Abstract

his study explores the application of quantum computing in solving complex mathematical problems through the utilization of Grover's Algorithm. Grover's Algorithm, renowned for its efficiency in unstructured search, has been adapted for various mathematical applications requiring rapid solution searches within large solution spaces. In this study, we implement Grover's Algorithm on a quantum computing platform to address a range of complex mathematical problems, including nonlinear equations and combinatorial optimization. Experimental results demonstrate that Grover's Algorithm significantly reduces computational time compared to classical methods, highlighting the immense potential of quantum computing in advanced mathematics. These findings pave the way for the development of more sophisticated quantum algorithms and their applications across science, engineering, and technology domains.

Abstract

Currently, technological developments are very rapid, this development has brought significant changes to the role and function of computer technology. Pulmonary Tuberculosis Pelnylakit is an infectious disease caused by the infectious bacterium Mylcobactelrium Tubelculosis. The Mellati Community Health Center is one of the Mellati Community Health Centers which provides early detection services for pulmonary tuberculosis patients in the Pelrbaungan District. Pulmonary Tuberculosis disease at the Melati Community Health Center is limited to four with sixteen symptoms. The programming language that will be used is MySQL database and PHP. With this research, the aim is to create a system with accurate results for pulmonary tuberculosis. This expert system uses the certainty factor method and can be used to solve problems regarding pulmonary tuberculosis in patients well. The final result of the diagnosis is in the form of several questions that will be answered by the patient according to the condition they feel.

Abstract

Students' low critical thinking skills are the main problem in this research. Apart from that, in learning it was found that the textbooks used were less varied and did not direct students to develop their thinking abilities. The learning model that can maximize thinking abilities is Brain Based Learning (BBL) and the learning approach that has clear stages and can be included in textbooks is the scientific approach. The aim of this research is to develop a textbook using the BBL model assisted by a scientific approach in teaching students' critical thinking skills. The development model used is the ADDIE Model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Research instruments include validation sheets, questionnaires and tests. Research data includes product validation data obtained from expert validation, product response data obtained from student response questionnaire results, and students' critical thinking abilities obtained from tests. The data obtained was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The data analysis carried out showed the results of achieving a Validity Mean Percentage Score (PRS) of 84.74 (valid criteria), the practicality of achieving PRS of 80.59 (practical criteria), and achieving PRS effectiveness of 89.31 (effective criteria). The data analysis carried out shows that the product developed meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective and is suitable for use as a textbook. Based on these achievements, the development of textbook products with a brain-based learning model is feasible and good for use in teaching students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This program aims to empower children at the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage, Labuhanbatu Regency, by teaching creative skills in utilizing scrap fabric into products with sales value. In this activity, scrap fabric which is usually considered as textile waste will be processed into products such as scrunchies, hair bands, and bandanas that can provide economic opportunities for children in the orphanage. In addition, this program also aims to increase environmental awareness by teaching the importance of sustainable textile waste management and environmental ethics. This training is complemented by the values ​​of Citizenship Education (PKN), such as social responsibility and mutual cooperation, which aim to shape the character of children who care about the environment and society. It is hoped that through this program, children can develop creative skills, foster a spirit of social entrepreneurship, and play an active role in preserving the environment. This program also opens up opportunities for them to achieve economic independence and contribute to a broader environmental conservation movement.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah segala sesuatu yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan, perubahan, dan kondisi setiap manusia. Perubahan yang terjadi merupakan pengembangan potensi siswa, termasuk pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap dalam kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran campuran terhadap keterampilan manajemen waktu dan motivasi belajar siswa, baik secara positif maupun negatif, serta untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangannya dalam meningkatkan kedua aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods), dengan pendekatan kuantitatif berupa kuasi eksperimen dan didukung oleh metode kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung untuk menggali persepsi siswa dan guru mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran campuran, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung maupun penghambat dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kuantitatif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran campuran secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan manajemen waktu dan motivasi belajar matematika siswa, terlihat dari rata-rata peningkatan skor pretes ke postes sebesar 15,08 poin pada kelompok eksperimen. Selain itu, hasil Uji-t Sampel Independen menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan kelompok pembelajaran campuran menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi. Hasil analisis kualitatif memperkuat temuan ini, di mana sebagian besar siswa merasa lebih termotivasi dan terbantu dalam mengatur waktu belajar, meskipun masih menghadapi kendala seperti terbatasnya akses teknologi dan rendahnya disiplin belajar. Dengan demikian, efektivitas pembelajaran campuran di SMP N5 Satu Atap Sei Kanan membutuhkan dukungan infrastruktur dan bimbingan belajar mandiri yang lebih intensif.

Abstract

Pengembangan penalaran logis realistik matematis merupakan suatu proses pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis, analitis, dan kritis melalui pendekatan matematika yang relevan dengan kehidupan nyata. Kemampuan ini menjadi salah satu keterampilan penting abad ke-21 yang harus dimiliki siswa agar mampu memecahkan masalah secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang terlihat dari hasil belajar dan kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yakni siklus I dan siklus II. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX-1 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas lembar observasi keterlibatan siswa, angket motivasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran interaktif secara bertahap terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan skor observasi keterlibatan siswa pada setiap pertemuan, hasil angket motivasi yang menunjukkan kategori tinggi dan konsisten, serta peningkatan signifikan nilai posttest dari siklus I ke siklus II. Seluruh siswa berhasil mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran interaktif berbasis konteks realistik mampu meningkatkan penalaran logis matematis siswa secara optimal.
