Abstract

his study explores the application of quantum computing in solving complex mathematical problems through the utilization of Grover's Algorithm. Grover's Algorithm, renowned for its efficiency in unstructured search, has been adapted for various mathematical applications requiring rapid solution searches within large solution spaces. In this study, we implement Grover's Algorithm on a quantum computing platform to address a range of complex mathematical problems, including nonlinear equations and combinatorial optimization. Experimental results demonstrate that Grover's Algorithm significantly reduces computational time compared to classical methods, highlighting the immense potential of quantum computing in advanced mathematics. These findings pave the way for the development of more sophisticated quantum algorithms and their applications across science, engineering, and technology domains.

Abstract

Currently, technological developments are very rapid, this development has brought significant changes to the role and function of computer technology. Pulmonary Tuberculosis Pelnylakit is an infectious disease caused by the infectious bacterium Mylcobactelrium Tubelculosis. The Mellati Community Health Center is one of the Mellati Community Health Centers which provides early detection services for pulmonary tuberculosis patients in the Pelrbaungan District. Pulmonary Tuberculosis disease at the Melati Community Health Center is limited to four with sixteen symptoms. The programming language that will be used is MySQL database and PHP. With this research, the aim is to create a system with accurate results for pulmonary tuberculosis. This expert system uses the certainty factor method and can be used to solve problems regarding pulmonary tuberculosis in patients well. The final result of the diagnosis is in the form of several questions that will be answered by the patient according to the condition they feel.

Abstract

Students' low critical thinking skills are the main problem in this research. Apart from that, in learning it was found that the textbooks used were less varied and did not direct students to develop their thinking abilities. The learning model that can maximize thinking abilities is Brain Based Learning (BBL) and the learning approach that has clear stages and can be included in textbooks is the scientific approach. The aim of this research is to develop a textbook using the BBL model assisted by a scientific approach in teaching students' critical thinking skills. The development model used is the ADDIE Model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Research instruments include validation sheets, questionnaires and tests. Research data includes product validation data obtained from expert validation, product response data obtained from student response questionnaire results, and students' critical thinking abilities obtained from tests. The data obtained was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The data analysis carried out showed the results of achieving a Validity Mean Percentage Score (PRS) of 84.74 (valid criteria), the practicality of achieving PRS of 80.59 (practical criteria), and achieving PRS effectiveness of 89.31 (effective criteria). The data analysis carried out shows that the product developed meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective and is suitable for use as a textbook. Based on these achievements, the development of textbook products with a brain-based learning model is feasible and good for use in teaching students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This program aims to empower children at the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage, Labuhanbatu Regency, by teaching creative skills in utilizing scrap fabric into products with sales value. In this activity, scrap fabric which is usually considered as textile waste will be processed into products such as scrunchies, hair bands, and bandanas that can provide economic opportunities for children in the orphanage. In addition, this program also aims to increase environmental awareness by teaching the importance of sustainable textile waste management and environmental ethics. This training is complemented by the values ​​of Citizenship Education (PKN), such as social responsibility and mutual cooperation, which aim to shape the character of children who care about the environment and society. It is hoped that through this program, children can develop creative skills, foster a spirit of social entrepreneurship, and play an active role in preserving the environment. This program also opens up opportunities for them to achieve economic independence and contribute to a broader environmental conservation movement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di Pondok Pesantren Darusshilihin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, dengan kelas eksperimen menerapkan model TSTS dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TSTS secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Analisis N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa berada dalam kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Model ini membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika dengan lebih baik melalui diskusi kelompok dan interaksi aktif, sehingga juga melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dan komunikasi. Selain itu, model TSTS berkontribusi terhadap inovasi dalam pembelajaran kooperatif yang lebih dinamis dan efektif. Dengan hasil yang diperoleh, model ini direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika guna meningkatkan kualitas pemecahan masalah siswa serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aktif dan kolaboratif. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inovatif di berbagai jenjang pendidikan.

Abstract

This community outreach activity was carried out with the aim of providing an understanding of Generation Z known as the digital native generation who grew up in the era of technology and information. Despite having wide access to information, this generation faces challenges in civic engagement due to the crisis of national identity and low critical literacy. The population in this study were 25 students of SMK Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. The SMK students still have minimal understanding of Scientific Attitudes and Civic Engagement that grow in the digitalization era and the challenges they face in the future. The use of this socialization is expected to reduce the negative influence of digital ea and the role of Generation Z in facing these challenges. This study aims to provide an understanding and socialization of Scientific Attitudes as an effort to Strengthen Civic Engagement in the younger generation, especially Gen-Z in an effort to form a character based on Science and Pancasila with a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data were obtained through Socialization and interviews with Students of SMK Negeri 2 Rantau Utara, North Antau District, Labuhanbatu Regency using qualitative descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews with vocational high school students and field observations, and supported by related literature studies. The results of the study indicate that Generation Z's lack of understanding of Scientific Attitudes and Civic Engagement in the current digital era. With the support of socialization, technology, and promotion, the understanding of vocational high school students can be further developed as in-depth information as an effort to strengthen Scientific Attitudes and Civic Engagement in the digital era.

Abstract

Besar vektor merupakan salah satu konsep fundamental dalam fisika, matematika, dan ilmu rekayasa. Vektor digunakan untuk menggambarkan besaran yang memiliki dua komponen utama, yaitu besar (magnitude) dan arah (direction), yang membedakannya dari skalar yang hanya memiliki besar tanpa arah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teori dasar vektor, notasi yang digunakan, serta sifat-sifat dasar vektor yang sangat penting dalam berbagai aplikasi ilmiah dan teknis. Konsep dasar vektor seperti penjumlahan vektor, perkalian skalar, dan cross product memiliki aplikasi yang luas dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu, mulai dari analisis gaya dalam mekanika hingga pemrosesan citra dalam komputer grafis. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas tantangan dalam mengajarkan konsep vektor, khususnya dalam hal visualisasi dan pemahaman geometri vektor dalam ruang tiga dimensi.

Abstract

Dalam bidang sains dan teknik, permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan penentuan turunan sering dijumpai dalam berbagai kajian. Namun, tidak semua turunan fungsi dapat diselesaikan secara analitik karena bentuk persamaannya yang kompleks. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan pendekatan numerik untuk memperoleh nilai turunan secara hampiran. Beberapa metode yang umum digunakan dalam penyelesaian turunan numerik antara lain metode beda maju, metode beda mundur, dan metode beda pusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan tingkat keakuratan ketiga metode tersebut dalam menentukan nilai turunan suatu fungsi. Nilai turunan yang diperoleh kemudian dibandingkan dengan nilai turunan eksaknya sehingga dapat diketahui besar kesalahan (error) yang dihasilkan oleh masing-masing metode.

Abstract

Persamaan linier merupakan persamaan aljabar yang setiap sukunya mengandung konstanta atau hasil perkalian konstanta dengan variabel tunggal. Sistem persamaan linier dapat diselesaikan menggunakan metode numerik, yang secara umum dibedakan menjadi metode langsung dan metode iteratif. Metode langsung, yang dikenal sebagai metode eksak, meliputi metode invers dan berbagai teknik dekomposisi matriks, sedangkan metode iteratif menghasilkan solusi melalui proses pendekatan berulang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas penyelesaian persamaan linier secara numerik dengan menggunakan metode iteratif, khususnya metode Jacobi dan metode Gauss–Seidel. Kedua metode tersebut dipilih karena sering digunakan dalam penyelesaian sistem persamaan linier berukuran besar serta memiliki karakteristik konvergensi yang berbeda. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa metode Gauss–Seidel umumnya memiliki tingkat konvergensi yang lebih cepat dibandingkan metode Jacobi.

Abstract

Vektor merupakan salah satu konsep fundamental dalam matematika yang memiliki peranan penting dalam berbagai bidang ilmu pengetahuan, seperti fisika, teknik, ekonomi, dan ilmu terapan lainnya. Vektor digunakan untuk merepresentasikan besaran yang tidak hanya memiliki nilai (magnitudo), tetapi juga arah, sehingga sangat relevan dalam pemodelan berbagai fenomena alam dan permasalahan matematis. Dalam kajian matematika lanjutan, pemahaman mengenai operasi antar vektor dan integral vektor menjadi hal yang sangat penting, karena kedua konsep tersebut merupakan dasar dalam kalkulus vektor. Artikel ini membahas secara sistematis pengertian vektor, jenis-jenis operasi antar vektor, seperti penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian dengan skalar, perkalian titik, dan perkalian silang, serta konsep integral vektor yang meliputi integral garis, integral permukaan, dan integral volume. Selain itu, artikel ini juga menguraikan penerapan operasi dan integral vektor dalam berbagai bidang, khususnya dalam penyelesaian masalah fisika dan teknik, seperti perhitungan kerja, fluks, dan medan gaya. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman konseptual yang lebih mendalam dan terstruktur mengenai operasi vektor dan integral vektor, sehingga dapat membantu mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, dalam memahami materi kalkulus vektor secara teoritis maupun aplikatif. Diharapkan artikel ini dapat menjadi bahan referensi pembelajaran yang bermanfaat serta mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir analitis dan pemecahan masalah dalam matematika.
