Abstract

Media yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini adalah aplikasi mobile di Android yang berisi materi latihan ketangguhan mental (Mental Toughness) seperti latihan visualisasi (imagery), latihan relaksasi (relaxation), latihan penetapan tujuan (goal setting), dan latihan positive self-talk. Di sisi lain, media android menampilkan animasi tombol dan backsound sehingga membuat pengguna media ini tertarik. Media Android dikemas dalam satuan kecil dan lengkap, dengan contoh ilustrasi yang jelas, mampu menampilkan atau memvisualisasikan proses latihan ketangguhan mental, mengulang materi, memberikan tes untuk latihan, dan dapat dioperasikan setiap saat. Pemanfaatan media yang tepat merupakan salah satu upaya dalam mengembangkan latihan yang lebih berkualitas dan efektif. Dalam proses pembentukan mental tanding diperlukan media latihan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan ketangguhan mental Mahasiswa. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar suatu proses latihan dapat terlaksana secara efisien dan efektif. Mahasiswa yang menggunakan media untuk menunjang proses latihan baik di dalam maupun di luar perkuliahan cenderung dapat memahami konten dengan baik dan lebih terketangguhan mental untuk latihan ketika menggunakan aplikasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra dalam mengatasi masalah prioritas dengan cara menerapkan aplikasi latihan ketangguhan mental (Mental Toughness) berbasis Android untuk memudahkan dan meningkatkan ketangguhan mental mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan praktek Psikologi Olahraga. Setelah aplikasi digunakan, selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran tingkat ketangguhan mental mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan aplikasi latihan ketangguhan mental (mental toughness) berbasis android. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut, hasil pengukuran juga menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan ketangguhan mental bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of basic locomotor motor skills in running and jumping among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 161/IX Panca Mulya. The population in this study was all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 161/IX Panca Mulya in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample in this study was the entire population, so the technique used was total sampling. Thus, the sample size in this study was 33 students, equal to the population size, consisting of 23 female students and 10 male students. This study used a descriptive method with a survey approach. This study used a descriptive survey research design with a cross-sectional model. The data obtained in this study consisted of test data (basic locomotor motor skills) and non-test data (basic locomotor motor skills). Therefore, data analysis was carried out using two approaches, namely Test Data Analysis (Zig-Zag Running and Long Jump Without Run-up Motor Skills) and Non-Test Data Analysis (Running and Jumping Skills Rubric). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 161/IX Panca Mulya have overall basic locomotor motor skills in the Good category, namely 11 students (33%), followed by the Moderate category with 10 students (30%), Poor with 7 students (21%), Very Poor 4 students (12%), and Very Good 1 student (3%). Meanwhile, the overall results of students' basic locomotor motor skills were also in the Good category, namely 16 students (48.48%), followed by the Moderate category with 15 students (45.45%), and Poor with 2 students (6.06%). These results indicate that, overall, students' mastery of basic locomotor motor skills has been well established, with a predominance of the Good category, although there are still students in the Moderate and Poor categories who require additional guidance to improve their movement skills.

Abstract

Volleyball is a sport that involves a great deal of jumping and landing. These movements carry a relatively high risk of injury, particularly to the ankles. Improper landing techniques can cause loss of balance and increase the likelihood of injury among athletes. Based on observations of female volleyball athletes from the Cipalima Club in Merangin Regency, it was found that some athletes still employ poor landing techniques, such as insufficient knee bending upon landing, unstable body balance, and uneven body weight distribution. This study aims to analyze the biomechanics of landing and the risk of ankle injury among female volleyball athletes from the Cipalima Club in Merangin Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The subjects of this study are the female volleyball athletes of the Cipalima Club in Merangin Regency. Data collection was conducted through observation and measurement using several instruments, namely the Landing Error Scoring System (LESS) to assess landing technique errors, the Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) to measure dynamic balance, and the Ankle Injury Risk Index (AIRI) to determine the level of ankle injury risk among the athletes. The results of the study indicate that some athletes still make errors in their landing technique, characterized by insufficient knee flexibility, unstable body control, and suboptimal balance. These conditions indicate a potential risk of ankle injury. Athletes with better biomechanical landing techniques tend to have a lower risk of injury compared to those with poorer landing techniques. The conclusion of this study indicates that landing biomechanics plays a crucial role in minimizing the risk of sports injuries among female volleyball athletes. Therefore, training that emphasizes proper landing technique, improved balance, and strengthening of the lower extremity muscles is necessary to reduce the risk of injury among athletes.
