, however, in the hypothesis test it is rejected with a value of 0.106 with a significance of 0.130, which means that most of the students do not understand and are not aware of learning with the yanbu'a method, students only focus on the Koran.

Abstract

Multimedia-based learning can certainly present learning material that is more interesting, not monotonous, and facilitates delivery. Students can learn a certain subject matter independently with a computer equipped with multimedia programs. This research method is qualitative. As with the direction of qualitative research, the collected data is analyzed with the provision of intellectual weapons in the form of theory as presented in chapter II to obtain various interpretative descriptions in accordance with the rules of scientific research that are logical and rational. The results of this study are: (1) Utilization of Macromedia Flash as a medium for fiqh learning in Class V Ibtidaiyah Ainul Huda Juwet Nggruk Nganjuk based on the Alessi and Trollip model, which is broadly divided into several stages of use including determining needs and goals, gathering resources, study material, generate ideas, design learning, create material that supports, evaluates and reviews. (2) The effectiveness of using Macromedia Flash in fiqh learning in Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ainul Huda Juwet Ngronggot Nganjuk is effective enough to support learning in madrasas because it is supported by a very good display quality and easily accepted by students, presenting clear material and displaying concrete things. so students easily understand the material, user interactions and good program interactions so the teacher and students can be active in learning.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the values ​​of religiosity through the mujahadah tradition at Islamic Vocational School Ulul Albab Nganjuk. This research departs from two research questions, "How is the mujahadah tradition in Ulul Albab Nganjuk Islamic Vocational School? What are the religious values ​​contained in the mujahadah tradition at SMK Islam Ulul Albab Nganjuk?". This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This research conducted in Ulul Albab Islamic Vocational School. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and partisipan observation. With these two questions, the results of the study found that (1) the mujahadah tradition is a behavior to fight lust, as an effort to combat all bad attitudes caused by lust of anger. Meanwhile, the mujahadah tradition at Ulul Albab Islamic Vocational School contains the recitation of Hizbul Quran and Rotib Hadad, then continued with sunnah prayers, reading rotib istigasah then tausiyah after that it is continued with dhuhur prayer in congregation and ends with mushofahah. (2) Mujahadah which is held at Ulul Albab Islamic Vocational School is intended so that all students can become better individuals and so that their spiritual souls can increase, and also so that their spirituality will mature. The results of observations on the implementation of the mujahadah at Ulul Albab Islamic Vocational School show that students' awareness of the importance of the mujahada is still lacking, but in its implementation they are very enthusiastic and happy in doing it, although the changes seen are still not optimal.

Abstract

This article reviews the background of the emergence of Post-truth and the impact of Post-truth. This lecture uses literature review by examining various sources of reading in mass media and social media. The results of this paper explain that in Indonesia Post-truth auctioning and post-election 2019 is rife on social media. Post-truth on social media does not stop there but continues to roll on various problems that exist in this country. Starting is an ethnicity, religion, and race. Hoaxes and hate speech using social media platforms as a means of spreading are not trivial matters, because the series of attacks may continue to surge. The pressure from social media often forms wild and uncontrollable opinions, which are hoped to be exploited by some groups for certain interests.

Abstract

This article is limited to a literature study dealing with radicalization in educational institutions. More specifically, the authors want to add as much information as possible, so that this paper strengthens the study of literature and data that can strengthen further research. The preliminary results are as follows: radicalism enters through textbooks, by changing the religious understanding of teachers and students, the books used are official books published by the government and private institutions through worksheets. Based on the above problems, the author has indeed tried to look back at some of the teaching materials for Islamic religious education which are mixed with radical ideas as revised by the government and by the community to improve textbooks so that radical understanding can be lost. So it is necessary to reorientate the handling of radicalization which has been done and understood by great people. Efforts to stem radicalism, which have so far been more focused on terrorists or warfighters, have not been carried out much as an understood precaution and radical action.
