Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between digital parenting and the intensity of using gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Pekanbaru City. The type of research used is correlation research. The population and research sample are 88 parents. The steps taken in this comparative research are: identifying potentials and problems, gathering information, determining data collection methods, data collection, data analysis, and concluding data. Data collection techniques in this study are by means of questionnaires and documents. The data analysis technique used for this research is the chi square method. Based on calculations from several tests conducted, it provides scientific evidence that there is a relationship between digital parenting and the intensity of using gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers regarding the measurement ability of children aged 5-6 years at Two M Kid's Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, they tend to experience difficulties, so the researcher aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and measurement ability in children. The type of research carried out was quantitative correlation, using a saturated sampling technique. So, the entire population, namely children in Two M Kid's Kindergarten aged 5-6 years, totaling 45 children were used as samples. This research uses observation sheets to collect data. Data analysis uses product moment correlation analysis and t test with SPSS ver 25. The results of the correlation relationship show a sig value of 0.00 so the sig value is smaller than 0.05 so it is said to be correlated. Meanwhile, the Pearson correlation value is 0.655, included in the interval 0.60-0.799 with a strong level of relationship. It is known that the t tabel has a value of 2.0180 with t hitung calculated of 5.87, thus there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and the measuring ability of children aged 5-6 years at Two M Kid's Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Flood Disaster application to increase knowledge of flood disaster mitigation in children aged 5-6 years in One Roof 021 Kindergarten, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The type of research used is RND (Research and Developmet) research with quantitative methods. The steps used are six stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the study obtained media expert validation of 93.53%, material expert validation of 91% and educator experts of 91.86% with a very feasible category. The results of the limited trial conducted were obtained at 86% with the Very Feasible category. From the results of the study, it is concluded that the Flood Disaster application is feasible to use as a medium to increase knowledge of flood disaster mitigation in children aged 5-6 years in One Roof Kindergarten 021 Indragiri Hilir Regency.

Abstract

Early childhood is a group of children who are in a unique growth and development process. The ability to recognize numbers is part of mathematics which can develop children's cognitive abilities. The ability to recognize numbers in children is very important to develop, because it can be used in children's daily lives. Through the ability to recognize number symbols, it is hoped that it can improve children's cognitive abilities from an early age so that they develop strong mathematical foundations. The aim of this research is to determine the self-concept and abilities of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Pembina 1 Pekanbaru City. correlational research with quantitative methods which aims to investigate the extent to which variation in one variable is related to variation and the population in this study was 140 children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Pembina 1 Pekanbaru City and used problem solving samples. The results of the research show that self-concept has an influence of 33.8% on children's ability to recognize number symbols. This situation provides information that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and the ability to recognize number symbols. So it can be concluded that the relationship between self-concept and the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru City is in the Good category, seen from the ability of children who can assess themselves according to their physical condition, can calculate the sequence of numbers from 1-10.
