Abstract

This paper aims to set out the efforts of improving the literacy of students activities as implementation of GLS (movement of the Lietarsi school) in SDN Jenang 02 through the program "Kingdom of the word" literacy-based learning, and PIRLS. The dlaksanakan method in this program includes three stages namely conditioning, removing deprecated, and learning. Conditioning phase done by Kilah (Daily Literacy Activities), the development phase is done with a clip (Pekanan Literacy Activities), clubs (Monthly Literacy Activities), and the Coaster (Manasuka Literacy Activities). Meanwhile, the learning phase is done with the integration of literacy PIRLS in learning that one of his efforts is the development of learning materials Literacy based PIRLS. The results obtained from the program's Kingdom Said is the increased student visits to the school library, increasing circulation of loaning and restoration of books in the school library, cultivate students ' motivation to more optimally utilize and develop a reading corner in the classroom, make a collection of student work in the form of a book of pantun collection, poems, and short stories. While learning programs that integrate Literacy PIRLS generally improve students ' ability in understanding readings so that interest and motivation in literacy activities also increased.

Abstract

One of the internal factors that influence students learning achievement is personality. This research aimed to find a personality type that gives a better influence on the learning achievement of the fourth grade students of elementary schools in Kebumen sub-district in Academic Year 2017/2018. This research is a quantitative research with comparative method. The selected samples were taken by cluster random sampling technique with the help application of SPSS version 21. The number of samples in this research was 320 students in eleven elementary schools in Kebumen sub-district. The method of data were collected by questionnaire technique and by using document. Data were analyzed by using independent sample t test with significance level of 0.05 (5 %). In testing of independent sample t test the value of Sig. was obtained 0.000 < α (0.05), the average learning achievements of introvert students was 81.60, and the average learning achievements of extrovert students was 80,08 which means that rejected H0. Based on the analysis and discussion of research results, it can be concluded that there were significant differences between the learning achievements of introvert students and the learning achievements of students who have extrovert personality and introvert personality types showed a better influence on the learning achievements of the fourth grade students of elementary schools in Kebumen sub-district in Academic Year 2017/2018 that evidenced by the average learning achievements of introvert students is higher than extrovert students.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada abad-21 diperlukan pembelajaran yang inovatif, salah satunya dalam bentuk model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dan Somatic Audio Visual and Intelegency (SAVI). Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis efektifitas model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dan model pembelajaran Somatic Audio Visual and Intelegency (SAVI) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD se-Kecamatan Kutowinangun tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan metode cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai effect size kelas Quantum Teaching dan SAVI pada penelitian ini masing-masing 0,533 dan 0,396 yang merupakan nilai effect size sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Quantum Teaching lebih efektif dibandingkan model SAVI dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar se-Kecamatan Kutowinangun tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching lebih sesuai untuk pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan alam sekitar dibandingkan model pemelajaran SAVI.

Abstract

The study aimed to prove the positive effect of: (1) learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes; (2) independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes; (3) discipline and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes. The study used correlational method. Data analysis used simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that: first, there was positive effect between learning discipline and mathematics learning outcomes (tcount = 4.647> ttable = 1.652 and Sig. 0.000 <0.05). The coefficient of determination was 9%. The regression equation was Y = 1.621 + 0.054X1. Second, there was positive effect between independence in learning and mathematics learning outcomes (tcount = 6.941> ttable = 1.652 and Sig. 0.000 <0.05). The coefficient of determination was 18.1%. The regression equation was Y = -8,167 + 0.084X2. Third, there was positive effect between discipline and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes (Fcount = 24,559> Ftable = 19,491 and Sig. 0,000 <0.05). The coefficient of determination was 18.5%. The regression equation was Y = -9,367 + 0.013X1 + 0.075X2. It concludes that there is positive effect between discipline and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020 simultaneously or separately.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes about solid figures. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. The subjects are the teacher and the fifth grade students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and tests. Data validity uses content validity, technical triangulation, and sources. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicates that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve mathematics learning about solid figures in fifth grade students of SDN 2 Lembupurwo.

Abstract

The implementation of social attitudes in the 2013 curriculum is part of character education having positive impact on academic achievement. The study aimed to prove positive correlation between social attitudes and social sciences learning outcomes and to determine the contribution of social attitudes toward social sciences learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020. The study used a quantitative research design with correlation method. Sampling method was cluster random sampling technique. The result showed that there was positive relationship between social attitudes and social sciences learning outcomes of fourth grade students with low correlation level which was 0.117. The adjusted R square value of social attitudes to social sciences learning outcomes was 1.38%. It concludes that there is a positive correlation between social attitudes and social sciences learning outcomes to fourth grade students of SDN in Kebumen Sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar IPA tentang gaya; (2) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa; (3) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA tentang gaya; dan (4) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar IPA tentang gaya di kelas V. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini merupakan penelitian kolaboratif dilakukan selama tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Kalirejo tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dilakukan dengan langkah orientasi, merumuskan masalah, mengajukan hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, menguji hipotesis, dan merumuskan kesimpulan; (2) penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Kalirejo yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil observasi aktivitas belajar pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I sebesar 67,35%, pada siklus II sebesar 83%, dan pada siklus III sebesar 87,08%; (3) penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tentang gaya siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Kalirejo yang diketahui dari ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 77,08%, pada siklus II sebesar 88%, dan pada siklus III sebesar 96%; (4) Kendala yang dihadapi saat pembelajaran meliputi: (a) jumlah siswa yang cukup banyak menyebabkan guru sulit memberikan pengawasan dan bimbingan yang intensif terhadap siswa; (b) siswa tertentu yang terlibat aktif kegiatan pembelajaran; (c) pembelajaran memerlukan waktu yang lama; (d) beberapa siswa kurang memiliki kesadaran dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok. Solusi dari kendala tersebut yaitu: (a) guru meningkatkan intensitas bimbingan dan pengawasan kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran; (b) guru memberikan motivasi serta kesempatan terbuka kepada semua siswa agar siswa aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran; (c) guru lebih cermat dalam menggunakan waktu pembelajaran; (d) guru membagi tugas kepada siswa dalam kelompok agar seluruh siswa berperan aktif dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok

Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of Teacher Pedagogical Competence in Learning Process of Fifth Grade in Sabdoguno Cluster, Alian Sub-District, Kebumen Regency. The objectives of the study were to analyze teacher pedagogical competence in: (1) learning planning, (2) learning. It was a qualitative research. The data were sentences or researchers narratives about research subjects. Data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The participants were 6 teachers of fifth grade and school principal in the Sabdoguno cluster. Data validity techniques used triangulation of source and triangulation of technique. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentasion, and verification. Teacher pedagogical competence in the learning planning and learning process, were analyzed during learning activities. The study indicates that Teachers pedagogical competence greatly determines the success of the learning to process.The implementation of learning is not separated from the learning to plan prepared by the teacher. Competent teachers can manage learning well and enhance students learning passion and improve learning quality. Keywords : pedagogical competence, teacher, learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan pendekatan ilmiah menggunakan video dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran ilmu sosial, (2) meningkatkan pembelajaran ilmu sosial dengan tema keindahan keanekaragaman di negara saya melalui penerapan pendekatan ilmiah menggunakan video pada siswa kelas empat SD Negeri 4 Kutosari pada Tahun Akademik 2018/2019, dan (3) untuk menggambarkan masalah dan solusi pada penerapan pendekatan ilmiah menggunakan video pada siswa kelas empat SD Negeri 4 Kutosari pada Tahun Akademik 2018 / 2019. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Kutosari. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes dan non-tes. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan sumber. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, tampilan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik menggunakan video dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran sains sosial dengan tema The Beauty of Diversity in My Country pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Kutosari pada tahun akademik 2018/2019.

Abstract

The study aimed to prove positive correlation between independence in learning and mathematics learning outcomes and to determine the contribution of independence in learning to mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Grabag sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020. It was a quantitative research with correlation method. Sampling method was cluster random sampling with Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25. The data collection techniques were questionnaire to obtain independence in learning variable and test to obtain mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis used pearson product moment correlation test with a significance level of 0.05 and used adjusted R square. The results showed that the value of correlation between students' independence in learning and mathematics learning outcomes was 0.339 with p-value = 0,000 (Sig. 0.000 <0.05). The value of adjusted R square was 11,5%. It concludes that there is positive and significant correlation between independence in learning to mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Grabag sub-district.
