Abstract

The building envelope, which serves as the boundary layer between the interior and exterior, plays a crucial role in regulating heat exchange. The shape of the building also impacts heat distribution and airflow within and around the structure. The orientation of the building, particularly in relation to the sun, determines how much solar radiation it receives, directly affecting the building's thermal load.Using Sefaira, a building performance simulation software, researchers can visualize and optimize these thermal aspects. This simulation allows them to experiment with various scenarios related to the building envelope, shape, and orientation to achieve ideal thermal conditions, which are not only comfortable for occupants but also energy-efficient.The findings of this research are expected to provide new insights into sustainable architectural design, especially in tropical regions like Lampung. By understanding and applying the correct thermal principles, buildings can be designed to minimize energy usage for cooling or heating, supporting efforts to reduce the impacts of climate change

Abstract

Islamic architecture as a foundation in building Muslim worship facilities in the form of mosques has developed its meaning along with advances in science and technology. One of the concepts in designing a mosque is to ensure that the congregation can close the rows of rows. Based on the verses of the Qur'an regarding the priority of rows in congregational prayers, effort (rashshus shufūf) in congregational prayers is something that is ordered in the Qur'an and hadith.It thenmanifested in the Islamic architectural design of the Klangenan Insan Mulia Boarding School Mosque in the form of providing a center column so that the prayer halls are not interrupted due to the presence of middle columns. As a consequence of the design, the structure of the mosque required several adjustments which were well planned and efficient. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with descriptive analysis supported by modeling simulation and load strength analysis using ETAB V. 16 software, so that the results obtained in the form of structural calculations for steel rafter roof construction using the bridge structure model. The steel rafter roof construction with the bridge structure model was chosen due to several factors including: strength, practicality, and design flexibility.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul "Dampak Citra Kota Terhadap Pertumbuhan Kawasan" dapatmemberikan kontribusi mendasar pada bidang keahlian ilmu arsitektur dan urban,terutama dalam memahami hubungan antara citra kota dan pertumbuhan kawasan.Penelitian ini dapat melibatkan pengumpulan data tentang citra kota dari masyarakat,baik dari sudut pandang visual, fisik, maupun sosial-budaya. Selain itu, penelitian inidapat mengkaji dampak citra kota terhadap pertumbuhan kawasan, sepertipengaruhnya pada tingkat investasi, daya tarik pariwisata, kualitas lingkungan hidup,dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat teridentifikasifaktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi citra kota dan dampaknya pada pertumbuhankawasan, sehingga dapat dikembangkan rencana dan strategi pembangunan kawasanyang lebih baik dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga dapat memberikan masukanuntuk para praktisi dalam merencanakan pembangunan kawasan yang mengutamakankeberlanjutan lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Selain itu, penelitian ini dapat menjadireferensi bagi akademisi dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan di bidangarsitektur dan urban, serta sebagai acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya tentang citrakota dan dampaknya pada kawasan perkotaan.

Abstract

The current industrial revolution 4.0 has a major impact on the Indonesian economy, one of which is the emergence of startup business models. The current millennial generation is required to be able to innovate, collaborate and create new discoveries. The need for co-working space is important because it can accommodate these activities with its flexible and collaborative nature. Working indoors continuously for long periods of time can cause nature deficit disorders or reduce human well-being and can cause stress due to lack of interaction with nature. Biophilic design is a solution to reduce stress levels in workers because it has a positive impact on health. The basic concept of biophilic is to connect humans and nature in architecture. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection and data analysis techniques include observation, documentation and literature study through scientific references. The design of the co-working space in Bandar Lampung aims to provide a new space for the young generation to be creative, collaborate and create new discoveries supported by a biophilic approach to reduce user stress levels and support the creative process of innovation. The basic concept of biophilic is applied well in buildings by implementing 14 biophilic design patterns.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen pembentuk citra ruang publik yang ramah di kawasan Bundaran HI, Jakarta. Kawasan ini merupakan pusat aktivitas perkotaan yang memiliki berbagai elemen fisik, sosial, dan visual yang kompleks, sehingga penting untuk mengevaluasi kualitas ruang publiknya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan studi kasus, penelitian ini menganalisis elemen citra kota berdasarkan teori Kevin Lynch (1960) yang mencakup path, edge, node, district, dan landmark. Selain itu, elemen ruang publik ramah juga dikaji berdasarkan empat kategori dari Shaftoe (2008): fisik, geografis, manajerial, dan psikologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, dokumentasi visual, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bundaran HI telah memenuhi sebagian besar elemen pembentuk citra kota dan ruang publik ramah, terutama dari aspek imageability dan konektivitas transportasi. Namun, beberapa aspek seperti kenyamanan mikroklimatik, persebaran tempat duduk, dan keberagaman aktivitas masih perlu ditingkatkan untuk menciptakan ruang publik yang lebih inklusif dan berkesan.
