Abstract

Various types of scholarships are given to students who have achievements both academic and non-academic achievements. Conditions that often occur in the process of awarding scholarships, the assessment is not always decided based on definite considerations and predetermined criteria. Therefore, a decision support system is needed that can assist the scholarship selection team in making effective and efficient decisions. The decision support system to be built applies the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with criteria such as IPS, GPA, Parents' Income, Number of Dependents of parents and Achievement. With the new system, it is expected to help the selection team related to managing applicant data, selection and proposal of scholarship recipients can be done more easily and quickly. After calculation, the highest score of 90.5 was obtained on behalf of Candra K which deserves to be a priority and recommended in receiving scholarships.

Abstract

Alumni are assets for an educational institution, can illustrate how the vision and mission of the alumni home institution are achieved. Educational institutions need to track their graduates, this is done as a source of information and to find out the absorption, process, and position of graduates in the world of work and assist government programs in mapping the needs of the world of work with competencies obtained from universities. In addition, to increase the accreditation of a university, college or department. So important is alumni data in the world of work, there is a need for a system to predict the waiting points for alumni to work. The purpose of this study is  to apply the Case Based Reasoning in predicting the waiting period of prospective alumni at Baturaja University using the K-Neareast Neigbor algorithm. Reasoning is based on 14 attributes with 10 rule bases. Based on the representation of the new case, the similarity value of the old case with the new case is 0.64

Abstract

In this study, the authors used the Weighted Product (WP) method to select the best supervisor at PT PLN (Persero). The Weighted Product (WP) method is the most appropriate method to be used in the selection stage for candidates with the potential to be the best supervisors. In applying the WP (Weighted Product) method, managers can rank by looking for the weight value of each attribute. The results of the study stated that alternative A2 had the best value with a value of 0.11877

Abstract

Dalam proses penerimaan siswa kursus bahasa inggris menggunakan tes penempatan level belajar. Pada tahap penerapan tes menemui masalah seperti lambatnya penentuan tingkat belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil tes yang berbasis kertas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan rekomendasi untuk tingkat pembelajaran siswa menggunakan metode Fuzzy. Dimana level belajar bahasa inggris ini terbagi dalam kategori Foundation, Basic, Elementary, Intermediate dan Advance. Untuk inputan nilainya adalah Listening, Vocabulary, Structure dan Reading. Hasil penelitian diuji akurasi dataset dengan metode confusion matrix dengan hasil akurasi sebesar 88%

Abstract

Learning media is used to channel messages from the sender to the recipient, stimulating the thoughts, feelings, attention, and interests of students as well as their will. In this way, the learning process takes place effectively and the learning objectives are achieved. Diversified learning media has increased the diversity of students’ abilities and will provide more messages or learning resources to students, which in turn will affect their learning performance. Interactive media is one way that can help students learn better. This allows students to better understand how educators teach them. The use of interactive media is very beneficial for both parties, teachers and students. One of the courses is micro learning, which trains prospective teachers. Lectora Inspire is a media application that can be used for research and development. (R&D). The ADDIE method is used together with data collection strategies. Learn to be more effective and efficient with product validity test results in good categories.

Abstract

One effective way to encourage employee motivation is to provide recognition in the form of rewards that are in accordance with their performance. The assessment process to determine the best employees needs consideration and is certainly not easy because it must be in accordance with the criteria set by the company. Seeing these conditions, the need for the application of computerized systems that can be a solution to overcome complexity in decision making. One method in decision support systems is the fuzzy method. The method used in this study is Tsukamoto's fuzzy method. The employee appraisal process is carried out based on several criteria such as performance, discipline, and ability. From the calculation results, a Z value of 57.5 was obtained. The value is included in the category considered for reward. Based on the results of the assessment, it can be concluded that Tsukamoto's fuzzy method can be applied in employee performance appraisal.

Abstract

One form of interactive teaching material is an interactive module. Interactive modules are a type of planned learning activity unit, designed to help individual students achieve their learning goals. This research aims to develop an interactive module for the Class VIII Integrated Science subject. The research method used is development research with stages of design, production, evaluation, and analyzing data with percentages. The results of this research indicate that learning media in the form of interactive modules developed for the Class VIII Integrated Science subject are suitable for use in learning by teachers and students. Based on several stages of testing, the interactive module is categorized as valid with a feasibility level of 82% with good criteria. It is hoped that this research can become a learning medium for Class VIII Integrated Science subjects and can be useful for teachers, students and advanced researchers.

Abstract

Penetapan atau pemilihan dosen pemblimbling skripsi di Program Studi Informatika Universitas BLaturaja bliasanya dilakukan atas usulan dari mahasiswa. Pemilihan terseblut umumnya dilakukan secara manual dan blelum dilakukan dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi. Selain itu, penetapan dosen pemblimbling skripsi terkadang mengesampingkan jumlah blimblingan yang mengakiblatkan kurang seimblangnya jumlah blimblingan dari setiap dosen dan terkadang tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi dosen. Melihat kondisi terseblut, maka diperlukan sebluah yang dapat mendukung dalam pengamblilan keputusan untuk pemilihan dosen pemblimbling skripsi. Penelitian ini blertujuan menerapkan komblinasi metode SAW dengan TOPSIS dalam pemilihan Dosen Pemblimbling Skripsi. Metode SAW digunakan terleblih dahulu untuk menghitung nilai pembloblotan pada setiap kriteria di tiap altenatif dan metode TOPSIS seblagai tahapan proses akhir untuk melakukan proses perangkingan terhadap alternatif. Dari hasil perhitungan dengan menerapkan komblinasi metode SAW dan TOPSIS  didapatkan 3 nilai tertinggi seblesar 0,7338, 0.5805, dan 0.5302 pada Alternatif 5, 6, dan 3. BLerdasarkan hasil perhitungan dapat disimpulkan blahwa penerapan komblinasi metode SAW dan TOPSIS dapat diimplementasikan ke dalam sistem pemilihan dosen pemblimbling skripsi.

Abstract

There are many problems encountered in the field of agriculture, for example problems about diseases and pests in melon plants. Experts or experts in the field of agriculture rarely need to build a system that is able to adopt human processes and ways of thinking in the form of an expert system. The purpose of this study is to build an expert system to diagnose diseases and pests in melon plants using the forward chaining method. A reasoning that starts from facts first to test the correctness of a hypothesis. The system was tested using the black box testing method which was tested on experts and melon farmers. Based on the results of testing using the black box testing method tested on experts and farmers, the results of the assessment were obtained that the expert system for diagnosing diseases in melon plants was proven to run well as expected with 100% validation. The end result of this expert system is to make it easier for users to carry out the consultation process by providing a list of indication of diseases and pests experienced. Then the control of the type of disease and pest will be displayed according to the selected indication. In addition, this expert system also makes it easier for admins to update data such as disease data, indication and control. This expert system application program is also not only beneficial for experts but can also be useful for farmers that ordinary people who do not understand a little about melon plant diseases and pests.

Abstract

The many types of specifications, colors and brands of laptops are complicated and confusing for ordinary people who are going to buy laptops. The reason is, there are many variants of laptops on the market with different specifications. To help potential consumers in choosing a laptop that suits their needs, a decision support system (SPK) is needed that can provide the most appropriate laptop recommendations. This study discusses the decision support system for laptop selection recommendations using the Weighted Product (WP) method. This method is used to help consumers choose a laptop that suits their needs based on predetermined criteria, such as processor, RAM, Storage, and Price. After a search of the vector to get the ranking, the largest vector value of 0.124 was obtained on Sony, Appel, and Dell Alternatives to be recommended in the selection of laptops. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the decision support system (SPK) with the Weighted Product (WP) method can provide laptop recommendations that suit the needs of users. This research provides benefits for users in choosing the right laptop that suits their needs. In addition, this research can also be the basis for the development of a decision support system for the selection of laptops or computers in other fields.
