Abstract

ABSTRAKTanjung Bira pantai telah menjadi pusat pariwisata di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Akibatnya, peningkatan jumlah pengunjung ke objek wisata Tanjung Bira pantai dapat mengurangi kualitas layanan pantai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis indeks kepuasan pelanggan dan untuk mengidentifikasi indikator yang perlu ditingkatkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan distribusi kuesioner close-end. Analisis yang dilakukan dengan menghitung Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) dan Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Penelitian dilakukan di pantai Tanjung Bira dari bulan April sampai Mei. Pengumpulan data dari kuesioner, 311 responden dari wisatawan lokal. Hasilnya menunjukkan nilai CSI sebesar 58%. Ini berarti bahwa pengunjung merasa cukup puas dengan kondisi dan fasilitas di kawasan wisata Tanjung Bira beach. Pentingnya Kinerja analisis (IPA) mengidentifikasi 13 indikator yang perlu perbaikan, yaitu kesempatan untuk melihat hewan laut, harga tiket masuk, bangku, penjaga pantai, papan buletin, kebersihan pantai, tong sampah, toilet umum, kebersihan toilet umum, medis perawatan, keamanan & keselamatan, budaya sebagai daya tarik wisata lokal dan peran LSM.Kata Kunci: Indeks kepuasan pengunjung, Importance-performance, Tanjung Bira, manajemen pantai.  ABSTRACTTanjung Bira beach has become the center of tourism in Bulukumba District. As the result, the increasing number of visitors to the attractions of Tanjung Bira beach can reduce the quality of beach services. The purpose of this study was to analyze customer satisfaction index and to identify the indicators that need to improved. The method used in this research is survey method with closed-ended questionnaires distribution. The analysis was performed by calculating the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The study was conducted at Tanjung Bira beach from April to May. Collecting data from questionnaires, 311 respondents from local travelers. The results show the value of CSI by 58%. This means that visitors feel quite satisfied with the conditions and facilities in the tourist area of Tanjung Bira beach. The importance-performance analysis (IPA) identified 13 indicators that need improvement, namely the opportunity to see marine animals, the price of admission, benches, lifeguard, bulletin boards, beach cleanliness, trash cans, public toilets, cleanliness of public toilets, medical care, security & safety, culture as a local tourist attraction and the role of NGOs.Keywords : Customer satisfaction index, importance-performance analysis, Tanjung Bira, beach management

Abstract

Human activities in the watershed in the upstream of Cileungsi river have tendency to bring high organic materials to the river which determines the aquatic condition of the river. The decreased water quality is event because of the organic materials in the upstream of Cileungsi river would bring negative impacts towards water condition in the downstream. This study was conducted in determining the water quality in the upstream of Cileungsi river, using Trophic Diatom Index (TDI). The sampling was taken in four different sites in the river and sub-river of the upstream of the river. The sampling of ephilitic diatom organisms were taken by scraping the surface of substrate rocks using brush then soaked the materials into a sampling bottle which hasbun containing destile water. Diatom density was measured using census method according to standard of APHA 2012. The TDI score ranged from 48.25 to 60.47, indicating that the water quality of upstream of Cileungsi river is classified from good until poor condition.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggunakan komunitas makroozoobenthos sebagaiindikator biologi perairan di hulu Sungai Cisadane melalui aplikasi beberapa indeks biologi.Sampling dilakukan di segmen hulu Sungai Cisadane, Desa Pasir Buncir, KecamatanCaringin, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat pada bulan Juni - Agustus 2006. Indeks biologi yangdigunakan adalah Indeks keanekaragaman, LQI, FBI, Indeks Pantle & Buck, dan SIGNAL 2,ditambah dengan analisis kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi dankepadatan makrozoobenthos bervariasi antar stasiun dan antar pengamatan. Dari analisismenggunakan lima metode indeks biologi diduga perairan hulu Sungai Cisadane tercemarsangat ringan hingga ringan. Metode FBI nampaknya paling sesuai diterapkan di sungai ini,dan untuk dipakai di Indonesia.Kata kunci: makrozoobenthos, indeks biologi, pencemaran, sungaiABSTRACTThe aime of the research was to use makrozoobenthic community as bioindicator of CisadaneRiver headstream by some biological indices analyses. Sample collections were made inheadstream segment of Cisadane River in Pasir Buncir Village, Bogor Regency, West Jawaon June – August 2006. Some biological indices were applied, i.e. Shannon-Wiener index,LQI, FBI, Indeks Pantle & Buck, and SIGNAL 2; in addition, water quality analysis was alsoperformed. The results showed that the composition and abundance of makrozoobenthiccommunity varied among sampling stations as well as sampling time. The indices showedthat the river segment was very light until light polluted. Abstract

Cherax quadricarinatus is one of the important fisheries commodities in Lido Lake, but this spesies often become invasive. Egg production is used as basic information for managing freshwater cryfish in Lido Lake. This study aims to analyze the egg production of freshwater crayfish Cherax quadricarinatus in the waters of Lido Lake Bogor, West Java Province. This research was conducted in December 2017 until February 2018 with a total sample of 101 females. The growth pattern of Cherax quadricarinatus based on the t-test is negative allometric. Different carapace lengths have a significant effect on the total number of eggs. The average number of eggs produced during the three months sampling was 212 ± 65 eggs. The average egg volume produced is 4,2376 ± 1,2270 mm3 and the average egg diameter produced is 1,9919 ± 0,1869 mm.

Abstract

Tourism carrying capacity assessment for the protection of coastal area was applied to Tanjung Bira beach as an attempt to assess the optimum allowable number of visitors in accordance to the PAOT (people at one time approach) without damaging the surrounding ecological, social and cultural environments. The study shows that the Real Carrying Capacity (RCC) was 202 beach user/day and the Effective Carrying Capacity (ECC) was 117 beach user/day. Although there was a significant difference between Physical-Ecological and Social-Cultural Carrying Capacity, this study suggests that the Physical-Ecological Carrying Capacity or Real Carrying Capacity may be applied for ecosystem management, whilst the Social-Cultural Carrying Capacity or Effective Carrying Capacity (ECC) may be addressed when management objectives are tourists and beach user.

Abstract

Changes of environment could also changes the organisms, as individual, population, or community therefore the appearance of an organism could be applied as biological indicator of those environments. Simple methods were introduced in England, Australia, Thailand, and Indonesia. The objective of this study was to evaluate water quality of Ciapus river using simple kit based on saprobic system. An Illustrated cover and inserted paper were used as kit to evaluate the river water quality. Using this kit, the appearance of specific organisms were used as key to evaluate the river water quality of Ciapus River directly. Samples were taken from two segment of Ciapus River i.e. upper and middle part. According to the method, the upper segment of Ciapus River was categorized as very good condition, while the middle part was in moderate condition.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the limnological status of Cilala reservoir, based on physical, chemical, and biological parameters. The observation comprised some morphometric of surface and vertical dimension, water quality measurements, plankton community structure, and primary productivity. Based on some morphometric condition, Cilala reservoir has a high potention of biological productivity, but the area of lake begins narrowing. The physical and chemical characteristic showed that Cilala reservoir was still in good condition. The condition of Total Suspended Solid (TSS) at inlet and the water debit of outlet showed that the waters has a relatively high potention of sedimentation that lead to a shallowing condition. There were found 95 genus of phytoplankton from seven classes (Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Chrysophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Pyrrophyceae, and Xanthophyceae). It was also found four major groups of zooplankton, i.e. Rotifera, Copepoda, Cladocera, and Protozoa. Although the primary productivity was relatively low, based on orthophosphate, chlorophyll-a, and Nygaard Index, the water was in mesotrophic-eutrophic status. As a whole, Cilala reservoir was still appropriate for fisheries activities.

Abstract

Lake Siombak is a tidal lake that is an estuary around the lake covered with various mangrove trees. It is interesting to study the fish's spatial and temporal distribution as a unique and distinctive tidal lake ecosystem. This research was conducted for a year (from September 2018 to August 2019). Fish sampling was performed by installing gill nets (mesh size 1 inch) and cast nets (mesh size 0.5 inch). Gill nets and cast nets were installed at high and low tides during the full moon. This research showed that there were 27 species of 20 families. Tilapia, Mudskipper, Indo-pacific tarpon, and mainly Rice Fish are always found in Lake Siombak. The fish group at Lake Siombak consists of freshwater fish (mainly: Tilapia, Catfish, and Snakehead), brackish fish (mainly: Mudskipper, Rice fish, and Indo-pacific tarpon), and marine fish (mainly: Milkfish, Kanda mullet, and John's snapper). The actual resident in Lake Siombak consists of Oryziidae, Tilapia, and mudskipper. Other fish are temporary resident fish except for Lutjanidae and Scatophagidae as visitor fish during high tide and high salinity periods (dry season) and Synbranchidae during low salinity (rainy season).

Abstract

Kecamatan Bangkala, Kabupaten Jeneponto di Sulawesi, memiliki potensi untuk lebih dikembangkan sebagai sentra penghasil garam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kondisi kualitas air dan garam (dengan Artemia dan tanpa Artemia), yang dilakukan melalui pengamatan pada Desember 2015 sampai Maret 2016. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi kualitas air (suhu, pH, salinitas, DO), dan kualitas garam (NaCl, Ca, Mg) dan kondisi garam. Berdasarkan pengamatan diketahui bahwa kualitas air yang terdiri atas suhu, pH, salinitas, dan DO di tambak garam masing-masing adalah 30-36°C, 88-92‰, 7,1-7,9, dan 3,7-4,7 ppm. Kualitas garam di wilayah pengamatan memiliki kandungan rata-rata NaCl (83,30-95,6‰), Kalsium (Ca) (0,16-0,32‰), dan Magnesium (Mg) (0,12-0,28‰) yang secara umum tergolong sedang-baik.

Abstract

Lamun adalah tumbuhan berbunga yang tumbuh di perairan dangkal dan sangat tergantung terhadap sinar matahari, sehingga menjadikan sebuah ekosistem yang memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis nilai sebaran persentase tutupan lamun dan kondisi parameter lingkungannya, hal ini menjadi indikator awal dalam mengetahui kondisi kesehatan lamun. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perairan Kupang Barat meliputi tiga desa diantaranya: Desa Lifuleo (St.1), Desa Tablolong (St.2) dan Desa Tesabela (St.3) dengan menggunakan metode survei SeagrassNet. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebaran jenis lamun yang ditemukan di tiga lokasi penelitian memiliki kesesamaan jenis, yaitu: Halodule pinifolia, Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, dan Halophila ovalis. Nilai persentase tutupan lamun di stasiun I sebesar 76,82% dengan dominansi jenis Enhalus acoroides. Persentase nilai tutupan di stasiun II sebesar 75,95% dengan dominansi jenis dari Thalassia hemprichii. Kondisi tutupan lamun di stasiun I dan II dikategorikan sangat padat dan dalam kondisi baik atau sehat. Sedangkan untuk stasiun III dengan nilai tutupan lamun sebesar 45,08% dikategorikan sedang dengan kondisi lamun yang rusak dan kurang sehat. Pengukuran kualitas perairan menjadi pendukung dalam menentukan kondisi kesehatan ekosistem lamun. Nilai rata-rata parameter kualitas air seperti suhu 29°C, Salinitas 35‰, pH 7,1, kecepatan arus 0,3 m/s, dan kandungan oksigen terlarut 6,5 ml/l. Berdasarkan kriteria baku kerusakan dan pedoman penentuan status padang lamun KEPMENLH No.200 tahun 2004, nilai kualitas air di tiga desa dalam kondisi normal atau baik untuk tumbuh kembang lamun.
