Abstract

Media Komputer Pembelajaran adalah media yang menggunakan teknologi berbasis komputer. Penggunaan media ini dalam proses pembelajaran dapat memotivasi siswa dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan. Pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa dengan pokok bahasan Aksara Jawa, siswa dituntut untuk mampu menguasai materi yakni dengan kompetensi dasar berupa membaca serta menulis aksara Jawa dengan baik dan benar. Dengan banyaknya konsep yang harus diserap serta proses pembelajaran yang digunakan masih bersifat klasikal sehingga menyebabkan siswa bosan dengan pembelajaran dikelas serta guru harus seringkali mengulangi materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu media pembelajaran Interaktif Aksara Jawa bagi Sekolah Menengah Pertama, agar dapat membantu para pengajar untuk bisa lebih mudah dan efektif dalam melakukan proses mengajar selain itu dapat digunakan sebagai sarana belajar sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, kepustakaan, perancangan, pembuatan, uji coba dan implementasi. Penelitian ini dapat membantu dalam proses belajar mengajar dan dapat menambah referensi baru pembelajaran aksara jawa bagi Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran yang dibuat ini cukup bermanfaat dalam melakukan proses belajar.

Abstract

Thermoluminescence response of TLD CaSO4: Dy with a variation of the addition of SiO2 and PTFE materials has been observed. TLD CaSO4:Dy derived through co-precipitation method and then added by SiO2 and PTFE. Thermoluminescence intensity for CaSO4:Dy added by SiO2 obtained 9.41, 5.32; and 13.93 nC for the temperature at 400 °C, 600 °C and 700 °C. As for CaSO4:Dy with the addition of PTFE obtained 33.10;  336.89; and 1191.11 nC for the temperature at 400 oC temperature, 600 °C and 700 °C. Thermoluminscence intensity for CaSO4:Dy without the addition of SiO2 and PTFE at a temperature of 700 °C is 75.15 nC. There’s a significant increasing in the thermoluminescence intensity on CaSO4:Dy added by PTFE.

Abstract

Several technologies are currently being applied in the maritime industry to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. An example is the implementation of an electric propulsion system with a battery charged using a renewable energy source. Meanwhile, it is important to analyze the energy demand and the quantity of emissions reduced in a vessel after installing this system. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the energy demand and emissions produced on fishing boats, specifically the “Sandeq” fishing boats in West Sulawesi. The primary objective was to quantify the carbon dioxide emissions reduced after the conventional engine of the vessel was replaced with an electric propulsion system. Moreover, the energy demand of the boat was estimated by analyzing the daily speed, length of voyage, and engine capacity. The results showed that six batteries were required to provide the power needed for daily operation. Furthermore, the electric propulsion system was able to reduce CO2 emission by 7.94 tons annually per ship, leading to the reduction of fuel consumption and emission taxes to approximately 10 million Rupiah annually. These results were expected to encourage stakeholders to promote the transition from conventional diesel engines to electric-powered engines.

Abstract

Local fish species from the waters of South Kalimantan that are a source of protein and high in albumin are cork fish and toman fish. In an effort to increase the value added and consumption of both fish, it is necessary to diversify the product, for example by processing them into fish emping. Emping is a type of round and thin snack generally made from melinjo seeds, which are flaked, dried and then fried.  The aim of this study was to determine the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of cork and toman fish emping. This study consisted of 2 treatments, namely the cork fish puff and the toman fish puff. To determine the difference between the two treatments, data analysis was carried out using independent t-test with test parameters including yield calculation, hedonic test (taste, colour, aroma and texture) and chemical test (water, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, energy, TKE and TKP). Based on the results of the t-test, it is known that the organoleptic characteristics of the two empings show a significant difference, with the cork emping being more favourable than the toman emping. The chemical characteristics did not show any significant difference. In conclusion, the yield characteristics, moisture content, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, energy, energy sufficiency level (TKE) and protein sufficiency level (TKP) of cork fish cake were 4.07%, 66.66%, 2.67%, 7.22%, 0.95%, 319.52 kcal, 20.97% and 202.00% respectively with a yield of 10.10%. For toman, the values were 19.29%, 4.31%, 66.89%, 2.55%, 6.96%, 1.02%, 318.37 kcal, 20.54% and 202.69% with a yield of 10.83%. Thus, both cork and toman fish cake are high protein products.

Abstract

Memandikan bayi memiliki tantangan tersendiri bagi para orang tua terutama bila mereka baru pertama kali memiliki bayi. Mandi selain membersihkan tubuh bayi juga merupakan saat yang tepat untuk mencurahkan kasih sayang orang tua kepada anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi ketrampilan dan sikap ibu nifas tentang memandikan bayi usia 0-14 hari di Kelurahan Pojok Kota Kediri Tahun 2023. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, besar sampel 23 orang dengan metode pengambilan sampel total sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama bulan September 2023. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner pendidikan kesehatan dan ketrampilan ibu nifas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan mayoritas ibu nifas cukup mengerti tentang pendidikan kesehatan serta cukup terampil dalam memandikan bayinya. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan agar tenaga kesehatan lebih meningkatkan konseling dan penatalaksanaan kepada ibu nifas tentang memandikan bayi usia 0-14 hari. Abstract

Food is a basic need that must be fulfilled before other needs, such as clothing, shelter, and education. This study aims to analyze the impact of family income on the food consumption patterns of society, specifically how income affects access to and the quality of food consumption. Through a literature review, this study examines various previous studies on the factors influencing food consumption patterns. The findings show that family income significantly affects food consumption patterns. Families with higher income tend to consume more nutritious and diverse food, while low-income families are more limited in choosing nutritious food, which may negatively impact their health. These findings highlight the importance of income increase in improving food consumption patterns. This study also aims to provide strategic recommendations for improving access to quality food for low-income families. By integrating previous findings, this research is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in developing programs that support food security and the improvement of the nutritional quality of society, contributing to the future welfare development of the community.

Abstract

The characteristics of albumin extract with a distinct fish aroma are less preferred by some people. To improve the acceptance of fish albumin extract, it is added to carrier foods such as ice cream. This study aims to evaluate the panelists' acceptance of ice cream with the addition of snakehead fish albumin extract. The research stages are: (1) extraction of snakehead fish albumin and (2) ice cream processing with the addition of snakehead fish albumin extract at concentrations of 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% of the total water content (300 ml). A hedonic test was analyzed using the sign test to determine the level of preference for the ice cream. The results showed that the addition of snakehead fish albumin extract significantly affected the color and aroma, but did not significantly affect the texture and taste of the ice cream. The conclusion indicates that ice cream with up to 6% snakehead fish albumin extract can be accepted by the panelists, with color (5.2), texture (5.8), aroma (5.9), and taste (6.2), all meeting the "like" criteria. The suggestion for future research is to investigate the chemical quality of ice cream with the addition of snakehead fish albumin extract.

Abstract

This research was conducted because in Javanese language learning in grade 3 of elementaryschool, many teachers still have difficulty finding the right way to apply “unggah ungguh basa” to students.Therefore, the formulation of the problem taken is how elementary school teachers' efforts in applying“unggah ungguh basa” in Javanese language subjects for grade 3 of SDN Beji 02, East Ungaran, SemarangRegency. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms of elementary school teachers' efforts inapplying “unggah ungguh basa” in Javanese language subjects for grade 3 of SDN Beji 02. This type ofresearch is qualitative descriptive research. The sources of research data are class teachers and students ofgrade 3 of SDN Beji 02 with research data in the form of observation results, interviews and documentationconducted by class teachers and students of grade 3 of SDN Beji 02. The analysis techniques used are datareduction, presentation and conclusion. After analyzing the data, the researcher found several researchresults as follows: 1) providing an explanation of knowledge about “unggah ungguh basa” in a fun way; 2)inviting students to get used to using Javanese according to “unggah ungguh basa” when communicatingdaily, especially in Javanese language learning; 3) Often conducting Q&A with students using politelanguage; 4) being a role model for students on how to behave well; 5) using Javanese as the language ofinstruction in Javanese language learning.Keywords: unggah ungguh basa, Javanese language, elementary school, teacher’s effort

Abstract

In 2023, the independent curriculum will begin to be implemented in schools. Even though in its implementation there are still many obstacles. The Ministry of Education and Culture issued a policy regarding the use of the independent teaching platform (PMM) as a means that can support and facilitate teachers in preparing to implement the independent curriculum. This research aims to determine the effect of using the independent teaching platform (PMM) on teacher readiness in implementing the independent curriculum in the Gatot Subroto cluster environment, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency.The research method used is quantitative research with a survey research design. The population of this research is all class teachers and subject teachers in schools that are members of the Gatot Subroto Korwilcam cluster for Education in East Ungaran District, totaling 68 people. The sample was selected by purposive sampling with a sample size of 24 teachers. This research was conducted in May 2023 in the Gatot Subroto cluster, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The results of the simultaneous correlation calculation were 2.389, with a significance level of 0.05 and 0.136, indicating that there was no significant influence in the use of the independent teaching platform (PMM) on teacher readiness in implementing the independent curriculum.Keywords: Independent Teaching Platform (PMM), Implementation of the Independent Curriculum
