Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the influence of teacher communication style, reward provision, and the implementation of ice breaking activities on students’ motivation in learning economics. The research was motivated by the observed low enthusiasm and engagement of students during economics lessons at SMA N 1 Balapulang.Method – The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational associative survey design. Data were collected through a validated questionnaire comprising 60 Likert-scale items, administered to a sample of 40 grade XI students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Additional data were obtained from observation and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS version 26. Findings – The results indicate that teacher communication style and ice breaking activities significantly and positively affect students’ learning motivation, while reward provision shows no significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables contribute significantly, explaining 33.8% of the variance in learning motivation. Teacher communication style was found to have the strongest relative influence, followed by ice breaking, whereas rewards had a weak and non-significant contribution. Research Implications – These findings highlight the importance of interpersonal communication and engaging classroom dynamics in enhancing students’ learning motivation, particularly in subjects often considered less appealing such as economics. Teachers are encouraged to strengthen their communication skills and incorporate creative ice breaking strategies, while the use of rewards should be reconsidered to align better with students’ needs and perceptions. Future studies may expand the scope by including intrinsic motivation factors, family environment, or technology-based learning methods.

Abstract

Revisi taksonomi Bloom menitikberatkan pada (1) perubahan aplikasi yang terdiri dari tiga bidang yaitu aplikasi bidang penyusunan kurikulum, aplikasi bidang instruksi pengajaran, aplikasi bidang assesment/ penilaian; dan (2) perubahan terminologi yang menekankan pada sub kategori sehingga penilaian menjadi lebih spesifik, mudah dalam menyusun penilaian pada kurikulum, serta mudah dalam menyusun instruksi pengajaran. Revisi taksonomi Bloom juga mengubah kata kunci operasional dari kata benda menjadi kata kerja dari level terendah sampai dengan level tertinggi.Terdapat perubahan yang sangat signifikan pada revisi taksonomi Bloom di domain kognitif yang terdiri dari dua dimensi yaitu dimensi pengetahuan dan dimensi proses kognitif. Dimensi pengetahuan berubah menjadi faktual, konseptual, prosedural, metakognisi. dimensi proses kognitif baru menjadi mengingat, memahami, mengaplikasikan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Domain afektif meliputi rasa, nilai, apresiasi, antusiasme, motivasi, dan sikap tercermin pada perilaku/ attitude sehari-hari pada proses pembelajaran baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Domain psikomotorik dirumuskan sebagai serangkaian kemampuan yang bersifat kongkrit dan abstrak. Bloom's taxonomic revision focuses on (1) application changes that consist of three fields, namely the application of curriculum development. application of teaching instruction area, application of assessment/ assessment field; and (2) changes in the terminology emphasizing sub-categories so that assessment becomes more specific, it is easy to arrange assessments in the curriculum, and easy to arrange instructions teaching. Revised Bloom's taxonomy also changed the operational keywords from words to verbs from the lowest level to the highest level. There is a very significant change in Bloom's revised taxonomy in the cognitive domain which consists of two dimensions, namely the dimension of knowledge and the dimension of cognitive processes. The dimension of knowledge changes into factual, conceptual, procedural metacognition. the dimension of the new cognitive process becomes remembering, understanding apply. analyze, evaluate and create. Affective domain includes taste, value, appreciation, enthusiasm, motivation. and attitudes are reflected in behavior everyday in the learning process both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Domain psychomotor formulated as a series of abilities that are concrete and abstract.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the independent curriculum, Learning Motivation, on the Learning Achievement of class X students at Ihsaniyah High School, Tegal City. This research is a type of quantitative research. Data collection methods used in this research are observation, questionnaires, documentation. Descriptive analysis techniques, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test and simultaneous test. The results of this research, namely the effectiveness of the independent curriculum, found that the implementation of this curriculum had a significant influence of 80.6% on student learning achievement. The effectiveness of the independent curriculum is proven to play an important role in increasing student academic achievement, showing that this curriculum effectively supports the achievement of better learning outcomes. Apart from that, learning motivation also contributes greatly to learning achievement, with an influence of 79%. This research underlines the importance of the effectiveness of learning motivation in improving student learning outcomes. When the combination of an independent curriculum and learning motivation is applied, the overall effectiveness reaches 84.6%, showing a strong synergy between the two in supporting student learning achievement. Thus, implementing an effective curriculum and developing high motivation is very important to achieve optimal learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between ability and effort, intellectual skills, emotional skills, spiritual skills, digital skills and students' entrepreneurial character and abilities. The quantitative method was obtained through an online survey involving 200 students from Private IKIP in Central Java. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), because it is able to test complex relationships between latent variables and indicators simultaneously and provide accurate estimates of the structural and measurement models. The research results show that ability (AE) has a significant relationship of 1.15%, while emotional skills (ES) make a small contribution of 0.13% to entrepreneurial character (later_var1). Intellectual skills (CG) have a strong influence of 0.04%, Digital Skills (DS) have a strong influence of 0.21%, and spiritual skills (SS) have a strong influence of 0.91% on entrepreneurial ability (laten_var2). However, no significant direct relationship was found (0%) between entrepreneurial character (laten_var1) and entrepreneurial ability (laten_var2). These findings show that ability and effort, intellectual skills, emotional skills, spiritual skills, digital skills can shape character and entrepreneurial abilities. This study identifies limitations of the model and sample, and recommends moderating factors in future research.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara penghasil kedelai terbesar di dunia, dengan produk olahan seperti tempe dan tahu yang menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari budaya dan konsumsi masyarakat. Namun, industri pembuatan tempe, terutama di sektor rumahan seperti di Desa Pamutih, Kabupaten Pemalang, menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan limbah kulit ari kedelai. Limbah ini, yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan, sebenarnya memiliki kandungan nutrisi tinggi sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak. Melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis partisipatif, diadakan pelatihan untuk mengolah limbah kulit ari kedelai menjadi pakan booster itik. Program ini melibatkan ibu-ibu kader PKK dan wirausaha tempe setempat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan sekaligus menciptakan nilai tambah ekonomi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola limbah menjadi produk bernilai guna, serta mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan. Program ini memberikan solusi inovatif dalam mengatasi permasalahan limbah industri tempe sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat untuk berkontribusi dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya pengelolaan dana BOS yang transparan dan akuntabel di tingkat sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana BOS. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Bendahara I, Bendahara II, Komite Sekolah, dan Wali Murid. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi laporan keuangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sekolah telah melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana BOS, seperti menyusun laporan keuangan, keterbukaan informasi kepada publik, dan menerapkan mekanisme pengawasan internal yang efektif. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun upaya yang dilakukan sudah baik, masih diperlukan penguatan pengawasan dan peningkatan kapasitas manajemen keuangan. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya penguatan pengawasan internal, peningkatan kemampuan manajerial keuangan, dan pengembangan komunikasi yang efektif dengan pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi di dunia pendidikan adalah pengembangan instrumen asesmen yang valid dan dapat diandalkan untuk mengukur capaian pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model instrumen tes yang valid guna mengukur capaian pembelajaran matematika dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di akhir fase D. Dalam pengembangan instrumen ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan uji validitas dengan metode Pearson correlation untuk memastikan bahwa setiap butir soal dapat secara akurat merefleksikan pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Data yang diperoleh dari pengujian instrumen melibatkan respon peserta didik yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus Pearson correlation. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semua butir soal memiliki koefisien korelasi yang signifikan, dengan nilai di atas ambang batas yang ditetapkan, sehingga dinyatakan valid. Validitas instrumen ini sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa evaluasi hasil belajar sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Kurikulum Merdeka, serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan kurikulum dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan asesmen pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan efisien

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at the elementary level often faces challenges, especially in delivering abstract concepts such as plant reproduction. Conventional materials such as textbooks and worksheets are often insufficient in providing meaningful and engaging learning experiences. This study aims to analyze the need for developing digital-based IPAS teaching materials using interactive digital media as a contextual and multimodal solution that encourages active student participation. The research employed an exploratory descriptive method with a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data. Samples were selected using proportional cluster random sampling, involving teachers, students, school principals, and parents in Pemalang Regency. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and in-depth interviews and analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate a high demand among all respondent groups for technology-based IPAS learning materials that are visual, interactive, and easy to understand. Teachers found interactive digital media to be relevant and user-friendly, allowing for engaging content delivery through text, images, video, and audio. Principals expressed full support for the development of such media in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum. Parents showed enthusiasm and a willingness to assist their children in using digital tools. Students reported increased motivation and better comprehension when learning was supported by multimodal and interactive media. In conclusion, developing IPAS teaching materials based on interactive digital media is essential to meet the demands of 21st-century learning and to enhance student engagement, understanding, and learning outcomes in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to design a transformational leadership model for principals that can strengthen students' religious character at the Junior High School (SMP) level. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, this study analyzes the need to improve the leadership skills of principals in educating students' religious character. The subjects of the study consisted of five principals and ten teachers from junior high schools in Pemalang Regency, selected using a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and questionnaires to identify the challenges faced by principals in implementing transformational leadership. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide recommendations that can improve the effectiveness of leadership based on strengthening students' religious character. The findings of the study revealed that the biggest challenges faced were the lack of training that focused on religious values ​​and the need for a more structured and practical leadership model.
