Abstract

This study examines the economic empowerment of families through the cultivation of oysters in Tibang Village. The potential of the people who work as fishermen have not fulfilled their basic family needs. Non-permanent fishing and the price that has fluctuated, has encouraged people to look for alternative businesses to increase income, including through the cultivation of oysters. This study aims to determine how the family oyster cultivation mechanism, as well as the economic condition of the family before and after conducting oyster cultivation in Tibang Village, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that there are 40 families involved in the cultivation of oysters, this process makes it easy and practical to make the community always meet market demand because the supply of goods or oysters is sufficient. The process of cultivating oysters in Tibang Village through five stages, namely: land preparation, breeding, maintenance, harvesting and the final stage, namely cultivation. Oyster cultivation has also succeeded in increasing the economy of the community between housework. The average income of each family is Rp. 50,000 to Rp. 100,000 per day and this is done consistently because it does not depend on the season. Keywords: Family Eeconomic Empowerment, Oyster Cultivation

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pola dakwah pedesaan di Aceh Barat, dan faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari segi sasaran dakwah, pola dakwah yang menguat adalah dakwah jam’iyah, mayoritasnya untuk orang tua dan anak-anak. Dari segi pendekatan, pola dakwah yang menguat Struktural-sentrifugal”, “struktural media campaign”, dan “kultural-sentripetal bercorak sufistik”. Diantara faktor yang mendorong menguatnya dakwah struktural di Aceh Barat, yaitu komitmen politik terhadap Syariat Islam, cara pandang pimpinan pemerintahan terhadap kegiatan keagamaan yang dianggap sebagai do’a penyelamat, dan kesesuaian agenda dakwah struktural dengan tradisi majelis ta’lim yang telah mengakar. Faktor yang mempengaruhi menguatnya dakwah kultural-sentripetal bercorak sufistik diantaranya: keterikatan masyarakat pada sosok teungku yang menginisiasi kegiatan Tawajjuh dan Suluk., anggapan masyarakat terkait keberadaan Suluk sebagai level pendalaman keagamaan yang lebih tinggi, kecendrungan masyarakat tehadap suasana kenikmatan bathin ketika Tawajjuh dan Suluk, serta lokasi penyelenggaraannya yang mudah diakses. Kata Kunci: Pola, Dakwah, Masyarakat

Abstract

This research delves into the complexity of virtual violence in the realm of New Media ethics, focusing on the blurred boundary between legitimate expression and harmful threats. Within the context of the rapid growth of digital platforms, issues pertaining to ethics in online discourse and behavior are gaining increasing attention. The objective of this study is to explore the dynamics of the transition between creative expression and aggressive online behavior, as well as to identify its implications for individuals and society. The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach through a literature review. The literature review is conducted to delve into the concept of virtual violence, New Media ethics, and debates surrounding the demarcation between expression and threats. The findings of the research reveal the complexity in distinguishing between expression and threats within the context of virtual violence. Factors such as intent, context, and the impact of digital content play a significant role in determining ethical boundaries. While certain content evidently constitutes genuine threats, many cases require careful analysis to differentiate legitimate expression from unethical aggressive behavior. This research provides a deeper understanding of the dynamics of virtual violence within the realm of New Media ethics. Emerging implications and recommendations include the role of online platforms in developing clearer guidelines and the necessity for enhanced digital literacy to aid individuals in comprehending the social and moral impacts of their online behavior. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse concerning ethics in the digital world.

Abstract

Penyebaran dakwah Islam ke Nusantara, khususnya ke Aceh tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan peran ulama/da'i dari Timur Tengah, termasuk dari ulama asal Persia. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk membahas secara komprehensif terhadap khazanah dakwah kultural ulama Persia di Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan sosio-historis dan heuristik. Sumber data primer dan sekunder diperoleh dari sejumlah artikel (jurnal ilmiah), buku sejarah, naskah-naskah, manuskrip, karya sastra dan sejumlah dokumen penelitian lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada relevansinya antara Teori Persia dengan bukti otentik, di samping realita pada budaya yang berkembang di masyarakat Aceh. Berbagai fakta dan bukti sejarah, bahwa ulama Persia telah berhasil melakukan Islamisasi melalui dakwah kultural di Aceh. Dari sejumlah warisan dakwah kultural tersebut menjadi khazanah untuk masyarakat, di antaranya: moderasi beragama, dakwah tasawuf, seni dan budaya, sistem dakwah politik, karya sastra, dan kitab jawi. Adapun metode dakwah kultural yang dikembangkan oleh ulama Persia di Aceh, dengan menggunakan metode dakwah lisan, metode dakwah bil tadwin , metode dakwah bil hal dan metode dakwah bil hikmah. Keberhasilan dakwah kultural ulama Persia, karena adanya dukungan sosial dari masyarakat dan mendapat dukungan politik dari Sultan-Sultan Kerajaan Islam Aceh Darussalam.

Abstract

This article examines the constitutional legitimacy and practical implications of Wasatiyyah da’wah—an Islamic propagation model rooted in the principle of moderation—in Malaysia’s plural legal and religious context. While the Federal Constitution recognizes Islam as the religion of the Federation (Article 3(1)), it also guarantees religious freedom (Article 11), creating a legal space that necessitates careful interpretation and application. This study uses a normative legal methodology to analyze constitutional texts, statutory instruments, and judicial decisions through systematic, teleological, and contextual interpretations. The findings indicate that Wasatiyyah da’wah may function as a constitutionally compatible approach to Islamic propagation, provided it avoids coercion and adheres to legal safeguards. However, tensions arise in its implementation, especially when state-sponsored religious programs intersect with public welfare, education, and minority rights. The institutionalization of Wasatiyyah must be accompanied by transparent regulation, independent oversight, and alignment with human rights principles. By treating Wasatiyyah not merely as a theological ideal but as a constitutional strategy, the study contributes to constitutional Islamic studies and offers insights into reconciling Islamic identity with democratic pluralism. The research also opens avenues for comparative studies in other Muslim-majority societies facing similar legal and social challenges.

Abstract

The service targets female home industry (HI) actors from Gampong Cot Lamme Aceh Besar who are still having social and psychological impacts due to the conflict. They tend to be pessimistic and apathetic in managing their business, even though their business contributes to the family economy. An Action Research approach was used to ensure community involvement throughout the program. The research problem formulation is how to model empowering women's home industries based on action research, strengthen home industries, and encourage community involvement, especially HI actors. The service results show that the community empowerment model is implemented through six focuses: strengthening business mentality and spirit, improving product quality, improving business management skills, expanding marketing access, and building networks. Mental strengthening of business is carried out through a religious approach based on recitation. The result was that 14 businesses had official business licensing documents, packaged products, and had diversification of salted duck egg products. Marketing is carried out with the label "Aseli Cot Lamme Poe." Meanwhile, multi-stakeholder involvement was carried out by bridging partnerships with the Islamic Community Development Study Program (PMI) FDK UIN Ar-Raniry, PLUT Aceh Besar and TP-PKK KutaBaro District.

Abstract

Abstract: The existence of Lake Laot Tadu Gampong Krueng Itam is a potential tourist location because of its beautiful landscape. It is also realized by the community so that various efforts are made to develop it. However, the development of community-based tourism is not an easy work. Some obstacles have reduced the spirit of the community, and have implications for the weakening of Laot Tadu’s tourism development efforts. This is the background of this research with the aim to study community efforts, as well as analyze opportunities and challenges for further development. The research approach is qualitative. Data collection techniques are interviews and observations. The results showed that the community started their efforts with a planning meeting on the development of lake tourism, then collaborated to clean the lake, and prepare road access to the lake, then prepare a business place. The opportunity is the view of Lake Laot Tadu from the side of Gampong Krueng Itam which is still very natural and beautiful compared to other gampong sides. However, other gampong is a challenge because of the diverse tourism diversification strategies. Part of the threat of this village tourism development strategy is the existence of a market in krueng itam gampong hall, which is actually a competitor to the tourist market in the lake.Keywords: Lake Laot Tadu; Tourism; Community.Abstrak: Keberadaan Danau Laot Tadu Gampong Krueng Itam merupakan lokasi wisata yang potensial karena keindahan alamnya. Hal ini juga disadari masyarakat sehingga berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk mengembangkannya. Namun, upaya pengembangan wisata gampong berbasis masyarakat ini bukanlah hal yang mudah. Beberapa  kendala membuat semangat masyarakat menjadi redup, dan berdampak pada melemahnya upaya pengembangan wisata Laot Tadu ini. Hal inilah yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji upaya-upaya yang telah dilakukan masyarakat, serta menganalisis peluang dan tantangan untuk pengembangan selanjutnya. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mengawali upayanya dengan musyawarah perencanaan pengembangan wisata danau, lalu melakukan gotong royong pembersihan danau, dan membuka akses jalan, selanjutnya pengembangan tempat usaha usaha. Peluang yang dimiliki adalah pemandangan Danau Laot Tadu dari sisi Gampong Krueng Itam masih sangat alami dan terjaga dibandingkan dari sisi gampong lainnya. Akan tetapi gampong yang lainnya tetap menjadi tantangan karena strategi diversifikasi wisata yang beragam. Bagian dari kelemahan strategi pengembangan wisata desa ini adalah keberadaan pasar di balai gampong Krueng Itam, yang justru menjadi pesaing bagi pasar wisata di danau.Kata Kunci: Danau Laot Tadu; Wisata; Masyarakat.
