Abstract

Ketika kehadiran burung predator turut diikutsertakan, model berubah cukup drastis.

Abstract

Abstract. In the context of 21st-century education challenges, literacy and numeracy remain foundational competencies for high school students, yet global assessments consistently reveal significant gaps in these skills. This systematic review aims to identify and analyze evidence-based strategies for improving literacy and numeracy among senior high school students. The review synthesizes findings from 15 empirical studies published between 2019-2024 sourced from Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar using keywords such as 'literacy numeracy improvement,' 'senior school students,' and 'educational strategies.' Data were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach of qualitative and quantitative studies. The findings highlight four effective approaches: (1) technology-enhanced learning (adaptive platforms), (2) contextualized pedagogy (such as project-based learning), (3) targeted teacher training, and (4) cross-curricular integration. These four strategies were shown to provide measurable improvements to student learning outcomes. The study concludes that a multifaceted, evidence-driven approach, combining these strategies with multidisciplinary collaboration is essential for meaningful and sustainable progress in addressing literacy-numeracy deficits, particularly when adapted to local educational contexts. Keywords: Literacy, numeracy, senior high school students

Abstract

Ḥadīth and Sirah Nabawiyyah are two things that many people think are same, but actually they are two different things. ḥādīth is certainly part of the Sirah, but the Sirah is not necessarily part of the ḥādīth. ḥādīth is the main reference source of Sirah, while Sirah is one way to understand ḥādīth. Even though different, both have an equally important role in shaping and influencing Islamic law. This study will focus on the discussion of Sirah, precisely about the history of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. A prophet who was sent by Allah as the last prophet whose birth was accompanied by many great events that contained various lessons. In this paper, the author uses a qualitative method with descriptive-explanative analysis through a historical approach. All the events described, both when the Arabs before knowing Islam until the arrival of the Prophet have a close relationship with one another. Allah has planned it neatly and sequentially

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to enhance the critical thinking skills of Grade IV students at Kebonsari 3 State Primary School in Malang City through the implementation of a combined Team Games Tournament method and Discovery Learning model, supported by Pancasila Smart interactive media. Pancasila Smart interactive media is a digital, quiz-based platform that incorporates the values of Pancasila and is designed to stimulate discussion, problem-solving, and decision-making in Pancasila and Civic Education learning. The research was conducted in three cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and tests, and were analyzed using the normalized gain formula to measure the effectiveness of improvements in learning outcomes between cycles relative to the maximum possible achievement. The findings revealed a consistent improvement in students’ critical thinking skills from the pre-cycle phase through cycles I, II, and III, with both average scores and normalized gain values increasing steadily across cycles. These results indicate that integrating the Team Games Tournament method and the Discovery Learning model, facilitated by Pancasila Smart interactive media, has strong potential to develop the critical thinking skills of primary school students. The practical implication of this study highlights the importance of incorporating educational game-based learning strategies with guided discovery approaches in Pancasila and Civic Education to strengthen the twenty-first-century competencies of primary school learners.
