Abstract

ABSTRACT                The aim of the study was to determine the best stocking density in the addition of probiotic for increasing the growth and survival rate of fish seed baung (Hemibagrus nemurus). This research was conducted for 40 days from May 11 to june 19 2019, in the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau. This research was using the experimental method by completely random design (RAL) with 4 levels of treatment three replications. The treatments applied P1 = Maintenance with stocking densiy 200 tail/m3, P2 = Maintenance with stocking densiy 300 tail/m3, P3 = Maintenance with stocking densiy 400 tail/m3, P4 = Maintenance with stocking densiy 500 tail/m3. The results showed that the addition of different bioboost doses showed a significant effect (P <0,05) on absolute weight growth (Wm), absolute length growth (Lm), specific growth rate (LPS), feed conversion ratio (FCR) and no significant effect (P> 0,05) on survival rate (SR) of baung fish. The best treatment is stocking density 200 tail/m3 (P3) which produces absolute weight growth of 5,09 g, absolute length growth of 4,29 cm, the specific growth rate of 3,35 %, feed conversion ratio 1,42 and survival rate 95,27 % . Keywords: Stocking Density, Bacillus sp, Growth,  Mystus nemurus.

Abstract

This research was carried out on June 01 - June 30, 2016 at the Brackish water Aquaculture Institution Shrimp Hatchery Unit, Gelung, Situbondo, East Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2 dose on moulting, growth and survival rate of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) juveneli. The method used in this research was the experimental method, using one factor completely randomized design with 6 treatments and 3 replications. P0 (control) without giving ( 0 mg/L Ca(OH) 2), P1 (Dose Ca(OH)2 1 mg / L of water), P2 (Dose Ca(OH)2 2 mg / L of water), P3 (Dose Ca(OH)2 3 mg / L water ), P4 (dose Ca(OH)2 4 mg / L of water) and P5 (dose Ca (OH) 2 5 mg / L of water). The results showed that administration of calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2 at a dose of 60 mg / L of water. Absolute growth was 0.56 g, 2.06 cm, daily growth rate 1.73% and survival rate was 68.33%. The hiqhest pucentage % moulting in 28 days realing was about 50 % mared at 60 mg/L Ca(OH)2.Keywords: Vannamei, Calsium Hydroxide Ca(OH) 2, growth and survival

Abstract

ABSTRACT            This research was conducted on August to October 2017 in Fish Seed Center Sei Tibun, Kampar. Thei aim of this research was to determine the exact of companior fish in accelarating of Pangasius polyuranodon in controlled enviroment as aquaculture. The size of Juaro was using 6-10 cm. The method was using the experimental method with five treatment and three replications, the treatment were P0 (Pangasius polyuranodon without companior fish), P1 (Pangasius polyuranodon with five Cyprinus carpio), P2 (Pangasius polyuranodonwith five Pangasius hypophtalmus), P3 (Pangasius polyuranodon with five Osteochilus hasselti), P4 (Pangasius polyuranodon with five Oreochormis niloticus). The data was analyzed by using ANOVA (P<0,05). The result showed that the best treatment was Pangasius polyuranodon with Pangasius hypophtalmus(P2) with Spesific growth rate 1,60%, Feed efficiency 14,33%, Survival rate 100% and most fast to response the feed. The water quality parameters consists of temperature was around 26,7-290C, dissolved oxygen (DO)4,0-59 ppm and pH 5,6-6,0. Keywords: Juaro (Pangasius polyuranodon), Domestication, Companior fish

Abstract

Wallago lerri is one of fresh water fish that it has value economical high that it isinteresting to in cultivation. Prior to the business of cultivating beforehand donebusiness domestication. The first step in domesticated is transportingtransportation fish to place the location of domestication. This research aimed atdetermining the influence of solid stocking different against Survival rates, fish insize 12-19 cm carting a closed system during two-three hours and knowing thedensity of the best. This research using design random complete treatment densitythat is, with 3 p1 10/5 litres, the tail p2 15 / 5 litres of and p3 20 / 5 litres, the taileach treatment in repeated three times. The data in extract Survival rates andwater quality. The result showed that the density of that has been tested don ' tgive the influence of real ( P > 0.05 ) against Survival rates. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of giving Tubifexsp with different doses on the growth and survival of black ghost fish (Apteronotusalbifrons). This research was conducted in May – July 2019 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University, Pekanbaru. This study used a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatment levels with three replications so that 12 experimental units were needed. The treatments were: Giving Tubifexsp 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of the weight of fish biomass. The results of the research that have been carried out can be seen that the best treatment is feeding with a dose of 20% / body weight which can produce an absolute weight growth rate (0.51 g), absolute length growth (4.75 cm), specific length growth (2, 5 cm). 20%) and survival (86.67%) while the water quality parameters during the study obtained pH 6.0-7.0, temperature 26-28 0C, DO 3.1-3.2 mg/l.Keyword :Apteronotusalbifrons, Doses, Growth of Tubifexsp

Abstract

The study was conducted from 1st of April to 10th May 2017. The research to do cultivation technology faculty of fisheries and marine University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The aim of the research is to know about the dose of additional red spinach flour in made feed that aims to enhance color quality to goldfish. This research used experimental method completely randomized design, with 5 level of treatments and 3 replications. The addition were given by P0 pelet FF-999 (control), P1(red spinach flour 2%), P2(red spinach flour 3%), P3 (red spinach flour 4%), P4 (red spinach flour 5%). Maintenance container that used of 60x40x40 cm, aquarium size with water volume of 60 liter with recirculation system. The used of fish as many as 15 tails/basin. The given of food to fish of 3 replication with ad satiation. The measurement of fish color with the growth of sampling done at the beginning, middle, and at the end. Whereas to success of life calculated in begin and ending researd. Parameter of water quality the measured temperature pH, DO, ammonia of measured begin and at the end. The result research showed that the additional red spinach flour in the feed the given influence to the color of change of godfish with 9,81 color gradiation. 2,51 cm absolute length accretion, 6,29 gram absolute weight accretion, the best of succer of life to treatment P2 and P4 of 100%.Keywords: goldfish, change of color, growth of fish, maintenance

Abstract

ABSTRACT            The aim of research was to assess the added effect of recombinantEpinepheluslanceolatus GrowthHormone (rElGH) on feed toward the growth performance and survival rate of fish seed slice (Ompokhypopthalmus). Culture vessel in the form of net bags of 1 x 1 x 1 meters of 20 bags with stocking density of 30 fish/m3.This research was using experimental method by completely random design (RAL) one factor with five treatments and four replications. The treatments were :P0= rElGH 0 mg/kg of feed, P1= rElGH 6 mg/kg of feed, P2= rElGH 12 mg/kg of feed, P3= rElGH 18 mg/kg of feedand P4= rElGH 24 mg/kg of feed. The results showed that the combination of rElGH in feed, showed highly significant effect (P<0.05) of the total weight, total length, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, and no significant effect (p>0.05) to survival rate. value growth and the level of the best survival was found in treatment P2 with a value weight total: 3,85±0,46 gram, length total: 3,60±0,15 cm, specific growth rate: 5,56±0,32%  per day, feed conversion ratio: 1,10±0,12 and survival rate: 100 ± 0.00%. Keywords: Fish Slice, recombinantEpinepheluslanceolatus Growth Hormone,  Growth

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aim to determine the optimal dose of additional herbal supplements in feed toward the growth performance and survival rate of red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) by using biofloc system on peat swamp water. This research was conducted on January 30-March 10, 2018 at Technical Service Unit (UPT) of Hatchery, Marine and Fisheries Faculty, University of Riau. This research was using experimental method by completely random design (RAL) one factor with three replications. The treatments were: A: 0 mL/kg of feed (control), B: 25 mL/kg of feed, C: 50 mL/kg of feed, and D: 75 mL/kg of feed. The herbal supplements were consisted of turmeric, kencur, temulawak and ginger with Bacillus sp. and yeast (Rhizopus oligosporus). The results showed that a different doses of additional herbal supplements affecting the growth performance and the survival rate of red tilapia usingbiofloc system on peat swamp water. In addition, it also affected the absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, feed efficiency and feed conversion ratio.The optimal dose was at 25 mL/kg of feed as it showed significantly different results compared to control and was not differ significantly at higher doses. So that while being applied in terms of economy, 25 mL/kg  was the most efficient dose, by giving the specific growth rate was 2,33%, survival rate was 80%, absolute weight growth was 3,12 g, absolute length was 2,71 cm, feed efficiency was 89,66% and feed conversion ratio was 1,12.                                                                                      Keyword : herbal supplements, red tilapia, biofloc, peat

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat tebar yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan baung yang dipelihara pada sistem resirkulasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 30 hari dari tanggal 03 Mei sampai dengan 03 Juni 2017, bertempat di Laboratorium Teknologi Budidaya Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Dari hasil penelitian perlakuan yang terbaik terdapat pada kepadatan ikan 20 ekor/0,05 m3 (400 ekor/m3)dengan pertumbuhan bobot rata-rata sebesar (15,76 gram) dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (12,57 gram), pertumbuhan panjang mutlaknya sebesar 4,33 cm, laju harian (5,32 %) dengan kelulushidupan ikan sebesar 100 %. Kualitas air selama penelitian diperoleh pH 6,5-7,4, suhu 26-27 0C, DO 4,0-5,2 mg/l, amonia 0,04-0,11 mg/l. Hasi penelitian ikan baung (Mystus nemurus C.V) dengan padat tebar berbeda pada sistem resirkulasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan harian ikan, efisiensi pakan, konversi pakan dan kualitas air.Kata Kunci :Pertumbuhan bobot, pertumbuhan panjang, laju harian, kualitas air

Abstract

The research about the increasing Calcium Oxide (CaO) to accelerate moulting and survival rate vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) was conducted from Agustus until September 2015 at Balai Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau, Instalasi Pembenihan Udang (IPU) Gelung, Situbondo Provinsi Jawa Timur. The purpose of this research was to investigate optimum doses calcium oxide to accelerate moulting and the survival rate vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). Vannamei shrimp with size PL25 were used in the research. The stoples that used 25L and filled with water 20L. The treatment given is giving of calcium oxide with different doses namely dose of 25mg, 50mg, 75mg, 100mg and added with the control treatment. This research uses Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 1 factor 3 levels and 3 replication. Calcium Oxide (CaO) with doses of 75mg can produce intensity of moulting 43 times and survival rate vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) of 85%.Keywords: Calcium Oxide, Vannamei shrimp, moulting, survival rate
