Abstract

Wisata Edukasi Gerabah (WEG) adalah salah satu daerah wisata yang berlokasi di Desa Rendeng, Kecamatan Malo, Kabupaten Bojonegoro Jawa Timur. Wisata Edukasi Gerabah (WEG) menyajikan tiga fasilitas bagi wisatawan, yaitu pengetahuan tentang gerabah, praktik membuat gerabah, serta melukis gerabah. Desa wisata ini juga menjual berbagai macam bentuk gerabah yang siap pakai. Namun desa wisata ini masih belum banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Salah satu penyebabnya desa ini belum memiliki identitas visual yang konsisten, dan logo yang berkarakter. Makalah ini adalah tentang bagaimana mendesain logo yang menarik, mudah diingat dan memiliki karakter yang khas Wisata Edukasi Gerabah (WEG). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode riset kualitatif dan metode riset kuantitatif dengan teknik data primer melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner sedangkan data sekunder melalui sumber seperti jurnal, artikel ilmiah, buku dan website. Melalui tahap tersebut, konsep perancangan logo nantinya sesuai dengan karakteristik atau ciri khas dari Wisata Edukasi Gerabah (WEG) dan karakteristik target audiens usia 7-12 tahun.

Abstract

Most sources of disease come from dirty items. Dirty items usually have lots of disease-causing bacteria and viruses that can lower our immune system. One of the reasons is unhygienic food. For that, we need interesting and informative educational media in the form of an educational game application "Defense Body". This game aims to educate children about the importance of maintaining health. This design uses a qualitative method with 2 stages carried out, namely the preparation stage and the creation stage. This method approach produces a design concept with the keyword "Learning with fun" as a solution for parents in educating their children about the importance of health. This game is designed as a companion media for parents so that children can understand the importance of maintaining health.

Abstract

Kartini Embroidery Surabaya is a home-based business that produces various kinds of women's bags and wallets located in Surabaya. The bag and wallet products produced by Kartini Embroidery have a distinctive feature in the form of embroidered motifs embedded in each of their products, making them a differentiator from other competitors. However, Kartini Embroidered Products still do not have a packaging design that functions as a product identity and promotional tool. The packaging used for Kartini Embroidered products is still a plain mica box which only has the function of protecting the product from damage. The purpose of this design is to create a packaging design that has function as a product identity and a medium for conveying product information as a form of promotion. This design uses qualitative research methods by relying on primary data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The data processing method is using SWOT analysis to evaluate internal and external conditions on products to determine the right strategy to increase business opportunities for Kartini Embroidery products. For further research, it is hoped that it will be able to carry themes related to strategic steps in increasing business opportunities in micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Abstract

The Independent Learning Campus Independent Policy (MBKM) in the world of education is a breakthrough by government to bring the world of work closer to the world of education. The MBKM learning model encourages student to be mopre adaptive in facing the world of work that demands competencies and abilities from various diciplines. To implement the MBKM program, Higher Education (PT) prepares implementation guidelines for student. The implementation MBKM activity guide book will be easy to understand if it uses effective and communicative language, for that aguide book is needed that is prepared in the form of flow/procedure infographic design. Infographics are text-shaped information media with a combination of image, graphics ilustrations and typography so that it s more attractive and easier to understand. Faculty Excellence Product Research entitled Infographic Booklet for MBKM Guide” aim to make easier for student to understand the content of procedures for implementating MBKM activities. The methods and steps for compiling infografics booklet consist of the pre-production stage, namely collecting and managing MBKM guide data information and documenting library sources about infographics. Next is the production stage, which is determining the type of information and visual design using infographic techniques packaged in the form of booklet. Finally the post production stage, namely the finishing of the MBKM guide booklert which is printed and distributed to the entire acedemic community in the form of hardcopy and softcopies uploaded on the UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur website.

Abstract

Globalization requires people to be more creative in seeing opportunities and making the most of them by paying attention to sustainability factors. The era of globalization which is full of demands like today, also requires people to continue to be able to meet complex needs, not only household needs but also needs related to food, clothing, transportation, and so on. One solution to this problem is to create jobs independently, not just being a job seeker. Job creation can be in various forms, one of which is through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). UMKM is expected to be able to become the pillar of the national economy with an insight into independence and has great potential to improve people's welfare. CV. Sinar Surya Mustika is a UMKM that was established in 2020 in Surabaya and is engaged in the convection and computer embroidery industry. Through observations and interviews with Mr. Moch. Taqiyuddin Abror is the owner of UMKM computer convection and embroidery industry by CV. Sinar Surya Mustika, his convection and embroidery industry always prioritizes the best services and solutions for consumer needs, provides quality and innovative results, and implements strict quality control at every stage. However, in the marketing aspect, CV. Sinar Mustika has limitations, especially in digital marketing. This is due to the lack of human resources who master digital marketing. The company profile book design training is expected to increase digitally literate human resources so that the market reach becomes wider, easier, and more effective. The design of the company profile book can be a marketing tool for a CV. Sinar Surya Mustika is facing a high level of competition in the era of globalization. This training is based on community service activities by providing training on company profile book design for UMKM Convection and Computer Embroidery Industry by CV. Sinar Surya Mustika, Surabaya. This community service activity is based on an audience study. The methods used during the activities include presentation, demonstration and practice methods. The results achieved in this outreach activity were providing information and knowledge about the company profile design, discussions with UMKM Convection and Computer Embroidery Industry by CV. Sinar Surya Mustika and design a company profile book.

Abstract

Character design is closely related to animation. Currently animation is not only popular among children, but also popular among teenagers to adults. Besides having a function as entertainment, animation can also be a medium for education and promotion. This research is a design-based research with the object of research, namely a local Indonesian dairy product called Milkaya. Milkaya is a trademark of CV. Milknesia Nusantara. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are the design of the character design of the Bisma figure who is the main character who will promote Milkaya implant products and educate children about the importance of drinking milk for health.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia produce many types of products, especially snacks in the form of chips. One of the problems often faced by MSMEs is the use of simple packaging, so that the product looks less attractive and has difficulty competing with manufactured products. This study aims to increase the brand value of MSME Pawon Ara through redesigning the packaging of several snack products. This packaging redesign is expected to meet market standards, attract consumers' attention, and increase purchasing interest. The methods used in this study are qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data collection was carried out through field observations, in-depth interviews with the owner of Pawon Ara, and interviews with branding experts. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to the people of Sidoarjo and its surroundings via social media Instagram and WhatsApp. The results of the study showed that attractive packaging design can increase consumer purchasing interest, so that products are more competitive in the modern market and have the potential to increase sales

Abstract

Kopi Mbah Jebres merupakan salah satu kafe bernuansa tradisional Jawa Tengah yang terletak di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Berada di tengah pedesaan yang asri, kafe ini menawarkan pengalaman bersantai sambil menikmati pemandangan sawah dan pegunungan. Kopi Mbah Jebres memiliki berbagai fasilitas unggulan, seperti kolam pemancingan ikan, spot foto, taman bermain, dan area khusus untuk menikmati kopi. Namun, sebagian besar fasilitas tersebut belum dilengkapi dengan signage sebagai identitas visual yang memadai. Selain itu, letaknya yang cukup tersembunyi juga membutuhkan papan penunjuk arah di luar kawasan untuk membantu pengunjung menemukan lokasi kafe. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang identitas visual grafis lingkungan berupa signage yang sesuai dengan karakter tradisional Kopi Mbah Jebres. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai kondisi fisik lokasi, kebutuhan pengunjung, serta karakteristik fasilitas kafe. Selain itu, analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportu nities, Threats) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi desain signage. Consumer insight juga menjadi elemen penting untuk memahami preferensi dan kebutuhan pengunjung dalam interaksi mereka dengan elemen visual kafe. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi desain signage yang tidak hanya estetis dan fungsional tetapi juga selaras dengan nuansa tradisional khas Kopi Mbah Jebres. Desain ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan daya tarik kafe, mempermudah akses pengunjung, serta memperkuat keterikatan emosional antara kafe dan pengunjung melalui elemen visual yang autentik dan relevan.

Abstract

CV Milkinesia Nusantara is a small, medium dairy product enterprise in Ponorogo, a developing company to improve the production process. It is now focused on the production of pasteurized milk using technology that combines using pasteurization of pulsed electric field (PEF) method and is supported by semi-continuous integrated processing machines. Before starting production with the new system, CV Milkinesia Nusantara would like to establish a standardized production process plan and contamination-free. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP) and to create SSOP document for determining the sanitation hygiene program during the milk production. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this research, and the SSOP document's designed based on 8 key sanitation requirements adapted from literature and several related regulations. There are several adjustments in the initial proposal of the SSOP document for future implementation, which is analyzing the laboratory's water quality test once a year. In addition, the sanitation method of processing machines is changed to a combination of manual (COP) and simple Cleaning in Place (CIP) methods. Moreover, microbiological testing of food-contact surfaces is changed to once every 3 months. Utilization of cleaning equipment is distinguished by specifying color codes, and the cleaning agents for machine processing were performing the recommended COP cleaner. An additional form is provided for documenting employee training activities

Abstract

Moral adalah istilah yang manusia disebut ke manusia atau orang lainnya dalam perbuatan yang memiliki nilai positif. Individu yang tidak mempunyai suatu moral disebut dengan amoral sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa ia tak bermoral dan tak memiliki nilai positif di pandangan para individu lainnya, sehingga moral merupakan hal absolut yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  mengedukasi nilai – nilai moral peristiwa bersejarah “Sumpah Pemuda” untuk generasi muda yang di harapkan dapat meningkatkan semangat nasionalis para generasi muda saat ini dan dapat mengambil nilai moralnya melalui media game yang akan ditunjukan kepada remaja usia 14 – 20 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, pada metode kualitatif peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara kepada guru, orang tua, target audiens dan menelusuri literatur yang ada, sementara pada metode kuantitatif peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner kepada target audiens untuk mendapatkan data serta menguji hipotesis, yang akan berpengaruh kepada penentuan objek perancangan.
