Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of advertising bill- board and videotron conductedby PT Indonesia Villajaya. The technique of collecting data using interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Methods of  data  analysis  used  in  this  study  views  from  four  dimensions  EPIC  ie Empathy, Persuasion, Impact and Communication.  Results the showed that (1) the design of advertising conducted by PT Indonesia Villajaya overall prefer the products they sell and every word and sentence in the ad uses simple words that is easily understood by the consumer (2) advertising billboard and video- tron used by PT Indonesia Villajaya been effective (3) on aadvertising bill- board the most effective dimension is empathy and the dimensions of the ad videotron is most effective impact (4) billboard advertising is more effective than advertising videotron. The implications of these results for the company to determine the effectiveness of advertising that has been done mainly on advertising billboard and videotron. With this research to know whether the purpose of advertising can be achieved and done well. Keywords : Empathy, Communication, Impact, Persuasion

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the problem of equal employment opportunity based on gender and level of education and level of work and the majors are required. This research is an explanatory research. The subject of this research is a newspaper that published a job ad in the year 2015-2016. Purposive sampling technique is used by the researcher to obtain the sample. Data analyses used is descriptive analysis. The result showed that in 66% of them include gender as one of the required qualifications. 40% male, 60% female. In this research missed the fact that job advertisements in Batam tends to favor a particular gender. For the characteristics of the level of work required for a particular gender, were classified as medium there are 55% and 61% is low gender to female. And for courses that required accounting majors there are 54% female. The next research there are 74% include the level of education as one of the required qualifications. In this research missed the fact that job advertisements in Batam tends to favor a certain level of education. For the characteristics of the level of work required for a certain level of education, which is classified as medium there are 45% D3 and 89% senior high school relatively low. And for the department there are 16% of the required accounting majors at the level of senior high school.

Abstract

This study tried to analyze the company's stock performance comparison of manufacturing company with Islamic index and conventional index listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2011 -2015. Companies are grouped into manufacturing companies with Islamic index and conventional index. The analysis was performed by calculating the stock returns and Sharpe index then compares the results using independent sample t-test in SPSS version 20. The calculation of returns showed that conventional manufacturing company has a better performance based on the average return every year. But according to Sharpe index value, manufacturing company with Islamic index has a smaller risk and arguably better ensure security even with smaller return. T-test result stated there was no significant difference to the stock performance of manufacturing companies with Islamic index and conventional index.

Abstract

To be a successful investor, learning fundamental analysis is the first step in selecting stocks. Therefore, the author hopes this article can describe the implementation of fundamental analysis on a stock in a practical and comprehensive manner using the research style of the Burkenroad Reports that has been wellknown to the world for the quality of the report, the well-performed track record, and the independent opinion. The research method applied in this study is a case study on Bristow Group Inc. whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Research on Bristow started from August 2012 to February 2013 using interviews, field survey and literature review. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. Linear regressionmethod is used to project the company's revenue and time series method is used to predict the growth of the company's assets. Fundamental analysis consists of economic analysis, industry analysis, and analysis of the company, followed by a comparative analysis. Industrial analysis used is Porter's five forces analysis and risk analysis of the industry. The valuation of the company uses discounted cash flow method, the relative value comparison methods, and dividends model. In addition to the three above analysis, this research also collects comparative analysis through the analysis of Ben Graham, Altman, investor composition analysis, and recommendations from other stock analysts. Based on the fundamental analysis, the author predicted price increase to $ 54 from the current price of $ 49.48. The author suggests to hold Bristow shares at the end of the study period for stocks are predicted to rise in the next year with growth rate of less than 20 percent

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of credit analysis toward the quality of mortgage financing in PT XYZ Branch Office Batam. This study used a descriptive approach and using secondary data obtained from the consumer unit. The research sample totaled 275 data. The collected data are then analyzed statistically by analysis of correlation Kendall tau and Spearman rho using SPSS version 20.00. The results showed that (1) There is no relationship between capacity aspects of the quality of financing (2) There is a relationship between collateral aspects of the quality of financing (3) There was no relationship between aspects of the character of the quality of financing. The aspect ratio of principal loan collateral or the value of the collateral is a variable that has more ties to the positive direction of the quality of financing in this study.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the estimated cost of production to the selling price, and want to know the suitability costing companies with existing theories. Data were collected from PT Multi Karya Bajatama by sampling method, totals of samples used were 169, data were collected from June to December 2014. This study uses panel data analysis with the model common effect and fixed effect. The study found that the cost of production significantly influence the selling price. Having compared the way costing companies with existing theory, getting the less fit. Researchers suggest, should the company change the calculation of the estimated cost of production.

Abstract

This aims of the study is determine the relationship between corporate social responsibility on corporate financial performance (empirical studies on PT. Citra Tubindo Tbk and PT. Sat Nusapersada Tbk in 2010-2014). The financial performance is measured by using a Return on Assets (ROA). This study uses a qualitative approach to data analysis using descriptive analysis and Scatterplott (scatter diagram). The data used are secondary data to analyze the data in the form of annual reports. The results of this study indicate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has variety relationship to the Return on Assets (ROA).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of stress at work and working motivation on the productivity at the PT Epson Batam. This study had used Explanatory research as main method and Area Sampling as sampling method. Sample were taken as a part from the population that is one hundred employees. Data were taken by using list of question. Data were analyzed by using Regression Method and through SPSS 20. The result of the study have shown that stress at work and working motivation significantly influence the employee’s working productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between items in the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to profitability The company measured through Return On Assets and Net Profit Margin. Data analysis method used in this research is data panel regression. Data used in this research is secondary data by analyzing annual report and company financial report in 2014 and 2015. The result of research indicate that there is only one item of CSR that have significant influence Against Return On Assets (ROA) is an indicator of social society. While for the NPM variable there are only environmental performance indicators that have a significant influence on Net Profit Margin (NPM).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari : (1) ekpor nasional terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd, (2) impor nasional terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd, (3) ekspor kota Batam terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd, dan (4) impor kota Batam terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan sumber data berasal dari data sekunder dan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Pemilihan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dianggap tepat sebagai alat untuk mengolah data berupa time series seperti data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ekpor nasional memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd, (2) impor nasional memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd, (3) ekspor kota Batam memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd, (4) ekspor impor nasional dan kota Batam, secara bersama sama memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai tukar usd dan sgd.
