Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi kuliner Indonesia dalam film Aruna & Lidahnya. Film ini membahas mengenai kuliner khas dari beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Representasi kuliner indonesia ditunjukkan melalui petualangan kuliner yang dilakukan Aruna dan teman-temannya untuk memuaskan keinginan demi mendapatkan citarasa, resep dan gaya makan baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis semiotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kuliner daerah ditampilkan sebagai kuliner yang mengagumkan dan tidak mudah dilupakan. Kuliner daerah dicitrakan sebagai kuliner pinggiran, kuliner kelas bawah. Representasi kuliner Indonesia dalam film Aruna & Lidahnya menunjukkan bahwa kuliner Jakarta memiliki kelas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kuliner khas beberapa daerah yang disebutkan dalam film.

Abstract

The Surabaya City Government annually has programs in developing the City of Surabaya, one of which is the "Smart City" program which is a program with the aim of developing the City of Surabaya as an advanced city in the fields of economy and technology. The Surabaya City “Smart City” program increases the motivation of the people of Surabaya City to make their area more productive and competitive. One of the efforts to increase residents' productivity and increase regional competitiveness is carried out by residents of Manyar Indah, RW 06, Menur Pumpungan urban village, Sukolilo sub-district, Surabaya City by developing ecoprint -based fashion products. Furthermore, the ecoprint fashion product chose the name "M-Six Craft" as their brand identity. “M-Six Craft” is part of the Manyar Indah Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (UMKM Marinda). Researchers saw that the terms quality of the product “M-Six Craft” is good but less so in terms of packaging potentially decrease the marketability and competitiveness of products in the industry, especially in the field of fashion. This research is based on community service activities by providing training on making packaging design for “M-Six Craft” ecoprint fashion products – UMKM Marinda, Manyar Indah, Surabaya, with considerations including: easy to teach and train, “M-Six Craft“ UMKM ecoprint fashion products have not been packaged. well and interestingly. Activities community service -based study of the mob. The methods used during the activities include presentation, demonstration and practice methods. The results achieved in this outreach activity were providing information and knowledge about product packaging, discussions with UMKM Marinda and making packaging designs for “M-Six Craft” ecoprint fashion products.

Abstract

Kompas sebagai media pemberitaan nasional telah bertransformasi selama 57 tahun dalam perjalanannya sebagai “Amanat Hati Nurani Rakyat”. Selama itu, Kompas telah berkembang dari media cetak dan merambah ke dunia digital berbasis internet mengikuti dinamika masyarakat. Sebagai bentuk eksistensi dan upaya perjalanan sejarah tersebut, Kompas berkolaborasi dengan seniman digital membuat sampul e-paper edisi 27/6/2022 dalam format NFT (Non-Fungible Token). Sampul berbasis digital ini menjadi menarik untuk dianalisis karena merupakan kolaborasi khusus menghadapi dunia digital virtual yang semakin berkembang masif. Penelitian ini berusaha memaparkan kajian visual berdasarkan keilmuan desain komunikasi visual. Pembacaan makna visual ini akan menggunakan analisis semiotika visual secara kualitatif deskriptif dengan pembacaan tanda-makna menggunakan Triadik Sumbo. Kajian tersebut dibantu menggunakan teori tanda oleh Charles S.Peirce dan kode-kode dari Roland Barthes. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini akan memberikan sebuah gambaran akan realitas visual berdasarkan perkembangan teknologi dan budaya visual. Bagaimana kode-kode yang terdapat dalam tanda visual sampul e-paper Kompas mampu mengungkapkan makna konotatif selain makna denotatif dari redaksi Kompas sendiri. Sehingga pembacaan tersebut akan memperkaya kajian desain komunikasi visual sebagai penghasil tanda visual dalam dinamika masyarakat dalam menghadapi gempuran produk digital.

Abstract

Globalization requires people to be more creative in seeing opportunities and making the most of them by paying attention to sustainability factors. The era of globalization which is full of demands like today, also requires people to continue to be able to meet complex needs, not only household needs but also needs related to food, clothing, transportation, and so on. One solution to this problem is to create jobs independently, not just being a job seeker. Job creation can be in various forms, one of which is through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). UMKM is expected to be able to become the pillar of the national economy with an insight into independence and has great potential to improve people's welfare. CV. Sinar Surya Mustika is a UMKM that was established in 2020 in Surabaya and is engaged in the convection and computer embroidery industry. Through observations and interviews with Mr. Moch. Taqiyuddin Abror is the owner of UMKM computer convection and embroidery industry by CV. Sinar Surya Mustika, his convection and embroidery industry always prioritizes the best services and solutions for consumer needs, provides quality and innovative results, and implements strict quality control at every stage. However, in the marketing aspect, CV. Sinar Mustika has limitations, especially in digital marketing. This is due to the lack of human resources who master digital marketing. The company profile book design training is expected to increase digitally literate human resources so that the market reach becomes wider, easier, and more effective. The design of the company profile book can be a marketing tool for a CV. Sinar Surya Mustika is facing a high level of competition in the era of globalization. This training is based on community service activities by providing training on company profile book design for UMKM Convection and Computer Embroidery Industry by CV. Sinar Surya Mustika, Surabaya. This community service activity is based on an audience study. The methods used during the activities include presentation, demonstration and practice methods. The results achieved in this outreach activity were providing information and knowledge about the company profile design, discussions with UMKM Convection and Computer Embroidery Industry by CV. Abstract

Character design is closely related to animation. Currently animation is not only popular among children, but also popular among teenagers to adults. Besides having a function as entertainment, animation can also be a medium for education and promotion. This research is a design-based research with the object of research, namely a local Indonesian dairy product called Milkaya. Milkaya is a trademark of CV. Milknesia Nusantara. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are the design of the character design of the Bisma figure who is the main character who will promote Milkaya implant products and educate children about the importance of drinking milk for health.

Abstract

Kota Surabaya memiliki banyak taman kota, salah satunya Taman Bungkul Surabaya. Pada Taman Bungkul telah tersedia fasilitas tempat sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya, namun belum digunakan secara maksimal oleh masyarakat karena kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat terhadap pemilahan sampah. Remaja yang merupakan bagian dari masyarakat masihlah menyempelekan dan belum mengetahui manfaat dari pemilahan sampah, yang sebenarnya memiliki banyak manfaat bagi lingkungan, kesehatan, ekonomi dan sosial. Edukasi dilakukan kepada remaja untuk mengajarkan manfaat dari pemilahan sampah. Edukasi pemilahan sampah akan menggunakan media komik digital melalui platform Line Webtoon yang populer dikalangan remaja. Perancangan ini akan menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, studi literatur, studi eksisting, dan studi komperator. Perancangan ini dimulai dengan menentukan konsep verbal, seperti judul, sipnosis, naskah cerita dan gaya bahasa. Selanjutnya menentukan konsep visual seperti gaya gambar, warna, desain karakter, latar, hingga tipografi yang akan digunakan.

Abstract

Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo is an educational tour in Kalidawir Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo provide rides for fishing ponds, playgrounds, photo spots, education, culinary tours, performing arts, and natural scenery in the form of fish ponds. As a tourist place, Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo should be able to provide security and comfort for its visitors, especially the Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo environment is surrounded by fish ponds, so visitors must be more careful in traveling activities at Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo. The location of Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo which is in remote villages can make it difficult for people to know its existence, so in this case, Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo requires environmental graphics as information media in the form of a sign system regarding the existence of Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo, location instructions for Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo, and information on warnings/bans. The design of this sign system uses research methods that are divided into three parts, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. The icon used in the sign system is taken from the shape of a fish which is the advantage of Yussar Fishing and Playground Sidoarjo which has a fishing pond facility. The sign system as the primary media has 3 types, namely 9 information sign designs, 6 directions sign designs, and 6 prohibition sign designs. Each type of sign system has a difference in the board's shape and the color of the text so that the message's recipient can easily distinguish the information conveyed. All signs are placed outside and around the Yussar Fishing and Playground area of ​​Sidoarjo according to the type and purpose of each sign.

Abstract

The use of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) has been effective to support learning. However, there are still few teachers that implement CLIL in their classroom. The curriculum and material development were made to support science teacher in implementing CLIL in which the integration of both content and language are highlighted. These were designed to enhance bilingual education program in Sekolah Alam Insan Mulia through CLIL. Specifically, these curriculum and material development were for 7th grade students. Using a curriculum and material development approach with 4Cs Framework for analysis, this study involves the design process of incorporating content with CLIL method intended to promote the learning process with high-quality material and learning methods. The process entailed analysing of the context and the curriculum materials, characterizing students’ opportunities to learn effectively, and assessing students’ learning outcomes. The finding of this study is the product of curriculum and material development using CLIL of a unit entitled interaction with ecosystem. Abstract

Indonesia kaya akan warisan budaya dan objek wisata yang saat ini semakin banyak dicari oleh wisatawan baik wisatawan dalam negeri maupun wisatawan luar negeri. Salah satu di antaranya adalah asset berharga yaitu bangunan cagar budaya yang banyak mengandung pelajaraan bersejarah pada bangunan tersebut, dan perlu untuk dijaga kelastaiannya. Surabaya memiliki banyak bangunan cagar budaya, khususnya Surabaya Utara. Akan tetapi media yang menginformasikan dan mendokumentasikan bangunan-bangunan ini sangat minim. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang berbasis perancangan yang bertujuan untuk merancang buku ilustrasi mengenai bangunan cagar budaya sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan sekaligus meningkatkan eksistensi aset budaya milik Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini berbentuk buku ilustrasi yang terdiri dari 48 halaman berisi tentang informasi-informasi bangunan cagar budaya yang ada di Surabaya Utara.

Abstract

The UMKM that we chose is the business of making Bidaran and Ciput cakes "Bidaran & Ciput Trio Jaya Cake" located in Pakunden Village, Kec. Sukorejo, Blitar City. This Bidaran & Ciput Trio Jaya cake has a prominent uniqueness, namely many flavors, but the development of this business is constrained by not having a brand that is the hallmark of the business and lack of knowledge about digital marketing. The solution is to make innovations in product Visual Identity to make it more attractive and to carry out marketing development by creating social media accounts so that these UMKM can be widely known so that they can help business development.
