Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this Maritime Thematic KKN activity is the creation of an independent village that is able to manage and map every potential that exists in the village by utilizing information technology, as well as creating wider space for business actors with mini e-commerce to promote business / potential owned for the sake of improving the economy of rural communities in general. With specific targets, namely (1) developing and implementing technology that is directly useful in the community, (2) realizing business management and marketing potential in the village by utilizing mini e -commerce. This Maritime Thematic KKN activity method is a workshop method in the form of training and mentoring to the community through intensive training on the use of village information systems with mini e-commerce so that all targets and outputs are expected through the implementation of this Maritime Thematic KKN activity. increase the economic potential of the community.

Abstract

Olele Village is one of the villages in Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency which has various potentials, especially marine tourism potential and other goods. However, if assessed in terms of the use of information technology, these potentials would need be better managed by utilizing information technology for digital publications or marketing. This community service activity aims to facilitate the community and village government in managing and promoting the potential and marketing of natural resources or human resources in Olele Village. In addition, this activity also aims to facilitate village officials in managing population administration through the implementation of a village information system. The method used in this activity is socialization and training for village officials and the community. The community service activities were conducted successfully and well appreciated by the village government and the community.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) also influences the education sector, ICT is encouraged to be able to support education as a medium that is quite effective to accommodate interaction between lecturers/teachers and students without the limits of space and time. The purpose of this research is to develop skills assessment using simulation software and to improve student understanding of each lecture material as well as student competency in the field of network security. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The results of the research are the development of learning media in the form of skills assessment and the prototype of a mobile-based learning application to measure learning achievement in the field of network security.

Abstract

Desa Botutonuo adalah salah satu desa di Kecamatan Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango yang memiliki berbagai macam potensi terutama potensi wisata bahari. Namun demikian, jika dinilai dari segi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, maka potensi ini masih perlu dikelola lebih baik lagi dengan cara memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk melakukan publikasi ataupun promosi pariwisata yang ada. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam mengelola dan mempromosikan potensi Desa Botutonuo terutama dalam sektor pariwisata. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk memudahkan aparat desa dalam mengelola administrasi kependudukan melalui implementasi sistem informasi desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendampingan bagi aparat desa maupun masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung dengan sukses dan mendapatkan apresiasi yang sangat baik dari pemerintah desa dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Kemahasiswaan Terpadu (SIMANTAP) is an online-based information system for student services within the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This application system can be accessed on the https://simantap.ung.ac.id page. The main problem faced in its application is the service process of issuing a Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah (SKPI)/(Diploma Supplement), which is long enough for graduates to wait several months to receive SKPI documents. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the factors that affect SIMANTAP services, namely human, technological, and organizational factors, using the HOT-Fit model. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, and the data analysis technique is SEM-PLS using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study show that: (1) the successful implementation of the SIMANTAP application system in UNG is at the level of 77.7% and is included in the strong or successful category; (2) evaluation of the factors that affect the successful implementation of SIMANTAP in UNG are as follows: system quality and information quality have an influence on system use, service quality, and system use influence user satisfaction, the organizational environment has an influence on organizational structure, and organizational structure and organizational environment influence SIMANTAP's net benefit.Sistem Informasi Kemahasiswaan Terpadu (SIMANTAP) merupakan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis online untuk layanan kemahasiswaan di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Sistem aplikasi ini dapat diakses melalui laman https://simantap.ung.ac.id. Pada penerapannya, permasalahan utama yang dihadapi, yaitu lamanya proses penerbitan Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah (SKPI) sehingga para wisudawan masih harus menunggu beberapa bulan untuk dapat menerima dokumen SKPI. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi faktor–faktor yang mempengaruhi layanan SIMANTAP dengan menggunakan model HOT-Fit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dan teknik analisis data adalah SEM-PLS dengan menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keberhasilan penerapan sistem aplikasi SIMANTAP di UNG berada pada level 77.7% dan termasuk dalam kategori kuat atau berhasil; (2) evaluasi terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan penerapan SIMANTAP di UNG adalah: kualitas sistem dan kualitas informasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap penggunaan sistem, kualitas layanan dan penggunaan sistem memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna, lingkungan organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap struktur organisasi, dan struktur organisasi dan lingkungan organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap manfaat (net benefit) SIMANTAP.

Abstract

3D animation is easy to describe for presenting visual information attractively and realistically, making it an ideal choice for attraction promotion but more difficult to work with. This study aimed to develop 3D animated videos and test their effectiveness as an information medium for promoting tourist attractions. The research method used was the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. Designing and creating 3D objects using Google SketchUp, rendering them in animation using Lumion, and editing animated videos using Adobe Premiere Pro CC. The results of the feasibility test by media experts show that 95% of the categories are feasible regarding animation quality and appearance. The feasibility test of 35 people as respondents from the community showed that, in terms of aspects of the display, quality, speed, brightness, time duration, and selection of viewing angles, 90% were found to be in very appropriate categories. These results indicate that 3D animated videos developed using Sketchup and Lumion are worthy of use as information media to promote tourist attractions.

Abstract

The level of students' interest in the concept of sorting algorithms is still low, mostly due to the use of traditional teaching methods by teachers, where students are less engaged in the active learning process. This method is often ineffective in helping students understand the concept of sorting algorithms comprehensively. Therefore, this study aims to rectify this situation by using project-based learning methods, which are expected to enhance students' comprehension. In this study, a pre-experimental study was conducted using a one-group pretest-posttest design to assess the impact of implementing the new method. The study's results demonstrate a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, as seen by the disparity in scores between the pretest and posttest. On average increase of 14.167 and (Sig.) 0.000, with a value lower than 0.05, these data indicate that the project-based learning method successfully improves students' understanding of sorting algorithms significantly. ABSTRAK Tingkat ketertarikan Siswa terhadap konsep algoritma pengurutan masih rendah, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh penggunan metode pengajaran yang bersifat konvensional oleh guru, di mana siswa kurang dilibatkan dalam proses belajar aktif. Metode ini sering kali tidak efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep algoritma pengurutan secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, adapun tujuannya guna memperbaiki situasi ini dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran project based learning yang mampu memberikan pemahaman lebih kepada siswa. Dilakukannya studi pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group – pretest posttest pada penelitian ini guna menilai dampak penerapan metode baru tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan adanya peningkatan yang tinggi dalam hasil belajar Siswa, yang terlihat dari perbedaan skor antara pretest dan posttest. Dengan nilai rata-rata peningkatan 14,167 dengan (Sig.) 0,000 yang berada < 0,05, hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwasanya model pembelajaran project based leaerning berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman Siswa tentang algoritma pengurutan secara signifikan.

Abstract

Pada tahun anggaran 2021-2022 Bantuan Stimulan Rumah Swadaya (BSRS) mendapat alokasi peningkatan kualitas sebanyak 110 unit dengan lokasi dikawasan kumuh yang ditetapkan pada SK Walikota tentang lokasi perumahaan dan pemukiman kumuh di Kota Gorontalo, yang meliputi 18 kecamatan yaitu Limba U satu, Pohe, Tenda, Tanjung kramat, Bugis, Leato selatan, Leato utara, Talumolo, Tamulabutao, Buliide, Dembe 1, Lekobalo, Pilolodaa, Tenilo, Heledulaa utara, Padebuolo, Dembe 2, dan Dembe jaya. permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini adalah tidak adanya metode pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh pihak instansi sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kurang tepatnya penyaluran bantuan kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu merancang Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Bantuan Stimulan Rumah Swadaya Berbasis Web di Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil akhir yang diharapkan bisa membantu Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Pemukiman Kota Gorontalo dalam mengambil keputusan dengan menggunakan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penerima Bantuan Stimulan Rumah Swadaya (BSRS) menggunakan metode Multi Attribute Rating Technique.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pengguna aplikasi Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) dalam menggunakan Metode End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) Di Universitas Gorontalo.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 92 orang sebagai responden yang merupakan mahasiswa angkatan 2019-2021 yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa terbanyak dan civitas akademik  yaitu pada tiga  Fakultas. Fakultas Kesahatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Ekonomi, dan Fakultas Hukum, seluruh dosen, dan pegawai akademik di Universitas Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode EUCS yang terdiri dari content, accuracy, format, ease of use dan timeliness semua aspek memiliki kriteria cukup baik atau cukup puas, yang paling tinggi nilainya yaitu aspek content dengan jumlah persentase 68.7% dengan kriteria cukup baik dan aspek yang paling rendah nilainya yaitu aspek timeliness dengan jumlah persentase 50.0% dengan kriteria cukup baik. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis parsial  aspek content dan format berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna, namun aspek accuracy, ease of use, dan timeliness tidak berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Tetapi secara simultan menunjukkan nilai sig. uji f sebesar 0.000 0.05 dan nilai f-hitung 5.466 f-table 3.10 menunjukkan seluruh aspek metode EUCS yang terdiri dari content, accuracy, format, ease of use dan timelines berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Nilai  koefisien determinasi (r square) sebesar 0,241 artinya persentase sumbangan pengaruh content, accuracy, format, ease of use dan timeliness dengan kepuasan pengguna sebesar 24,1% sedangkan sisanya 75,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan kedalam penelitian ini.Kata Kunci: SIAKAD; EUCS; Kepuasan Pengguna

Abstract

Public complaints are a form of community participation to play a role in building the environment as well as a form of monitoring the performance of government agencies. Currently, the North City District Office does not yet have a public complaint service or system. So it is necessary to have a Public Complaints Information System to submit public complaints that are intended specifically for the North City District government and the application responds quickly to complaints, suggestions, a place to accommodate aspirations, first aid for humanitarian and emergency communities. The design used in this research is the Prototype method. This research produces a Quick Response and Community Complaints Information System to make it easier for the public to submit complaints which will be addressed specifically to the North City District government and can speed up the complaint time in real time because it is based on a Progressive Web App (PWA) that can be read by sub-district staff and forwarded. to the sub-district head for the complaint process.Keywords: Complaints, PWA, Prototype.
