Abstract

Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-COV 2). Penyebaran COVID-19 sangat cepat sehingga mudah menginfeksi anak balita. Ibu memiliki peran penting dalam melindungi anak balitanya dari COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran sikap dan tindakan ibu dalam mencegah COVID-19 pada anak balita. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode cross sectional. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 17 pernyataan tentang sikap dan tindakan ibu dalam mencegah COVID-19 pada anak balita dan diberikan kepada 173 responden yang memiliki anak balita usia 12 - 59 bulan di Kelurahan Tangkerang Utara, Kota Pekanbaru. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sederhana yang disajikan dalam tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap ibu berada pada kategori positif dengan jumlah 89 responden (51,4%), dan tindakan ibu berada pada kategori baik dengan jumlah 100 responden (57,8%). Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ibu dengan anak balita usia 12 - 59 bulan di Kelurahan Tangkerang Utara, Kota Pekanbaru memiliki sikap positif dan tindakan yang baik dalam mencegah COVID-19.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV 2). The spread of COVID-19 is so fast that it is easy to infect toddlers. Mothers have a vital role in protecting their children from COVID-19. This study aims to determine the description of mothers' attitudes in preventing COVID-19 in toddlers. The research design is descriptive quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of 17 statements about mothers' attitudes in preventing COVID-19 in toddlers and given to 173 respondents with toddlers aged 12 - 59 months in North Tangkerang, Pekanbaru. The data analysis using a simple descriptive presented in the frequency distribution table. The results showed that the mother's attitude was in the positive category with a total of 89 respondents (51,4%). It can be concluded that mothers with toddlers aged 12 - 59 months in North Tangkerang, Pekanbaru have positive attitudes in preventing COVID-19. This research is expected to contribute to nursing science regarding mothers' attitudes in preventing COVID-19 in toddlers.Keywords : Attitudes, COVID-19, Mothers, Toddlers

Abstract

Visual Inspection Acetic (VIA) is one of the practical early detection efforts for cervical cancer, it is very easy to do with simple equipment and the price is affordable for the wider community.  This study aims to determine the effect of health education with calendar poster media about VIA examination on the behavior of performing VIA in women of childbearing age for cervical cancer prevention. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. This research was conducted in  the Puskesmas Sapta Taruna, Bukit Raya with a sample of 34 respondents who were taken based on inclusion criteria using purposive sampling. Data collection tool using a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used the Wilcoxon. The results of the univariate analysis of the majority of respondents were in the age of 30-40 years (52,9%). The majority of respondents are at the education level of SMA (58,8%). The majority of occupations are domestic workers (79,4%). The results of bivariate analysis with wilcoxon obtained p value (0.000) < α (0.05). This means that Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that there are differences in the behavior of women of childbearing age before and after being given health education with calendar poster. Health education with calendar poster media about VIA examination has an effect on the behavior of performing VIA in women of childbearing age for cervical cancer prevention. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for health facilities in providing information and services regarding VIA examinations to improve behavior in conducting VIA as an early detection of cervical cancer.Keywords: calendar poster; cervical cancer; VIA examination; VIA screening.

Abstract

The hybrid learning method is used as a learning method starting from second year of  the pandemic period to the current post-pandemic. The implementation of learning with this method has an affects students' learning motivation. Learning motivation is a desire that arises in oneself as encouragement to carry out learning activities, so high learning motivation is very important to achieve good learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of student learning motivation after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study was a quantitative study with a descriptive method. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with 240 respondents. The measuring instrument used is the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnare (MSLQ) that have been tested for validity dan reability. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents are 17-25 years, female gender are 216 respondents (90,0%), year of college  2021 are 62 respondents (26,3%), status of residence boarding house are 168 respondents  (70,0%), gadget used smartphone and laptop are 206 respondents (85,8%), and family income Rp. 3.000.000 – 6.000.000 are 102 respondents (42,5%). The results of learning motivation are categorized as high (78,3%). Student learning motivation after the covid-19 pandemic is in the high category, so it is expected that students can maintain learning motivation.Keywords: learning motivation, post covid-19 pandemic, university students

Abstract

behavior of preschoolers. This study aims to determine the description of the development of emotional behavior of preschool-aged children who attend PAUD and not PAUD. This study uses a descriptive design with a cross-sectional. The sample of this research is mothers who have preschool children aged 3-6 years, totaling 60 respondents who were taken based on inclusion criteria using the purposive sampling technique. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of respondents were aged 26-35 years (63.3%), and respondents were at the high school education level (60%). The age distribution of the majority of children is 6 years old (56.7%), male gender (56.7%). This study also describes the development of emotional behavior of preschool-aged children who are PAUD and not PAUD. It was found that the majority of children's emotional development following PAUD was normal for as many as 22 respondents (73.3%), while the majority of children's emotional behavior development did not follow PAUD, namely there might be problems for 20 respondents (66.7%). PAUD provides stimulation that can help the development of children's emotional behavior. Parents can make Early Childhood Education an option to stimulate the development of emotional behavior of preschoolers.Keywords: Development; early childhood education; emotional behavior; preschool age children.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pengetahuan yang adekuat dan tepat tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 untuk ibu hamil diduga dapat menurunkan kecemasan ibu hamil untuk melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 75 responden yang diambil berdasarkan kriteria inklusi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil: Dari 75 responden yang diteliti, mayoritas ibu berada pada usia 26-35 tahun yaitu 49,3%, mayoritas ibu berada pada usia kehamilan tirmester 2 yaitu 53,3%, dengan pendidikan terakhir ibu SMA 54,7%, mayoritas agama ibu islam 52%, mayoritas pekerjaan ibu sebagai IRT 54%, 72% ibu sudah mendapat informasi tentang vaksin Covid-19 dengan sumber informasi mayoritas dari keluarga 25,3%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan mayoritas pengetahuan ibu hamil cukup yaitu sebanyak 40 orang (53,3%). Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ibu hamil memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang vaksinasi Covid-19.Kata kunci: Ibu hamil, pengetahuan, vaksinasi Covid-19AbstractBackground: Adequate and appropriate knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination for pregnant women is expected to reduce the anxiety of pregnant women to carry out Covid-19 vaccinations. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan semua orang terisolasi termasuk remaja. Semua aktivitas dilakukan secara online. Hal ini menyebabkan peningkatan penggunaan internet untuk mengakses media sosial sebagai sarana berkomunikasi. Usia remaja merupakan usia peralihan dari masa anak-anak menuju masa dewasa yang dikhawatirkan belum mampu mengontrol penggunaan media sosial secara positif sehingga berdampak pada remaja berupa kecanduan. Desain cross sectional dilakukan pada 89 responden anak usia remaja di SMPN 5 Pekanbaru menggunakan teknik proposional random sampling. Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS) digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kecanduan media sosial, sementara Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) digunakan untuk mengukur kesehatan mental. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan uji Fisher. Hasil statistik didapatkan hasil tidak ada kecanduan media sosial terhadap kesehatan mental dengan gejala perilaku prososial (p value 0,281), masalah perilaku (p value 0,346), hubungan dengan teman sebaya (p value 0,072) yang berarti p value > ? (0,05), tetapi pada kecanduan media sosial dan kesehatan mental gejala emosional menunjukkan p value 0,001 dan gejala hiperaktivitas (p value 0,036) yang berarti p value < ? (0,05), ada hubungan antara kecanduan media sosial terhadap kesehatan mental dengan gejala emosional. Penggunaan media sosial yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan remaja mengalami perubahan kesehatan mental berupa perilaku prososial, emosional, masalah perilaku, hiperaktivitas, dan masalah dengan teman sebaya.

Abstract

Introduction: Getting used to drinking water, especially for preschool-age children, is very difficult, these children only want to drink water while eating, so this needs to be considered, especially for preschoolers who have infectious diseases. Fluid and electrolyte balance is one element of energy conservation. The goal of health education about fluids and electrolytes in children will make mothers understand, understand and be able to make appropriate decisions if they encounter signs of dehydration in children. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of health education about fluid needs in children affecting the level of mother's knowledge about the fluid needs of children treated in the Children's Room. Methods: This study uses a quantitative type with a quasi-experimental design. The population is the mother of the child patient. The sample is 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The measuring tool used was a questionnaire on the level of mother's knowledge of fluid needs in children who had been tested for validity with a p value: 0.05 and a reliability test with Cronbach's alpha: 0.924, so that it could be concluded that 25 question items were valid and reliable. The analysis used was bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxone test. Results: the knowledge variable before being given health education about the fluid needs of the majority of children has less knowledge as many as 17 respondents (56.7%). After being given health education about children's fluid needs, the respondents' knowledge increased to be good, namely 20 respondents (66.7%) with the results of the chi square test with a p value: 0.002. Conclusion: Health education is effective on the level of mother's knowledge about the fluid needs of children treated in the Pediatric Room of Arifin Hospital

Abstract

Anxiety before childbirth is the main psychological problem experienced by pregnant women. Mindfulness bonding between mother and fetus is a technique that can increase the emotional bond between mother and fetus so as to reduce anxiety. The implementation of this mindfulness bonding intervention for mother and fetus can be done using a smartphone so that it can be accessed without the time and place limits. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the mindfulness bonding intervention of mother and fetus using a smartphone on the anxiety of pregnant women before delivery. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre and post-test design with a control group. The sample of this research was 34 pregnant women before delivery, divided into two groups, namely 17 respondents of pregnant women in the experimental group and 17 pregnant women in the control group by using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using the PRAQ-R2 questionnaire and the MIESRA application with data analysis using a t-test. There was a significant change before and after being given the mindfulness bonding intervention of mother and fetus using a smartphone on the anxiety of pregnant women before delivery (p-value = 0.001). The mindfulness bonding intervention of mother and fetus using a smartphone with the MIESRA application is effective in reducing the anxiety level of pregnant women before delivery.
