Abstract

This research is aimed studied duty execution Counselling of Pertanian in field and studying relation to acting communications, analysing activity which and create appliance assist or relevant counselling media. An underlying method employed in the research is a analytical descriptive method wit explanatory strategy, topical, Focuss Grup Discussion (FGD) and formulation of model. The result of research shows that agriculture extension agent in executing duty accustomed use counselling media which in the form of leaflet and poster. Farmer majority express items understanding will which is given so that they often apply felt items as according to requirement. Effort to increase communications affectiveness is to through small discussion and extension agent uplifting of skill. While appliance and method assist matching with condition local society is meeting or discourse by means of appliance assist leaflet.

Abstract

This study aims to study farmer attitude in UPSUS PAJALE program in Sukoharjo regency, to examine the factors that influence farmers attitudes in UPSUS PAJALE program in Sukoharjo regency, to examine the influence of factors influencing farmer attitude on UPSUS PAJALE program in Sukoharjo regency. The basic method of research  is  quantitative  by  survey  technique.  The  location  of  the  research  is determined purposively in Sukoharjo District, precisely in the outboard village and Sraten (Gatak), Duwet and Menuran (Baki), and Klumprit and Sapen (Mojolaban) villages with the consideration of production in 2015 showing the highest production (Gatak) medium (Tray), and low production (Mojolaban). The sampling method used is proportional random sampling, with a sample size of 80 farmers. The data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The result of research shows that the factors that influence attitude are non-formal education category is very high at 76.25%, the influence of other people who are considered high category importance is 57,50%, high category mass media equal to 52,50%, very category experience high of 78.75%, and the economic environment with katogori of 87.50%. There is a significant influence between non- formal education, the influence of others who are considered important, experience, mass media at the level of 95% confidence and there is no significant influence between the economic environment on farmers attitude on UPSUS PAJALE program.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the interest of graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta to work in the agricultural sector, (2) to examine the factors that influence the interest of graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture UNS to work in the agricultural sector, (3) to examine how the influence of factors that influence the interest of graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture UNS to work in the agricultural sector. This research was carried out at the Faculty of Agriculture, UNS Surakarta. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with survey techniques. The population in this study were alumni of the faculty of agriculture who graduated in 2019. The data processing was carried out by researchers using the classical assumption test, which consisted of normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. After completing the classical assumption test, the data analysis was continued with regression testing, F-test and T-test. The results showed that: (1) the interest of UNS agricultural graduates to work in agriculture was mostly in the high and sufficient category. (2) The perception factor of work in agriculture, experience, lifestyle, family environment and the closest social environment simultaneously have a significant influence on the interest of graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture UNS to work in the agricultural sector. (3) The perception factor of work in agriculture, lifestyle, family environment and the closest social environment partially has a significant influence on the interest of graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture UNS to work in the agricultural sector, while the experience factor partially does not have a significant influence.

Abstract

Climate change is a natural phenomenon that has occurred at all levels of the continent or country, as well as specific location at sub-district level in relatively small area. Various weather and climate information services such as data afforded by government institutes, research institutes, and universities are far from the reach of farmers.  This  research  aims  to:  study  the  influence  of  socio-economic  factors, attitudes, access to communication media, needs and characteristics / nature of simultaneous or partial innovation toward farmers’ decision in Integrated Katam innovation.   The location of the study was deliberately determined in Tegalrejo and Watugajah because the village received the Integrated Katam program in Gedang Sari Sub-district,   Gunung   Kidul.   The   sampling   method   was   done   randomly   using proportional random sampling with 50 people. Multiple linear regression is used as the data analysis. The results showed that: (1) characteristics of respondent farmers in socioeconomic factors were classified as moderate, attitudes wre classified as neutral, access of communication media were infrequently utilized, social needs level and characteristic  /  nature  of  innovation  were  quite  appropriate;  (2)  socio-economic factors, attitudes, needs, access to communication media and characteristics / nature of innovation simultaneously have significant effects on the adopted decision of Integrated Katam innovation; (3) socioe-conomic factors, attitudes, needs and characteristics / nature of innovation have significant effects on decision to adopt innovation Integrated Katam partially while communication media access was not significant; (4) Decision making adoption of Integrated Katam innovation in Gedang Sari was moderate

Abstract

For meeting the farmer's capital needs, the government expands credit network through Village Unit BRJ· and Village Unit Cooperative (KUD). The objectives of this research are to find out the farmer's decision making in taking up credit in Village Unit BR!, to find out some factors affecting the farmer's · decision making in taking up credit in Village Unit BR!, to find out how far the significant relation between factors affecting the farmer's decision making and farmer's decision in taking up credit in Village Unit BR! in Sub district Polokarto.The result of research shows that factors affecting the farmer's decision making deriving from the farmers in age factor is included in median score of 3, namely more than 40 years to 50 years, formal education factor included in median score of 2, namely elementary school graduated, economical capability included in median score of 4, namely saving occasionally, crop factors included in median score of 3, namely between 100% up to 125%. For the factors deriving from the bank side, the credit procedure factor is included in median score of 5 namely very easy, official service factor included in median score of 4, namely 5 to J 0 minutes, the credit size factor included in median score of 2, namely between 1 to 15 millions, interest rate factor is in median score of 1, namely more than 2, 5%, loan duration factor is in median score of 4, namely on time, realization factor is in median score of 4, namely between 1 to 2 weeks, return factor is in median score of 3, namely more than J planting season to 2 planting seasons, sanction factor is in median score of 2, namely more than 2% to 2, 5%, product price factors is in median score of 3, namely stable, customer's experience factor of other farmer is in median score of 4, namely rather favorable. While the farmer's decision in taking up credit in Village Unit BR/ is included high.

Abstract

Warehouse receipt system has a very useful role for the life of farmers, particularly in assisting farmers in marketing their results, provision of warehousing facilities and credit. This research was conducted in Sub District Jaten by using descriptive analytical method. The research location was determined purposively in Sub District Jaten, because the warehouse and management of warehouse receipt system in Sub District Jaten. Respondents as much as 60 respondents using teknik proportional random sampling. While the analytical methods used to analyze using Spearman Rank Correlation Test Keofisien (rs). Results of Spearman Rank analysis and test of significance at 95% confidence level is obtained the result that the relationship between the characteristics of farmers with farmer perceptions is that there is no significant, relationship between the area of land tenure to farmers with perceptions there is a significant, correlation between perceptions and of formal education with farmer perceptions there was a significant, relationship between non-formal education, experience, social environment, economic environment, and information with farmers' perception of warehouse receipt system in commodities of rice in Sub District Jaten Regency Karanganyar there is a significant.

Abstract

The research aimed to investigate the characteristics of farmer gapoktan member which consist of influential factor-factor of program PUPM receiver, to investigate the participation of gapoktan member in PUPM program at stage of planning, implementing, utilizing the result and evaluating and investigating the influence of gapoktan member characteristics which consist of internal and external factor towards participation level of gapoktan member in PUPM. The location of the research was intentionally determined because Mancasan Village is the only village which receives PUPM in year of 2016 in Sukoharjo Regency. The method of sample taking was done randomly using proportional random sampling by the number of sample is 50 people. The data analysis used double linier regression. The result of the research showed that: (1) non formal education, income, land area and organization culture   has   significantly   influenced   towards   the   level   of   gapoktan   member participation whereas other factor such as member’s liveliness, group management, and government role doesn’t influence significantly towards the level of gapoktan member participation  in PUPM program, (2) low  category  factors which  influence gapoktan member participation such as non-formal education and income, fair category member’s liveliness, very low category of land area, well category of management group, culture organization, and government role, (3) farmer gapoktan member participation at stage of planning and utilizing the result categorized fair enough while at stage of planning categorized very low and at stage of evaluating categorized low.

Abstract

Group cohesiveness as a dynamic process that is seen from the interest and attachment of relationships between members is an important thing that must be owned by farmer groups. The cohesiveness of shallot farmer groups in Mijen Sub-district, Demak Regency is influenced by several factors, one of which is interpersonal attractiveness. Cohesive groups make it easier to transfer information. The purpose of this study was to examine the level of interpersonal attractiveness of farmer group members, to examine the level of cohesiveness of farmer groups and to analyze the effect of interpersonal attractiveness on the cohesiveness of the shallot farmer group. The research method used was a saturated sample by taking all groups of shallot farmers in Mijen Sub-district, Demak Regency as samples in the study. Methods of data analysis using descriptive quantitative and simple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the level of interpersonal attractiveness of members of the shallot farmer group in Mijen Sub-district, Demak Regency is classified as very high or reaches 46.88%. The level of group cohesiveness is high, reaching 47.70%. Interpersonal attractiveness has a significant effect of 28% on the cohesiveness of farmer groups and the other 72% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Suggestions from the research that has been carried out are to maintain the social activities that have been carried out from the simplest things.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the factors that influence farmers' interpersonal communication in organic rice cultivation; assess the level of effectiveness of farmer interpersonal communication in organic rice cultivation; and analyze the influence of openness, empathy, attitudes and equality partially and simultaneously on the level of effectiveness of interpersonal communication of farmers in organic rice cultivation. The research location in Gentungan village, Mojogedang Subdistrict, Karanganyar Regency, with the consideration that Mojogedang Subdistrict has the highest organic rice production in Karanganyar Regency and Gentungan Village is the only village that has an organic rice certificate. This research was conducted using quantitative deskriptive method with census technique for all organic rice farmers who were certified with a total of 45 people. The data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that; openness is included in the category of being quite open, empathy is included in the medium category, attitudes are included in the good category, and equality in the medium category; the level of effectiveness of interpersonal communication of farmers in organic rice cultivation is included in the high category; factors that influence interpersonal communication (openness, empathy, attitude and equality) simultaneously have a significant effect on the level of effectiveness of interpersonal communication while partially openness (X1), attitude (X3) and equality (X4) significantly influence the level of effectiveness interpersonal communication while empathy (X2) does not significantly influence the 95% confidence level.

Abstract

This study examines internal and external factors of youth farmers community perception, examines the perception of youth community towards conservation of water resources, and to analyse the influence between the internal and external factors of the youth farmers community and the perception of the youth farmers  community  towards  the  conservation  of  water  resources.  The  research location was chosen purposely in Pasir Buncir Village, Caringin Sub-district, Bogor Regency which is a village located in the Upper Cisadane River Basin of   Penggerak Cisadane Hulu dan Lingkungan Hidup (PACING community center). Census sampling is34 members of PACING community. This research use multiple linear regression as an anlysis tools. The results showed that: (1) factors affecting perceptions such as non formal  education  are  high,  revenue  is  very  low,  experience  is  high,  government agencies that play a role in socialization and assistance are Badan Pengelola DAS (BPDAS) and Dinas Kehutanan, four government agencies play a role in supervision , opinion leader is considered influential but passive, the existence of privatization is quite bad, and organizational culture is very good in mission implementation, consistency and member involvement, while adaptability is just good (2) perception of member of PACING community toward conservation effort is good, (3) factors that can influence  perception  of  youth  community  significantly  only  non  formal  education factor, experience and organization culture, while other factors such as revenue, government role, opinion leader, impact of privatization, has no significant effect.
