Abstract

Poverty is described as the inability to meet basic needs due to lack of income, making it increasingly difficult to guarantee survival (Suryawati, 2004). When a country's poverty rate is high, the purchasing power of its citizens decreases which has a negative impact on economic growth (Fajri & Iriani, 2022). This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth on the poverty rate in Makassar City, and to determine the effect of unemployment on the poverty rate in Makassar City by using primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques, literature studies and interviews, and then analyzed qualitatively (Ishak et al. , 2020). The results of the study show that the inability to access education and health and proper employment has subsequently had an impact on increasing the number of unemployed in the workforce. In other words, poverty can have an impact on unemployment and a lack of income, and then unemployment itself creates a poor community

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how culture encourages achievement motivation of students studying Social Sciences and how the form of achievement motivation of students learning Social Sciences in class V UPT SDF Negeri Kakatua. This study aims to find out the form of learning in encouraging student achievement motivation in social studies and to find out the form of achievement motivation of fifth grade students at UPT SDF Negeri Kakatua. This type of research is qualitative research and uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 2 class teachers and 5 students of class V UPT SDF Negeri Kakatua. Data collection techniques using: observation, interviews, and documentation. While the validity of the data in this study uses source triangulation. The results of the study show that: (1) the student learning culture has been implemented by the teacher who teaches in the class (2) student achievement motivation is important in achieving learning achievement The teacher's role is very important to improve student achievement by providing achievement motivation. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded (1) Student learning culture is something that needs to be implemented by teachers and carried out by students to support student behavior at school and outside school (2) achievement motivation needs to be given to students to support student achievement and student learning outcomes .

Abstract

Social Study learning will show satisfactory results, if the teacher is able to choose the right media in teaching. So that students have an interest and have high activity to ask in accordance with the expectations of students and teachers, one of which is in the process of delivering social studies lessons using animated film media to improve student learning. Social animated film media is one of social studies teaching media that is used to explain some natural and other phenomena. With this media students know more and are clear about the concepts of social studies learning and its content. Likewise students in the teaching-learning process need to get the learning process so that their learning achievement increases. This study describes social animated films and students' activeness in social studies learning. The results of this study through observation, interviews with fourth grade teachers and fourth grade students at SDI Borisallo, Gowa Regency resulted that students liked learning by using social animated films rather than not using them. They also have a high curiosity about new things and find it interesting after carrying out learning with the help of social animated films. Students also rarely use learning media in social studies lessons, so that if the teacher uses media in learning, students will feel happy and more enthusiastic and active in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk megetahui adaptasi budaya belajar siswa dan dampak adaptasi budaya belajar siswa kelas II di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP 1 Makassar terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran IPS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap pra lapangan, tahap lapangan dan tahap penyususnan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP 1 Makassar. Teknik keabsahan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji kredibilitas (validalitas internal), transferabilitas (validitas eksternal), dependabilitas (reliabilitas), dan konfirmabilitas (objektivitas). Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 November - 25 November menunjukkan bahwa hasil yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi adalah pendidikan saat ini terjadi dari adanya interaksi langsung antara peserta didik dan guru, namun dikarenakan adanya pergantian kurikulum baru yaitu kurikulum merdeka membawa pengaruh besar terhadap masa adaptasi bagi tenaga pengajar dan peserta didik terhadap mekanisme dari sistem pembelajaran yang baru. Pada kurikulum merdeka terjadi interkasi keterlibatan siswa yang lebih tinggi, relevansi materi IPS, peningkatan minat siswa, terjalin hubungan yang lebih baik antara guru dan siswa, serta motivasi belajar siswa yang meningkat karena hubungan materi dengan kehidupan mereka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adaptasi budaya belajar siswa kelas II SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP 1 Makassar terdahap implementasi kurkulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran IPS berjalan dengan lancar. Kurikulum merdeka belajar diterapkan di kelas II SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP 1 Makassar kurang lebih 7 bulan lamanya. Hal ini tentunya membawa banyak perubahan-perubahan terhadap adaptasi budaya belajar siswa disekolah. Fakta yang terlihat di lapangan bahwa siswa saat ini lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan kurikulum sebelumnya yaitu kurikulum K13. Maka adaptasi budaya belajar siswa SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP 1 Makassar terhadap pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka membawa perubahan yang sangat besar bagi guru dan juga siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan metode guided note taking dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ips di UPT SDN No.02 Tarowang. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitin ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pendekatan kualitatif adalah suatu pendekatan dalam melakukan penelitian yang berorientasi pada gejala-gejala yang bersifat alamiah karena orientasinya. Waktu yang digunakan selama penelitian di UPT SDN No. 02 Tarowang Kabupaten Jeneponto yaitu selama kurang dari 1 bulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar IPS dapat ditingkatkan dengan penerapan strategi Guided note taking berbantu pada peserta didik kelas IV UPT SD NO.02 Tarowang. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil belajar peserta didik yang meningkat berdasarkan Analisis proses penggunaan metode pembelajaran Guided Note Taking dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, Dampak dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran Guided Note Taking dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dan Problematika dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran Guided Note Taking dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV UPT SDN No. 02 Tarowang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Sipaurangi 3D pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas IV SDI Gunung Sari Baru Kota Makassar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model ADDIE oleh Branch meliputi Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, angket respon guru dan siswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan media pembelajaran, lembar observasi self-efficacy, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Pertama, kevalidan media pembelajaran sipaurangi 3D berdasarkan ahli materi yaitu 97,22% sedangkan ahli media yaitu 97,21% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Kedua, kepraktisan media pembelajaran sipaurangi 3D berdasarkan angket respon guru dan siswa memperoleh nilai persentase masing-masing 100% kategori sangat praktis. Ketiga, keefektifan media pembelajaran sipaurangi 3D berdasarkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa memperoleh nilai 96,33%, berdasarkan hasil observasi self-efficacy memperoleh nilai 98,83%, serta berdasarkan observasi keterlaksanaan media pembelajaran memperoleh nilai 98,33% secara keseluruhan termasuk kedalam kategori sangat praktis. Maka, dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi untuk peneliti selanjutnya dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the socio-cultural dynamics among multiethnic and religious communities within the Bosowa Indah housing area of Makassar city, with an emphasis on promoting social integration. Utilizing qualitative methods through a case study approach, data were gathered via direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research focuses on social integration and socio-cultural relations, drawing upon theories grounded in functional structural paradigms, including Parsons' AGIL theory and Durkheim's concept of social solidarity, as well as symbolic interactionism and additional population theories. The findings indicate that Bosowa Indah is inhabited by a diverse urban population, with social interactions categorized into three types: formal interaction, informal interaction, and limited interaction. These interactions give rise to social and cultural products, reflected in established systems of values and norms, habits, and community practices that encourage social integration. Social integration is assessed through various dimensions: the establishment of trust among residents, the cultivation of shared values, cultural practices that foster a harmonious and peaceful society, and the development of a common identity. The results of this study offer significant theoretical insights for the advancement of sociology, particularly in the realm of urban sociology within a functional structural paradigm. Additionally, these findings can serve as a valuable reference for multiethnic community groups aiming to sustain social integration.

Abstract

The current development of digital technology has a significant impact on education, facilitating the learning process and creating an atmosphere that is not monotonous. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods with the aim of: 1) Understanding the development of educational game learning media, 2) Designing educational game learning media, 3) Assessing the validity of educational game learning media, 4) Assessing the practicality of educational game learning media, 5 ) Assessing the effectiveness of educational game learning media. The research was conducted at SD Inpres 5/81 Watu, Kab. Bone, with 12 students as subjects and 2 validators (material/content and media). Data collection uses a needs identification questionnaire, material/content validation, media validation, field trials, as well as teacher and student responses. The research results show: 1) Student needs are in the required qualifications, 2) Educational game learning media products are designed based on the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, 3) Validation by material/content and media experts shows very valid qualifications, 4) The practicality of the media as seen from the results of field trials is in very good qualifications, 5) The learning outcomes test (pre-test) is quite effective, and the post-test is very effective. The products developed are valid, practical and effective in improving Pancasila learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Minasa Upa Makassar City on the subject of science learning through the Mind Map learning model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles, each cycle is carried out for four meetings. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 16 fourth-grade students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Minasa Upa Makassar City. Data collection techniques were observation, tests (evaluation) and documentation analysis. Data were obtained through observation and tests, which were then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Mind Map model can improve student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average student score was 69.37 from all students (16 people) with a learning completion rate of 43.75% which reached the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP). In cycle II, the average score increased to 86.25, and all 16 students successfully achieved learning completion (100%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of science and natural sciences in grade IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Minasa Upa, Makassar City can be improved through the Mind Map learning model.

Abstract

The research objectives were to find out 1) the application of the Number Head Together (NHT) Cooperative learning model to Grade V students at SDI Bukkangraki, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency; 2) Achievement Motivation of Class V Students in the Application of the Number Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model at SDI Bukkangraki, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency; 3) Learning Outcomes of Class V Students in Number Head Together (NHT) Type Cooperative Learning at SDI Bukkangraki, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusion. The research results obtained are the application of the Number Head Together (NHT) Cooperative learning model directing students to work together in groups so that they can motivate achievement in learning success, seen from the enthusiasm and activeness of students in the learning process and being able to understand and do assignments in a timely manner with friends groups, making students interact with other students in class, while learning achievement can be assessed from three domains, namely affective, cognitive, psychomotor so that the achievement of student learning outcomes is maximized.
