Abstract

Abstract This research is based on the importance of the emotional relationship between teachers and students in supporting learning motivation. Positive attachment is believed to be able to form a sense of security, increase participation, and encourage student achievement in the elementary school environment. This study aims to analyze the pattern of teachers' attachment to the learning motivation of phase B students (grades 3 and 4) at SDN 2 Kramatmulya. The method used is a qualitative approach with observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation study techniques. The results of the study show that the secure attachment pattern dominates, with the characteristics of a supportive and responsive teacher-student relationship, so that it has a very positive effect on learning motivation. The avoidant attachment pattern was found in small numbers and negatively impacted student enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the pattern of anxious attachment appears non-dominantly, causing students' motivation to learn to be unstable. A pattern of disorganized attachment was not found in this study. This research corroborates Bowlby's theory of attachment that a secure relationship between teacher and student is an important foundation in the development of children's learning motivation. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop a feasible Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) instrument for Level 1 to be used in Grades I and II at SD Negeri 2 Citenjo, Kuningan, West Java, and (2) evaluate the effectiveness of the instrument in supporting learning in Grades I and II. This research employs a development method (Research and Development/R&D) based on the Borg and Gall development model, which consists of three main stages: (1) preliminary study, (2) development, and (3) testing and implementation. The preliminary testing subjects consisted of two expert validators, while the main testing subjects included 21 second-grade students. Data collection instruments included interview guidelines, AKM instrument evaluation questionnaires by expert validators (curriculum 2013 experts and evaluation instrument experts), and teacher response questionnaires to the product. Data analysis utilized Aiken’s V statistical technique to assess validity during the limited trial, while product effectiveness was tested through student test results. Item quality analysis included difficulty level, item discrimination, and reliability testing. The research results indicate that during the limited trial stage, the Level 1 AKM instrument was deemed highly feasible, with an average Aiken’s V score of 0.862, reflecting very high validity. Effectiveness testing showed that the Level 1 AKM instrument could accurately measure students' literacy and numeracy skills across four competency categories. In terms of item quality, the AKM instrument demonstrated good item discrimination and a proportional difficulty level to reflect students' literacy and numeracy abilities. Reliability testing yielded excellent results, with a range of 0.96 for literacy components and 0.94 for numeracy components.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) develop appropriate learning materials for the subject learning curriculum for students at PGSD Kuningan University and 2) determine the effectiveness of learning materials for the subject learning curriculum for students at PGSD Kuningan University. This type of research is research and development (R&D). This research development stage refers to the Borg and Gall development model which has been grouped into three groups, namely: 1) preliminary study, 2) development and 3) testing and implementation. Preliminary test subjects are two expert validators. The main test subjects were students of PGSD Universitas Kuningan Semester V. The instrument of data collection used a material expert assessment sheet, a student response questionnaire sheet on the product. The data analysis technique of the validator's assessment results in the limited test used Aiken's V. The data analysis technique used scoring. The results of this study are as follows: 1) the results of the assessment of learning materials for the subject learning curriculum average score of Aiken's V is 0.918 because the range of V numbers is between 0 to 1.00, the product developed is categorized very feasibly. 2) The average percentage of each indicator in the questionnaire is 86.89%. This figure can be interpreted that the product of learning materials for the subject learning curriculum that has been made is very effective because it is in the range of 81%–100%.

Abstract

Educational development through education must be adjusted to the needs of the community. Changes in the learning process under the 2013 Curriculum have significantly affected teachers’ readiness to implement it in schools. Based on the results of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) conducted with elementary school teachers in the Kuningan region, it was found that most teachers still experience difficulties in implementing learning processes in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum. These findings indicate the need for further investigation into the factors causing teachers’ difficulties in applying the curriculum-based learning process. Therefore, this study aims to examine the implementation of process standards in the 2013 Curriculum at the elementary school level. This research employed a case study method and was conducted at public elementary schools in Kuningan Regency, namely SD Negeri Dukuhdalem (Japara District), SD Negeri 1 Manislor (Jalaksana District), and SD Negeri 1 Purwawinangun (Kuningan District). The research instruments used were observation sheets and interview guides. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles in implementing the syllabus under the 2013 Curriculum include a lack of socialization regarding changes in syllabus content, teachers’ difficulties in preparing lesson plans—particularly in incorporating activities aligned with the scientific approach—and discrepancies between the required learning materials and those provided in textbooks. In terms of classroom management, teachers faced challenges related to their limited readiness to adapt to changes in the learning process. Furthermore, in the assessment aspect, most teachers reported difficulties due to the complexity of the assessment system and the limited availability of assessment instruments. These findings suggest that teachers still encounter significant challenges in fully implementing the learning and assessment processes mandated by the 2013 Curriculum.
