Abstract

ABSTRACTLow use of herbal plants used as health products to prevent stunting in Legok Village. To provide knowledge about herbal plants and their use as health products with high selling value. Activities use socialization and training methods in accordance with the guidelines in the Herbal Medicine Gallery pocket book. This service is carried out for 3 months. Socialization of herbal plants and training in making processed herbal plant products have been carried out. This community service has been going well through training activities so that the community can make these processed products.Keywords: community, herbal plants, processed products, herbal medicine gallery ABSTRAKRendahnya pemanfaatan tanaman herbal yang dijadikan produk kesehatan sebagai pencegahan stunting di Kelurahan Legok. Untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai tanaman herbal dan pemanfaatan sebagai produk kesehatan yang bernilai jual tinggi. Kegiatan menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan sesuai dengan panduan pada buku saku Galeri Obat Herbal. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan. Telah dilaksanakan sosialisasi tanaman herbal dan pelatihan pembuatan produk olahan tanaman herbal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berlangsung dengan baik melalui kegiatan pelatihan sehingga masyarakat dapat membuat produk olahan tersebut.Kata kunci: masyarakat, tanaman herbal, produk olahan, galeri obat herbal

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing number of early marriages occurring in society has an impact on the low quality of the population, especially the welfare of young women. Community Service Objective: To provide knowledge about the effects of early marriage on children and adolescents. The method of this research was activities using psychoeducation methods for children and adolescents. This service is carried out for three months.Results of Community Service: Psychoeducation has been carried out for children who are expected to understand the impact of early marriage if it occurs at the age of children and adolescents through understanding the ten dimensions of marriage readiness—participants' pretest-posttest results. Most participants experienced an increase in knowledge before and after being given psychoeducation. Community service has also succeeded in providing counselling skills to participants, but some participants still need a lot of practice to improve their counselling skills. Conclusion This community service has taken place well through psychoeducational activities. Participants have understood the ten dimensions of marriage readiness and are expected to practice counselling skills that have been applied in community service.Keywords: Psychoeducation, Early Marriage, Children ABSTRAKMeningkatnya angka pernikahan dini yang terjadi dimasyarakat yang berdampak pada rendahnya kualitas kependudukan khususnya kesejahteraan perempuan muda. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat yakni untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai dampak pernikahan dini pada anak-anak dan remaja. Kegiatan menggunakan metode psikoedukasi dan pelatihan konseling untuk anak dan remaja. Telah dilaksanakan psikoedukasi untuk anak-anak yang diharapkan mampu memahami dampak pernikahan dini jika terjadi pada usia anak-anak dan remaja melalui pemahaman 10 dimensi kesiapan pernikahan. Hasil pretest-postest peserta Sebagian besar peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan sebelun dan sesudah diberikanya psikoedukasi. Pengabdian masyarakat juga berhasil memberikan keterampilan konseling pada peserta, namun Sebagian peserta masih perlu banyak latihan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan konseling tersebut. Kesimpulan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berlangsung dengan baik melalui kegiatan psikoedukasi. Peserta telah memahami 10 dimensi kesiapan pernikahan dan diharapkan melatih keterampilan konseling yang telah diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat tersebut.Kata kunci: Psikoedukasi, Pernikahan Dini, Anak

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Get Resih Application to increase knowledge of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) in children. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post group design. The study population consists of 22 kindergarten students who were randomly selected. The sampling technique is total sampling consisting of 11 experimental group and 11 a control group. The experimental group was given the Get Resih treatment – a knowledge scale of clean and healthy living behaviors used in the pretest and posttest. The results were analyzed using independent t-test and paired t-test samples. The results showed that there was a significant increase in CHLB knowledge between pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group. Meanwhile, in the controlled group, no significant knowledge of CHLB was found. It can be concluded that the Get Resih application can increase CHLB knowledge in children.

Abstract

This systematic literature review provides a comprehensive exploration of the role of psychological, human, and social capital in shaping entrepreneurial intentions within the context of higher education. The study synthesizes findings from a wide range of empirical studies to assess how these capitals influence students’ aspirations to engage in entrepreneurial activities. An online search was conducted on 125 reputable articles in the 2012-2021 period on entrepreneur intention and psychological, human, and social capital. Our review encompasses a detailed analysis of the psychological constructs that motivate entrepreneurial intentions, such as personal attitude, perceived behavioral control, and subjective norms. Furthermore, we examine human capital elements, including education, skills, and experience, alongside social capital aspects like social networks and family support systems. This review highlights the complex interplay between individual capabilities and contextual factors by integrating insights from multiple theoretical frameworks, including the Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Career Theory. The findings suggest that while psychological capital is crucial in forming entrepreneurial intentions, human and social capital are equally significant in providing the necessary resources and networks to act on these intentions. This review contributes to academic discourse by clarifying the roles and relationships of different types of capital in entrepreneurial intention formation among higher education students, offering implications for educators and policymakers in fostering a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji coba modul “Piawai Bergawai” untuk mengurangi perilaku berisiko pada generasi digital natives. Adanya uji coba modul sebagai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital pada digital natives secara komprehensif sehingga dapat mengurangi perilaku berisiko. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian merupakan kelompok digital natives berusia 14 – 18 tahun yang pernah melakukan perilaku berisiko seperti perundungan, perilaku seksual, merokok dan lain-lain.  Subjek dibagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol yang masing-masing terdiri dari 10 orang dimana kelompok eksperimen diberikan psikoedukasi dari modul Piawai Bergawai yang sudah divalidasi sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok eksperimen terdapat pengaruh signifikan pemberian psikoedukasi “Piawai Bergawai” dalam mengurangi perilaku berisiko dengan nilai signifikansi p=0,016 (p<0,05). Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan tidak menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan dengan nilai p=0,101 (p>0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul “Piawai Bergawai” dapat menjadi panduan pemberian Psikoedukasi pada generasi digital natives khususnya remaja untuk mengurangi perilaku-perilaku berisiko akibat akses informasi teknologi digital.Abstract: This study aims to test the module of "Piawai Bergawai" to reduce risky behaviors on the digital natives' generation. The module test exists to improve digital literacy skills on digital natives comprehensively so it can reduce risky behaviors. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment. The subject of this research was a group of digital natives in the age of 14-18 years old who had conducted risky behaviors like bullying, sexual behaviors, smoking, and others. The subject was divided into two groups, namely experiment and control groups which each consisted of 10 people where the experimental group was given with psychoeducation from the Piawai Bergawai module that has been validated in prior. The research results show that there is a significant impact on the implementation of “Piawai Bergawai” psychoeducation in reducing risky behaviors with p=0.016 (p<0.05) significance value.While the control group that is not provided with the treatment shows no significant changes with p=0.101 (p>0.05). It can be concluded that the “PiawaiBergawai” module can become the guideline to give psychoeducation on digital narratives’ generation, especially on teenagers, to reduce risky behaviors due to the information access of digital technologies.

Abstract

Sexual crime comprises child sexual abuse, grouping, rape, or the torture of a person in a sexual manner. Recently, sexual crimes have posed a threat to children in Indonesia. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Get Personal application in enhancing children's personal safety skills against sexual crime. A pre-post control group design was utilized with a quasi-experimental approach. Twenty-two elementary school pupils who participated in the study were split into experimental and control groups, with the experimental group receiving the Get Personal application treatment. The personal safety skills scale was utilized to obtain the pretest and posttest data. The data were analyzed by independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test. Significant differences were found in the results of personal safety skills in the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group, while the control group didn’t indicate any difference. Following the paired t-test, individuals in the experimental group demonstrated a significant difference between the means of the pretest and posttest, with the posttest’s mean score being higher than the pretest’s mean score. Therefore, the Get Personal application improves children's personal safety skills and may apply to enhance personal safety skills among children.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the indicators of a school well-being program in Jambi City. This research was conducted with an open survey method (open ended questionnaire), the analysis was carried out by categorization, axial coding, percentage, and a description of each category. The sampling technique is random sampling. This study included 239 high school students in Jambi City as respondents. The results showed that the indicators of a school well-being consisted of school conditions (having), social relations (loving), school self-fulfillment (being), and health status had been achieved even though in each component there was still unsatisfactory achievement indicator status. The main priority in realizing the development of a school well-being program in Jambi City includes planning to prepare relaxing facilities according to student needs, the role of teachers, constructive collaboration between teachers and parents, and strengthening physical and psychological health services. The implementation of the welfare school program is the responsibility of schools and stakeholders so that it is necessary to prepare for strengthening policies in governance, long-term plans, sources of funds, implementation, and supervision from local, provincial, and even Ministry level agencies

Abstract

Reverse Culture Shock (RCS) is a psychosocial challenge experienced by individuals returning to their home country after participating in a program abroad. This study aims to examine the effect of RCS on psychological distress, with psychological capital acting as a mediating variable.This research employed a quantitative survey design and utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for data analysis. Data were collected using the DASS-21 scale, the Psychological Capital (PsyCap) scale, and the Reverse Culture Shock scale. The population consisted of 1,980 awardees of the 2023 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), with a sample of 316 students selected through random sampling. The results revealed that RCS had a significant negative effect on psychological capital (β = -0.427; p < .001) and a significant positive effect on psychological distress (β = 0.348; p < .001). Psychological capital also had a significant negative effect on psychological distress (β = -0.368; p < .001). Furthermore, a partial mediation effect of psychological capital was found in the relationship between RCS and psychological distress (β = 0.157; VAF = 31.1%; p < .01). These findings suggest that higher levels of RCS are associated with greater psychological distress, but psychological capital can buffer this negative impact. The study highlights the importance of psychological interventions that strengthen internal psychological resources to support re-adaptation after cross-cultural experiences.

Abstract

AbstractConflicts and disputes related to religion, race, and also ethnic groups, as well as the hedonism and egoism of Indonesian people today, are eroding the religious and national character of the nation. The Government of Indonesia, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, seeks to strengthen character education (PPK) as a way to grow, instill, and strengthen the positive character of the nation's children. This study aims to make scale the religious character of high school students based on the values of the main characters of the Ministry of Education and Culture by using the principal component analysis (PCA) technique. The population of this research is high school students in Jambi Province with 337 high school students with ages range 15 to 18 years. the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of the analysis through the Principal Component Analysis method with orthogonal rotation and varimax extraction resulted in six principal components that were successfully reduced, namely: components of peace, tolerance, protection, detachment, respect and friendship. Each component has a coefficient of 0,000 which means that each component measures a different aspect, each aspect independent of each other and not related to each other. The reliability test using the Guttman Method yields a value of λ = 0.781 which means the scale has a degree of reliability sufficient to measure the religious character of High School Students and can be used with other measurements to support validation of the measurement.AbstrakBerbagai konflik dan perselisihan terkait perbedaan agama, ras, serta etnis bangsa maupun perilaku hedonisme dan egoisme masyarakat Indonesia saat ini mengindikasikan terkikisnya karakter religius dan pansilais bangsa. Pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kemdikbud mengupayakan penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) sebagai cara untuk menumbuhkan, menanamkan, dan menguatkan kembali karakter positif pada anak bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat skala karakter religius siswa SMA yang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai utama karakter Kemdikbud dengan menggunakan teknik principal component analysis (PCA). Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Provinsi Jambi dengan responden sebanyak 337 siswa SMA yang berusia 15 sampai 18 tahun. teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling.Hasil analisis melalui metode Principal Component Analssis dengan rotasi orthogonal dan ekstraksi varimaks menghasilkan enam komponen yang berhasil direduksi, yaitu: komponen cinta damai, toleransi, perlindungan, teguh pendirian, hormat dan persahabatan. Setiap komponen memiliki koefisien korelasi 0.000 yang berarti setiap komponen mengukur aspek yang berbeda, berdiri sendiri dan tidak saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Uji reliabilitas dengan Metode Guttman menghasilkan nilai λ=0.781 yang berarti skala memiliki derajat keterpercayaan yang cukup untuk mengukur karakter religius dan dapat digunakan dengan pengukuran lain untuk mendukung validasi pengukuran.
