Abstract

ABSTRACTFish Botia is a freshwater fish that have an attractive body colors. Feeding naturallypumpkin flour feed in artificial feed aimed to improve the color quality of clown fish and how long it takes to improve the color. This research was used experimental method with quantutative approach. Research used CRD (Complete Random Design) which consists of 4 treatments with different concentration includes: P0: Positive control, P1: 10%, P2: 15%, and P3: 20%, with 3 replications in each treatments. Parameter in this research are color quality improvements, length and weight accretion.Observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANAVA) α <0.05. The research result showed that feeding the pumpkin flour in artificial diet affected the color improvement of clown fish but did not affect the length and weight of clown fish. The optimal color improvement of clown fish obtained on the treatment with 15% concentration.Keywords: Clown fish, Pumpkin flour, Color quality

Abstract

To increase the income of fishermen in Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Sungai Apit Sub-District, Siak Regency, alternative livelihoods are needed in the form of fish aquaculture using biofloc technology. For biofloc technology to be applied, the target community needs to be given knowledge and skills through counseling activities. Extension activities are carried out to improve the knowledge and skills of target communities so that they can apply fish cultivation with biofloc technology. The implementation of counseling uses the lecture method, discussion and demonstration of various materials presented. From the results of the activity, it was known that the target community seemed enthusiastic about the activities carried out, the participants began to understand and understand the material presented, and there was an increase in participants' knowledge about catfish farming with biofloc technology between 60-80%.

Abstract

Plastics are the synthesis of polymerization of different types of monomers. Almost all kinds of plastic will drift or float inside the water body. It will cause the plastic to be torn apart and damaged by the sunlight, oxidation and abrasion of mechanically forming plastic particles. Ecobrick is one way of handling plastic waste by packing clean and dry plastic into plastic bottles. Community empowerment to process plastic waste into something useful in the long term is one of the keys to the success of the plastic waste recycling program. This activity will provide benefits for community service participants, members who implement counselling, higher education and government. The target audience in these community service activities is the village community Bunga Raya, Siak regency. Results of public service activities that have been implemented by the community have been able to make seats from Ecobrick. In society, it is expected not only to make seats from Ecobrick but also to create other creations. So it can be used as a new business opportunity for the target community.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental) yang bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui hasil belajar fisika kelompok yang diajar menggunakan media presentasi interaktif (2) mengetahui hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelompok yang diajar secara konvensional (3) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar fisika kelompok yang diajar menggunakan media presentasi interaktif dengan kelompok yang diajar secara konvesional. Desain penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control group design  yang melibatkan dua variabel terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu media presentasi interaktif dan veriabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar fisika sebanyak 18 item yang berbentuk pilihan ganda pada pokok bahasan “usaha dan energi”. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Cokroaminoto Makassar Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas eksperimen 10,45 dengan standar deviasi 3,54 dan varians 12,545 sedangkan rata-rata skor hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas kontrol 8,5 dengan standar deviasi 2,69 dan varians 7,24. Berdasarkan uji homogenitas hasil belajar fisika adalah Fhitung  = 1,73 Ftabel  = 2,09 dengan uji hipotesis yakni thitung = 2,22 dan ttabel  = 2,018 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh media presentasi interaktif terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik.Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, media presentasi interaktifThis research is a quasi experimental design that aims to (1) determine of Physics learning outcomes of group who taught using peentage of interactive media. (2) determine of Physics learning outcomes of group who taught using conventoinal  media. (3) determine difference of Physics learning outcomes of group taugh using presentage of interactive media than group by taugh conventoinal media. This research design is none equivalent control group design by use two variabels are independent variabel is interactive presentatoin media and dependent variabel is result learning. Researc instrument using achievement test consisting 18 multple choice items basic learning “work and energy”. The subjects of this research are sciece class students of XI SMA Cokroaminito Makassar academic year 2015/2016 wich twice class are control class and experiment class. The result of research to point average score physics learning outcomes students experiment class is 10,45 which standard deviation 3,45 and varians 12,545 than average score of result learning of control class 8,5 wich stnadard deviation 2,69 and varians 7, 24. Based on homogenitas test phisics result learning is Fhitung =1,73 Ftabel = 2,09 then hpotesis test is thitung = 2,22 and ttabel = 2,018 to point the presentage of interactive media is have realion to students result learning.Key Words: Results Learning, presentage of  interactive media

Abstract

Plastic waste pollution in the land and the river continues to rise. Plastic waste including marine pollution and debris can menyebab disrupt aquatic ecosystems. However, hazards of plastic waste pollution in the waters are still poorly understood by the public, especially for the people of Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara. To give knowledge to people in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara Sungai Siak Apit about the dangers of plastic waste pollution in the rivers and sea required educational activities. So that more people know and understand the dangers of plastic waste, the public needs to be educated and understanding through extension activities. Extension activities carried out in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara in September - October 2017. Implementation of education using lecture and discussion of the material presented. Conducted outreach activities to broaden the public about the negative impact of plastic waste so as to reduce the environmental impact of plastic waste on the river and the sea. The results show that the public targeted activity seen appreciation in receiving education of the activities carried out, the participants begin to recognize and understand the material presented and an increase understanding and knowledge about the dangers of plastic waste pollution between 65-80%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak has a global impact, especially in terms of the community's economy, so that those affected by this outbreak find it difficult to finance their daily needs, therefore efforts are needed to increase people's income. One technology that can be applied is the cultivation of fish in tanks with vegetables (aquaponics). The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills about the cultivation of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) with aquaponics technology of the bucket fish farming system which can ultimately be used as additional income, besides that it is hoped that this activity can be used as an example in updating/information in the field of aquaculture. This socialization activity was carried out in the "Usaha Mandiri" Group of Binawidya Village, Binawidya District, Pekanbaru in June-November 2021. The results achieved in this activity were an increase in the skills knowledge of the training participants, namely the result of evaluating the level of community knowledge about water source technology with the following categories: Do not understand 10% and understand 90%, want to try 60%, the results of observations on the growth of catfish with an average weight of 119,00-127,00 g/indv. and 90% survival rate.

Abstract

Ikan nila merupakan ikan budidaya yang disukai oleh masyarakat karena dagingnya yang gurih dan lezat. Untuk peningkatkan produksi ikan nila diperlukan pakan yang cukup, baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya. Pakan merupakan komponen biaya operasional utama pada budidaya ikan nila yang diperkirakan mencapai 40%-60%. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan teknologi yang dapat menekan biaya operasional dalam sistem budidaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi frekuensi pemberian pakan yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan ikan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus) yang dipelihara dengan sistem bioflok. Metode yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuannya adalah frekuensi pemberian pakan pelet yaitu (A) 1 kali/hari, (B) 2 kali/hari, 3 kali/hari, dan 4 kali/hari. Ikan nila ukuran 3,71 ± 0,11 cm dan bobot 4,49 ± 0,021 g dipelihara selama 56 hari dalam bak 100 L dengan padat tebar 16 ekor/bak. Ikan dipelihara dengan teknologi bioflok dan diberikan pakan setiap harinya sebanyak 5%/berat biomasa/hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan ikan nila merah pada sistem bioflok dengan frekuensi pemberian pakan yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap performa pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan efisensi pakan. Perlakuan frekuensi pemberiaan pakan 2 kali/hari merupakan perlakuan terbaik menghasilkan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 23,07 ± 0,89 g; laju pertumbuhan harian 3,23 ± 0,05%; sintasan 91,66 ± 3,60%; dan efisensi pakan 96,73 ± 6,70%.Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a cultured fish that is favored by the public, because of its delicious meat and high protein content. To increase production, quality, and quantity of feed is needed, feed is the main component in the cultivation system and it is estimated that 40%-60% of the costs incurred in maintaining tilapia are needed. To overcome this, technology is needed that can reduce operational costs in fish culture. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the growth and survival of red tilapia with different feeding frequencies reared with a biofloc system. The research method applied was experimental with four treatments and three replications. The treatment was the frequency of feeding, namely (A) 1 time/day, (B) 2 times/day, 3 times/day, and 4 times/day. Tilapia were reared for 56 days in a 100 L tank with a stocking density of 16 fish/tank. Initial size 3.71 ± 0.11 cm and weight 4.49 ± 0.021. Tilapia are reared with biofloc technology and given daily feed of 5%/weight of biomass/day. The results showed that rearing red tilapia with different feeding frequencies in the biofloc system had a significant effect (P<0.05) on growth performance, survival, and feed efficiency. Treatment B with a frequency of feeding 2 times/day was the best, with absolute growthof 23.07 ± 0.89 g, daily growth rate of 3.23 ± 0.05%, survival rate 91.66 ± 3.60%, and feed efficiency 96.73 ± 6.70%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberian dosis enzim phytase terbaik pada pakan komersial untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan benih ikan nilem (Osteochilus hasselti) dengan sistem resirkulasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan lima taraf perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuannya adalah: P0 (tanpa enzim phytase), P1 (enzim phytase 0,5 g/kg pakan), P2 (enzim phytase 1 g/kg pakan), P3 (enzim phytase 1,5 g/kg pakan) dan P4 (enzim phytase 2 g/kg pakan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enzim phytase dengan dosis yang berbeda pada pakan dengan sistem resirkulasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan nilem, bobot mutlak, panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, rasio konversi pakan dan kecernaan pakan. Perlakuan terbaik adalah P4 (enzim phytase 2 g/kg pakan) dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 4,69±0,45 g, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak sebesar 2,90±0,01 cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik sebesar 3.93±0,19%, FCR sebesar 1,19±0,01%, dan kelulushidupan sebesar 100±0,00 %. Nilai kecernaan pakan ikan nilem 71,26% dan kecernaan protein pada ikan nilem 87,15%. Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian masih mendukung suhu berkisar antara 27,2-28,8˚C, pH air berkisar antara 6,1-7,2, kandungan oksigen terlarut (DO) berkisar antara 4,5-6,5 ml/L dan ammonia berkisar antara 0,00057-0,00195

Abstract

Digital lifestyle has become an integral part of university students' daily lives, involving the use of social media, digital devices, and digital content consumption. The development of digital technology has positive impacts, facilitating easy access to information and social interactions. However, excessive use can lead to digital stress, which negatively affects students' mental health. This study aims to identify the key factors influencing students' digital lifestyles and analyze their relationship with stress levels. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, using a questionnaire to measure digital lifestyle, including social media usage frequency and digital device interaction duration, along with the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) to measure students' stress levels. The factor analysis results show that social media usage and prolonged interaction with digital devices are significant factors contributing to students' stress. Furthermore, sleep disturbances and social anxiety were identified as other significant factors associated with increased stress. The multivariate regression analysis confirmed that students who spent more time on social media reported higher stress levels, associated with social anxiety and sleep disturbances caused by digital addiction. This study suggests the importance of managing digital device usage and raising students' awareness of the negative impacts of excessive social media use. The findings imply the need for support from universities and mental health organizations to provide interventions that help students manage their digital lifestyles, reduce stress, and improve their mental well-being.
