Abstract

This paper is to find out learning that uses fairy tale methods and increase students' literacy skills in rewriting the contents of fairy tales. Researchers use classroom action research. Data collection techniques with observation and writing ability tests, with skinative and quantitative analysis techniques. Research findings: there is an increase in the ability to rewrite fairy tales read from cycle I to cycle II. There are variations in storytelling techniques by utilizing various learning media in the form of images, audio visuals and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang sejarah moderasi islam dalam organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama. NU sebagai organisasi islam terbesar di Indonesia memiliki komitmen yang kuat dalam mengusung islam moderat. NU lahir atas respons terhadap perkembangan politik eksternal. Perkembangan internasional telah mengarah pada pembentukan NU, sementara keadaan sosial-keagamaan dan politik negara ini hanya bagian dari alasan untuk mendirikan organisasi ini. Salah satu faktor terpenting yang mengarah pada pembentukan NU adalah masalah representasi dalam melindungi kepentingan muslim tradisionalis yang merasa terancam oleh kebangkitan gerakan Wahhabi yang dikenal radikal yang telah menguasan kawasan Jazirah Arab. Pada perkembangann berikut dengan penguatan arus globalisasi, terutama globalisasi budaya, baik dalam bentuk urbanisasi dan westernisasi, diperlukan pula moderasi Islam sebagai arusutama dalam menjaga Islam. maka NU mengusung konsep Islam Nusantara untuk membendung arus globalisasi.

Abstract

This paper explains the mainstreaming of Islamic moderation in tertiary institutions as part of the counter of radical understanding which has recently been strengthened. First, mainstreaming Islamic moderation as a new paradigm by making regulations on subjects, dress codes, declarations of lecturer associations as a commitment to counter radicalism. Second, in the process of mainstreaming Islamic moderation starting from the mechanism of student admission and welcoming students with various series of orientation of the period of new student admissions. The activity agenda is longer compared to other campuses in general. Third, the mainstreaming of Islamic moderation is carried out by developing an Islamic religion curriculum that is taught for six semesters in general study programs. In the learning process, it is more focused on the discussion method by utilizing various learning media; and the process of knowledge integration

Abstract

This paper explores the moderation of Islamic Religious Education in higher education. This paper is the result of library research by collecting several research journals related to the theme of writing. Higher education as an educational institution that creates the nation's next generation plays an important role in growing the concept of religious moderation. Higher education is a representation in instilling a tolerant attitude of students towards differences in beliefs in Indonesia. Reflecting on the issue of sara that disturbs the sensitivity of certain communities, it opens up conflicts that continue to occur now and in the future. The conflict must be closed immediately in order to prevent divisions in the life of the nation and state. Disputes, strife, and bloodshed. Moderate Islam can solve all problems related to intolerance and understanding that can disrupt the stability of the country such as radicalism, extremism, as well as other forms of discrimination. In this context, to strengthen the ideology and character of the nation's generation, universities must effectively instill and strengthen an understanding of religious moderation. For example, carrying out the function of moderating religious houses, providing moderate Islamic learning and realizing inter-religious harmony.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the development of spirituality that is traversed through the grave pilgrimage tradition by utilizing symbolic interactionist theory, religious and cultural theory, and spiritual intelligence theory. This study wanted to reveal the process and impact of a person’s spiritual change after carrying out the tradition of pilgrimage in the Tomb of Shaykh Syamsuddin al-Wasil, Kediri city. The results of this study show that first, spiritual process of pilgrims starts from the reason for making the tomb of Shaykh Syamsuddin Al-Wasil, Kediri city as an object of spiritual education, namely a media reminder for pilgrims, efforts to approach pilgrims to Allah, and as a place of prayer. The spiritual process itself is divided into three stages, namely; (1) pre-pilgrimage by purifying with ablution, (2) the stage of pilgrimage begins with tawasul on special people, reading the Qur’an, reading tahlil and finally reading the do’a, (3) after the pilgrimage by doing shodaqoh. Second, in terms of spiritual changes in the pilgrim’s self, namely; (1) inner changes such as calmness of heart and feeling holy heart, (2) changes in the end like feeling in living life more diligently and zealously, feeling lazy disappears, and pilgrims can control emotions. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengembangan spiritualitas yang dilalui dengan cara tradisi ziarah kubur dengan memanfaatkan teori interaksionis simbolis, teori agama dan budaya, serta teori kecerdasan spiritual. Penelitian ini mengungkap proses dan dampak perubahan spiritual sesorang setelah melakukan tradisi ziarah di Makam Syaikh Syamsuddin al-Wasil kota Kediri. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa; pertama proses spiritual peziarah bermula dari alasan menjadikan makam Syaikh Syamsuddin Al-Wasil Kota Kediri sebagai objek pendidikan spiritual yakni, media pengingat bagi peziarah, upaya mendekatan peziarah pada Allah, dan sebagai tempat berdo’a. Proses spiritual sendiri dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yakni; (1) pra ziarah dengan melakukan penyucian dengan berwudhu, (2) tahap ziarah dimulai dengan bertawasul pada orang-orang khusus, membaca al-Qur’an, membaca tahlil dan terakhir membaca do’a, (3) pasca ziarah dengan melakukan shodaqoh. Kedua, segi perubahan spiritual yang terjadi pada diri peziarah yakni; (1) perubahan secara batin seperti ketenangan hati dan merasa hati menjadi bersih, (2) perubahan secara dhohir seperti merasa dalam menjalani hidup semakin rajin dan bersemangat, rasa malas menghilang, dan peziarah dapat mengontrol emosi.

Abstract

Religious traditions become a form of community religiosity. One’s religious attitude can be manifested in religious forms and actions through religious rituals such as prayer, fasting, zakat, pilgrimage, and other rituals such as tahlil, istighasha, and salawat. Public openness to religious traditions will close the space for radicalization. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, Interviews, documentation and focus group discussion. The findings of this study: first, the salawat council becomes a forum for people who have a spirit of religiosity in carrying out religious traditions. The development of salawat assemblies in the Mataraman region is quite a lot, but there are salawat assemblies having affiliations with FPI and defend against HTI. Second, the salawat council's existence received a response from Gus (young Kyai) who then brought the salawat council as a counterweight to the previous assembly. Its presence becomes a choice for the people in neutralizing radical understanding. As the community's religious universe grows, it needs an assembly that can lead to Islam's concept wasathiyah. Tradisi keagamaan menjadi wujud dari religiusitas masayarakat. Sikap religiusitas seseorang dapat diwujudkan dalam bentuk dan tindakan keagamaan melalui ritual-ritual kegamaan seperti, salat, puasa, zakat, haji, dan ritual lain seperti tahlil, istighasha, dan salawat. Keterbukaan masyarakat pada tradisi agama akan menutup ruang gerak radikalisasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data, wawancara, dokumentasi dan FGD. Temuan penelitian ini: pertama, majelis salawat menjadi wadah bagi masyarakat yang mimiliki spirit religiusitas dalam menjalankan tradisi keagamaan. Perkembangan majelis salawat di wilayah Mataraman cukup banyak, akan tetapi ada majelis salawat yang memiliki afiliasi dengan FPI dan melakukan pembelaan terhadap HTI. Kedua, keberadaan majelis salawat tersebut mendapat respon dari Gus (kyai muda) yang kemudian memunculkan majelis salawat sebagai penyeimbang  majelis sebelumnya. Kehadirannya menjadi pilihan bagi umat dalam menetralisir paham radikal. Seiring meningkatnya semangat keagamaan masyarakat, maka dibutuhkan majelis yang dapat mengarahkan pada konsep Islam wasatiyah.

Abstract

Active learning with student centering can improve critical thinking skills. Debates and discussions encourage active learning. Both are oriented toward critical thinking ability, in addition to the learning styles also make an impact on critical thinking ability. This paper aims to answer whether there are (1) differences in students critical thinking ability in the debate class and discussion class, (2) differences in critical thinking ability of students who have divergent learning styles and convergent learning style, and (3) interaction between learning method and learning style to critical thinking ability? This study uses a pseudo experimental design. Subjects in this study are students semester II. Analytical technique using Anova. The results of this study conclude: (1) there is no difference in critical thinking ability between debating class and discussion class, (2) there is difference of critical thinking ability between convergent learning style and divergent learning style, convergent learning style is better than divergent learning style, and (3) there is interaction between learning method and learning style to critical thinking ability which means that the influence of learning method on critical thinking ability is influenced by learning style.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Kecerdasan Buatan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam perlu memperhatikan kebijakan, inovasi dan implikasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka dengan mengkaji beberapa jurnal dan buku terbitan tahun 2018-2024. Temuan dalam penelitian ini, pertama, pemanfaatan AI perlu dukungan dari berbagai pihak baik dari segi kebijakan, infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, pendanaan dan perlunya pendekatan teknologi kinerja manusia. Kedua, banyak aplikasi yang digunakan dalam pemanfaatan AI diantaranya: Concordance-Based Word Search, aplikasi web indeks Al-Quran, aplikasi tanya jawab terjemah Al-Quran menggunakan Query Expansion Method, aplikasi Muslim Pro dan ChatGPT. Ketiga, terdapat dampak positif dan negatif pemanfaatan AI, memudahkan proses pembelajaran jika disertai dengan etika dan moral. Ketergantungan pembelajaran dengan teknologi dan validitas informasi yang disampaikan AI dalam menafsirkan Al-Quran dan sumber lainnya.

Abstract

This article aims to describe in depth the discussion process in Fiqh learning in class IX MTs, as well as to analyze the impact of implementing this method on students' critical thinking skills. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, in this case the data is obtained through observation techniques, interviews and document studies. This study resulted in findings that the discussion process was carried out in two stages, namely the first small group discussion and the second large group discussion which previously began with presentations from several groups. The discussion process has a relationship in the development of students' critical thinking skills, this is due to several things contained in the discussion process, namely Students Are Actively Involved in Learning, Questions Asked, In-Depth Analysis, Argumentation and Diverse Arguments. This study confirms that the discussion method is a good option in learning activities which has good value in the development of students' critical thinking.
