Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dalam mengembangkan alat evaluasi berorientasi HOTS (Higher Order Thingking Skills) pada pembelajaran IPA materi keseimbangan dan pelestarian sumber daya alam berkarakter konservasi di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model four-D (4-D) dengan beberapa tahap yakni (1) pendefinisian (Define), (2) Perancangan (Design), (3) Pengembangan (Develop) dan (4) Penyebaran (Disseminate), akan tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan yaitu tahap validitas. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari instrument wawancara dan instrument validasi. Teknis analisis data menggunakan lembar penilaian validator ahli didukung rumus perhitungan setiap aspek yang dinilai. Hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan presentase rata-rata sebesar 92,4% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil validasi ahli alat evaluasi mendapatkan presentasi rata-rata sebesar 90,4% dengan kategori sangat layak. Validasi praktisi/guru memperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 95,2% dengan kategori sangat layak. Validitas dari hasil validasi ahli memperoleh soal uraian dan pilihan ganda sebanyak 90 nomor soal. Disimpulkan bahwa alat evaluasi berorientasi HOTS yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi dalam pembelajaran IPA materi keseimbangan dan pelestarian sumber daya alam. Abstract. The research objective is to determine the validity of developed HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills)-oriented evaluation tools in the natural sciences learning in material of stability and sustainability of natural resources concentrating on conservation character at Grade IV of Elementary Schools. It applies a research and development method with a Four-D (4-D) model consisting of several phases, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop and (4) Disseminate. However, this research is limited to the development stage or validity phase in particular. Furthermore, the instruments used in this research are interviews and validation. The data analysis technique is the expert validator assessment sheet supported by a calculation formula for each assessed aspect. The validation results from material experts obtain an average percentage of 92.4% with a very decent category. The validation results from media experts indicate that evaluation tools gain an average percentage of 90.4% with a very decent category. Likewise, the validation results from practitioner/teacher gain an average percentage of 95.2% with a very decent category. Additionally, the expert validation results obtain essay and multiple-choice questions as many as 90 questions. In brief, the developed HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills)-oriented evaluation tools are feasible to be used as an evaluation tool in the natural science learning, material of stability, and sustainability of natural resources.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui kevalidan e-book berorientasi HOTS pada materi Selamatkan Makhluk Hidup berkarakter konservasi di kelas VI SD, (2) Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan e-book berorientasi HOTS pada materi Selamatkan Makhluk Hidup berkarakter konservasi di kelas VI SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Four-D (4D). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VI SD Negeri 6 Kabila Bone dan SD Negeri 1 Ponelo tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan respon berupa angket, teknis analisisnya menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-book berorientasi HOTS yang dihasilkan memenenuhi standar kelayakan, hal ini dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli materi yang memperoleh persentase tiap aspek yaitu 96%, 97.5%, 90%, dan 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase tiap aspek yaitu 96,67%, 100%, 100%, dan 93.3% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Selain itu, standar kelayakan dari e-book berorientasi HOTS ini diperkuat dari hasil uji coba produk kepada guru dan peserta didik yang memberikan respon positif terhadap e-book berorientasi HOTS ini. Dengan demikian e-book berorientasi HOTS pada pembelajaran IPA materi Selamatkan Makhluk Hidup berkarakter konservasi di kelas VI SD ini layak dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Abstract. this study aims to: (1) determine the validity of the HOTS-oriented e-book on the material of Save Living Creatures with conservation characteristics in sixth-grade students of elementary school, and (2) determine the practicality of the HOTS-oriented e-book on the material of Save Living Creatures with conservation characteristics in sixth-grade students of elementary school. This research utilized development research with the Four-D (4D) development model. The subjects of this study were students of the sixth- grade class of SDN 6 Kabila Bone and SDN 1 Ponelo in the academic year of 2020/2021. The data collection instrument utilized a validation sheet, and the response was in the form of a questionnaire, then the technical analysis adopted a Likert scale. The findings indicated that the HOTS- oriented e-book fulfis the eligibility standards. It is proven by the results of material expert validation which obtained the percentage of each aspect of 96%, 97.5%, 90%, and 100% with excellent criteria. Besides, the results of media expert validation obtained the percentage of each aspect that is 96.67%, 100%, 100%, and 93.3%, which is also in excellent criteria. In addition, the feasibility standard of this HOTS-oriented e-book was strengthened by the results of product trials for teachers and students who gave a positive response to this HOTS-oriented e-book. Thus, the HOTS- oriented e-book on science learning in material of Save Living Creatures with conservation characteristics in class VI SD is feasible and usable in the learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of scientific literacy skills of stutends on ecosystem learning material in Boalemo Regency Junior High School. The research applied a survey research type with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study are 2 classes of 8th grade of SMP N 2 Dulupi with 42 students, A class of 8th grade SMP 8 Satap Dulupi with 26 students, and 5 classes of 8th grade of SMP N 1 Tilamuta with 120 students. The total samples amounted o 188 students. The sampling technique used random sampling. The research sample consisted of 60 students, consisting of 20 grade 8 students at SMPN 2 Dulupi, 20 grade 8 students at SMP 8 satap Dulupi, and 20 grade 8 students SMPN 1 Tilamuta. The instrument used is a question of students scientific literacy, which consists of 17 questions. The research data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of scientific literacy skills of students in Boalemo Regency Junior High School s was 54.4, which was in th “low” category. The scientific literacy level of students on multiple choice questions has an average score of 57.85 at SMP N 1 Tilamuta, 53.57 at SMP N 2 Dulupi, and 51.78 at SMP 8 Satap Dulupi. On the question of attitude assessment, the average score was 56.67 at SMP N 1 Tilamuta, 62.08 at SMP N 2 Dulupi, and 60.83 at SMP 8 Satap Dulupi.

Abstract

Mangroves are plants that grow along the coast and have supporting roots. Mangrove ecosystems in addition to protecting the coast from waves and wind are also suitable areas for marine fauna life. One of the fauna found in mangrove ecosystems is the spadefish. Skinks often shelter near the bodies of crabs in order to make it easier for the fish to find food and stay protected from predators. The attachment relationship between these two species growing in the same environment is called association. This study aims to determine the association of silverfish with crabs in the mangrove ecosystem of Tabongo Village, Dulupi District, Boalemo Regency. The study showed that there were 2 species of silverfish and 3 species of crabs, namely Periopthalmus argentilineatus, Periopthalmus malaccensis, Scylla paramamosain, Uca perplexa, and Uca sp. There are 2 types of associations, namely positive associations and negative associations. Positive association with the highest value was found in the pair Periopthalmus argentilineatus with Uca perplexa with a value of 0.37. While the negative association with the lowest value is found in the pair Peripthalmus malaccensis with Uca.

Abstract

A forest is a unified ecosystem in the form of an expanse of land containing biological natural resources. It is dominated by trees in one natural environment and another so that they cannot be separated. Forests play an important role in maintaining the balance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Their plants can absorb carbon dioxide from the air during the photosynthesis process so they play an important role in maintaining climate balance. The Maleo Hungayono Sanctuary is a place for endemic animals including forests in the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park area which cannot produce wood, so what will be the strength of the economic value of the TNBNW area is environmental services, including carbon. This research aims to determine the potential for carbon uptake in the Maleo Hungayono Sanctuary, Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park Area. The research results show that the highest biomass value at the research location is at the tree level with a total carbon uptake of 16,588.26 tons/ha; at pole level with total carbon uptake of 722.65 tonnes/ha; at the sapling level with a total carbon uptake of 63.91 tonnes/ha.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research that aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model on biology learning outcomes of SMA N 1 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo on ecosystem material with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population in this study consisted of three classes, namely class X MIPA 1 with a total of 20 students and X MIPA 19 with a total of 30 students as an experimental class and class X IPS 1 with a total of 14 students as a control class. The research variable consists of the independent variable, namely the use of Number Head Together (NHT), while the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. Data collection was carried out through pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the average post-test learning outcomes for students in class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2 as an experimental class taught using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model, obtained an average result of 74.92, while the results the average learning obtained by students of class X IPS 1 as a control class taught using the conventional model is 51.12. Furthermore, the control class experienced an increase in student graduation by 21%, while the experimental class experienced an increase in student graduation by 64%, which means that the value of student learning outcomes increased more than threefold with the treatment of using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model, especially in the experimental class.

Abstract

Dusun Tumba merupakan salah satu wilayah penyangga Suaka Margasatwa Nantu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis serangga tanah di kawasan agroekosistem dusun Tumba, desa Tamaila Utara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei 2023 dengan menggunakan 2 stasiun penelitian, dengan 3 titik pengamatan untuk setiap stasiun. Serangga tanah dikumpulkan dengan perangkap lubang. Data serangga selanjutnya diidentifikasi dan dianalisis untuk memperoleh data indeks keanekaragaman serangga tanah. Hasil penelitian menemukan 11 taksa serangga tanah yakni Gryllus bimaculatus, Dolichiderus, Solenopsis, Coptotermes, Spodoptera, Nysius, Bolboceras, Halyomorpha, Velleius, dan Pyrophorus . Nilai indeks keanekaragaman sebesar 1,964 dengan kategori sedang

Abstract

This study aims to develop erfina game as ecosystem learning media and to know and describe the results of expert validation, teacher responses, student responses and student learning outcomes of the developed media. This research uses the research and development method (Research & Development). The model used in this research is ADDIE consisting of 3 stages, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The trial was conducted on 10 students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 02 Satu Atap Suwawa Selatan. The results of the study found: (1) validity test based on the percentage of media validation of 85% (Very Valid) and material expert validation obtained a percentage of 87% (Very Valid). (2) Practicality test based on teacher response results obtained a percentage of 91% (Very Practical) and the results of students' responses of 93% (Very Practical). (3) Student learning outcomes test obtained from the results of student learning tests through Preetest and Posttest evaluations, based on the N-Gain scale obtained a value of 0.53 or 53% which is included in the moderate category

Abstract

Salah satu upaya pengelolaan dalam bidang pendidikan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencetak SDM yang berkualitas yaitu dengan membiasakan membentuk budaya berpikir tingkat tinggi pada siswa dalam proses pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan tingkat keefektifan model discovery learning dan model contextual teaching and learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi exsperimental). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah postest only with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis berbentuk essay. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni uji t-test. Hasil penelitian pada kelas yang menerapkan model discovery learning menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi sebelum perlakuan menunjukkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 28,17 dan setelah perlakuan menunjukkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 84,34. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan atau dapat dikatakan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi setelah diterapkan model discovery learning. Pada kelas yang menerapkan model contextual teaching and learning menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada saat sebelum perlakuan yang menunjukkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 22,06 dan setelah perlakuan menunjukkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 73,35 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi setelah diterapkan model contextual teaching and learning. Berdasarkan kedua fakta tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua model pembelajaran ini efektif.

Abstract

Serangga air merupakan salah satu organisme akuatik yang peka terhadap keadaan lingkungannya. Serangga air merupakan salah satu organisme indikator yang sangat bergantung terhadap kondisi lingkungannya dengan cara mendeteksi suatu perairan yang sudah tercemar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi serangga air pada kanal Tamalate dan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan kekayaan spesies serangga air pada kanal Tamalate. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tiga stasiun dan masing-masing stasiun ditentukan tiga titik pengambilan sampel. Sampel yang diperoleh diawetkan dengan alkohol 70%, kemudian diidentifikasi. Dari tiga stasiun, serangga air yang ditemukan di kanal Tamalate meliputi enam spesies dari dua ordo, yaitu Ordo Hemiptera terdiri dari spesies Gerridae sp.1 (49 individu) dan Gerridae sp.2 (47 individu) serta Ordo Odonata yang terdiri dari Pseudagrion sp.1 (23 individu), Pseudagrion pilidorsum (11 individu), Pseudagrion sp. 2 (24 individu) dan Ischnura senegalensis (39 individu). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai indeks keanekaragaman serangga air di kanal Tamalate sebesar 1,684 dan termasuk dalam kategori keanekaragaman sedang. Indeks kekayaan jenis serangga air di kanal Tamalate tertinggi, yaitu pada spesies Pseudagrion sp.1 (2,00) dan terendah pada spesies Gerridae sp. 1 (1,28).
