Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemanfaatan teknologi oleh para mahasiswa di kota Palangkaraya. Teknologi yang menjadi fokus disini adalah podcast. Podcast merupakan audio dan video yang marak digunakan sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi. Informasi yang diberikan sangat beragam, hal ini tergantung dari narasumber atau pembicara dalam topik podcast tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif studi. Data-data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar kuisioner semi terbuka and wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisa data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah analisis persentase. Sehingga kemudian hasil analisis tersebut dijabarkan secara jelas guna menggambarkan keadaan objek secara konkrit dan riil. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa 97% mahasiswa di kota Palangkaraya telah mengenal dan menggunakan podcast sebagai sarana untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait dengan bidang ilmunya masing-masing. Akan tetapi beberapa dari mereka masih mengalami kendala dalam memahami podast yang berbahasa Inggris.

New admissions is a regular activity performed each year. Each year, an increase of students who will enroll. This is evident from the number of prospective students are always increasing and enthusiastic to register on STMIK Palangka Raya. The existing system is still not fully integrated and lack of network infrastructure for data exchange so as not supporting the effectiveness of the work on the new admissions. It is necessary for the design of the system architecture of the network infrastructure for integrating existing information systems so as to achieve the vision and mission of the College. To illustrate the design is based on a theoretical basis, using Edraw Max 7. This study uses a framework approach Shelly Cashman namely initialization and total cost of ownership (TCO), scalability, electoral process and security issues. The end result of this research is the blueprint proposed system architecture on Information Systems Admissions STMIK Palangka Raya.

With its growing congregation of a church, then the church service requires an advance and improve the better. Therefore, a website for the church is important in providing a solution to the constraints that happen. News GKE SION neighborhood church congregation had previously only made in paper media obtained during worship Sunday only, so that the risk of damage / loss of information occur frequently. Overcoming the limitations of community news, then made the information systems that are faster and can be accessed easily without the constraints of time to build web-based applications. This website uses technologies that AJAX and Web 2.0 Content Management System (CMS) on the admin menu and menu content. This website generates message of the church in the form of online media format to get various information bulletin church and worship services that include Profile, Regarding GKE Church congregation SION along News is updated every week. With this website the churches helped in getting the information the church.

Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa STMIK Palangkaraya ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu media latihan English Proficiency Test dengan memanfaatkan Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL).Adapun aplikasi berbasis Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quizziz. Materi soal tes bahasa Inggris yang digunakan dalam media latihan ini berada pada level C1. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan media latihan English Proficiency Test dengan memanfaatkan Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan.Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi bagi masyarakat yang ingin berlatih soal English Proficiency Test dari mana saja dan kapan saja serta menggunakan perangkat smartphone mereka sendiri

Applications based on artificial intelligence are becoming widely used in education as well. These applications are utilized by both students and professors. Artificial intelligence-based applications that are available for free and indefinite use raise worries about the possibility of abuse. This study aimed to minimize the negative impacts of using artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications on independent English learning activities. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews with 15 lecturers and open questionnaires with 169 students from four educational institutions in Palangkaraya City. The results of the study showed that 93% of students and 87% of lecturers stated that the use of AI applications has the potential to trigger violations of academic ethics, especially plagiarism and copyright infringement, if users are not prepared with critical awareness. The key findings of this study underlined the importance of strengthening ethical-based digital literacy through three main efforts, they are1) socialization of guidelines for the use of AI in accordance with academic principles, 2) integration of technology ethics modules in the learning curriculum, and 3) development of a collaborative-based supervision system between institutions, lecturers, and students.

Background: Palangkaraya is a city that has a variety of natural beauty and culture. However, the tourism potential in this area is still not fully optimized and managed properly. One of the causes of this is the lack of ownership by the Government regarding the mapping of areas that have the potential to become tourist areas in Palangkaraya City. Therefore a system is needed that can assist the Government in mapping areas that have the potential to become tourist areas Objective: Develop a system that can be used to map areas that have the potential to become tourist areas. The information generated from the developed system is expected to assist the government and the private sector in increasing tourism in Palangkaraya City. Methods: The method used is the application of Location Based Service technology with a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process and Profile Matching methods. Result: The system developed uses 10 criteria with 37 alternatives to produce information related to the sequence of tourism potential levels where the results of the sequence are then displayed on a map to provide an overview of the mapping of tourism potential areas. Conclusion: The system that has been created has succeeded in mapping areas that have tourism potential by applying LBS technology and a combination of AHP and Profile Matching methods. From this system it was found that blood with the alternative code A1 had the highest value, namely 4.295193, followed by A10 with a value of 4.156934 and so on. The test results were carried out by comparing the results of the system with the calculation results, it was found that the results were appropriate.

This community service activity, which is a form of higher education tridharma obligation, aims to increase the professionalism and competence of teachers/teachers at the Junior High School (SMP) level in the city of Palangka Raya. The material presented in this community service activity is in the form of various interactive and interesting learning methods in teaching in English and making interactive learning media with the Microsoft PowerPoint application. This service activity was carried out on Saturday, February 03, 2024 at the STMIK Palangkaraya campus hall. The target of this community service activity is the teachers/teachers of Junior High Schools (SMP) in the city of Palangka Raya. The method of this activity uses the form of presentations and training which are then followed by discussions between participants and presenters. The costs for this community service activity are fully sourced from STMIK Palangkaraya through the Research, Publication and Community Service Unit (UP3M). The results of this community service can be concluded that the activity participants gained additional knowledge to further enhance their respective professionalism and competence

Kantor Badan Pengelola Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Palangka Raya yang beralamat di Jl. Tjilik Riwut No. 98 Bukit Tunggal, Kec. Jekan Raya, Kota Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Dalam pengelolaan surat masuk dan surat keluar masih menggunakan cara manual dan belum terkomputerisasi. Oleh karena itu, pengarsipan surat masuk dan surat keluar untuk dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat komputer melalui sistem aplikasi yang berfungsi untuk melakukan pengarsipan surat masuk dan surat keluar secara efisien. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode SDLC. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan Kepustakaan. Desain proses menggunakan Unifield Modeling Language (UML), perancangan antar muka (Interface) menggunakan Figma serta aplikasi pengolahan kode program menggunakan Sublime Text 3, menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework CodeIgniter dan menggunakan MySql sebagai pengolahan database sistem. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa Aplikasi Surat Masuk dan Surat Keluar Berbasis Web Pada Badan Pengelola Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Palangka Raya, berdasarkan uji coba blackbox testing menunjukan bahwa aplikasi sudah berfungsi dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan pengguna serta dapat disimpulkan bahwa Aplikasi Surat Masuk dan Surat Keluar Berbasis Web Pada Badan Pengelola Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Palangka Raya sudah layak digunakan.

Sistem informasi Helpdesk dapat memastikan dan mengevaluasi terkait keluhan masyarakat dizaman teknologi informasi. Saat melakukan kegiatan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, terdapat permasalahan yang muncul pada DISKOMINFOSANTIK Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Dikarenakan instansi tersebut belum memiliki sistem pengaduan agar mengelola keluhan secara teratur dan terorganisir dengan baik. Peneliti melakukan tahap observasi dan wawancara terlebih dahulu. Peneliti merancang sistem informasi Helpdesk berbasis web menggunakan Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan metode waterfall agar sistem yang dirancang dapat digunakan oleh staff bagian IT dalam memecahkan masalah dengan cepat dan dapat menyimpan informasi dari setiap masalah dalam pengaduan yang diterima, sehingga dapat meminimalkan kesalahan komunikasi.
