Abstract

Language variation is an important linguistic phenomenon because it can show the social diversity of speakers and the function of language in social interaction. In the context of film, language variation can be a mirror of existing social and cultural dynamics and provide comprehensive sociolinguistic insights. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of language variation found in the dialogue of Sobat Ambyar movie in order to understand the relationship between language variation and the social context behind it and its contribution to strengthening local cultural identity and authenticity of the film. This research approach uses a qualitative approach. The data were obtained by using listening and note-taking techniques, content analysis with descriptive presentation. The results of this study obtained six language variations namely acrolek, basilek, vulgar, colloquial, jargon, and ken in Indonesian and Javanese. The dominant findings of this study were vulgar, basilek, and acrolek, with 18, 13, and 14 findings, severally. The use of these language variations enriches the viewing experience and strengthens local cultural identity, making the film more authentic and close to the audience.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan sintaksis pada karangan eksposisi siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 254 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis karangan eksposisi tersebut adalah metode analisis isi (content analysis) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Karangan eksposisi siswa yang diteliti berjumlah 34 karangan. Jenis kesalahan sintaksis yang ditemukan terdiri atas kesalahan pada ketidaktepatan bentuk kata sebanyak 103 kalimat atau 27,8%, kalimat yang tidak tepat dalam pilihan kata/diksi sebanyak 88 kalimat atau 23,7%, kalimat mubazir atau pleonasme sebanyak 87 kalimat atau 23,4%, kalimat yang berstruktur tidak baku sebanyak 42 kalimat atau 11,3%, kalimat yang ambigu sebanyak 20 kalimat atau 5,4%, kalimat yang tidak memiliki logika atau mengalami kesalahan nalar sebanyak 17 kalimat atau 4,6%, dan kontaminasi atau kerancuan kalimat sebanyak 14 kalimat atau 3,8%. Berdasarkan persentase hasil temuan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa masih menggunakan pilihan kata/diksi yang kurang tepat, struktur kalimat yang tidak baku, bentuk kata yang tidak tepat, kalimat mubazir, kalimat rancu, dan kalimat ambigu. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dipergunakan untuk menentukan langkah-langkah dalam proses pembelajaran, menyusun materi pembelajaran secara bertahap dari yang mudah ke yang sukar, dari yang sederhana ke yang rumit, dan sebagainya.

Abstract

Adolescent Counseling Education at SMK Negeri 4 Pandeglang Using the Mathematics of Love Languages Approach. Creating a supportive learning environment, where understanding students' communication styles and emotional needs can enhance the overall effectiveness of the teachinglearning process, is crucial and this extends beyond the realm of counseling. The community service program titled Adolescent Counseling Education at SMK Negeri 4 Pandeglang Using the Mathematics of Love Languagesaims to provide an innovative approach to building more positive communication and relationships between teachers and students. Through training comprising interactive workshops, simple numerical simulations based on love languages theory, and case discussions, teachers from various subjects were guided to map and understand their students' interpersonal characteristics. The evaluation results indicate the program's success, with highly positive feedback from participants. Specifically, 75% of teachers found the material easy to understand, 73.5% rated it as engaging and applicable, and 80.9% felt the facilitation team delivered the content with exceptional clarity. More importantly, 83.8% of participants acknowledged a significant increase in their understanding of teacher-student dynamics, and 82.4% felt motivated to apply these concepts in their daily interactions within the classroom and school environment. In conclusion, this training successfully introduced a practical and well-received framework, the implications of which can strengthen emotional bonds within the school community and, ultimately, support the achievement of educational goals more holistically.
