Abstract

This research is motivated by a conventional science learning model that is teacher-centered, so that the level of student learning activity is still low, learning activity is influenced by teachers who can stimulate students to be more active in learning, discussing, expressing opinions, curiosity, seeking information. new (Zaeni 2017, Hidayah 2017). This study aims to determine the effect and how much influence the TGT learning model assisted by audio-visual media has on science learning activities at SDN Kepunten Tulangan for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a quantitative research method of pre-experimental design, one-shot case study which is given posttest treatment, to determine the effect and magnitude of the influence the researcher uses the t-test one sample t- test to determine the effect of the TGT learning model assisted by audio-visual media on student learning activities. which obtained a significant value (2 – tailed) of 0.023 <0.05, and a tcount of 4.333 > ttable 2.04523, so it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of the TGT learning model assisted by audio-visual media on student learning activities at SDN Kepunten Tulangan. In the F and R square tests to find out how much influence the TGT learning model has, the significant value is 0.00 < 0.05 and the R Square value is 0.929 or equal to 92%, which means that the TGT learning model assisted by audio-visual media has a major influence, namely 92% on student learning activity. So in conclusion, the TGT learning model assisted by audio-visual media on science learning activities for class V at SDN Kepunte has an effect of 92%.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Index Card Match (ICM) learning model on fifth-grade mathematics education at SDIT Ainul Yaqin. Using a pre-experimental design, 20 students were selected through purposive sampling. Test sheets were used to measure learning outcomes, and data analysis included testing for normality and calculating N-Gain scores. The results showed a significant 84.2% improvement in mathematics learning outcomes, indicating the positive impact of the ICM model on student achievement. This research contributes to understanding innovative teaching methods' efficacy in enhancing elementary mathematics education. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model on fifth graders' science concept understanding. Using a quantitative one-group pretest-posttest design, 24 students from SDN Jeruk Purut 1 Gempol were tested with essay questions. The paired sample t-test showed a significant improvement (Sig. 0.00 < 0.05) in science understanding after applying the CLIS model. The N-Gain test indicated a medium-level improvement with a mean score of 0.6513. These results demonstrate that the CLIS model effectively enhances students' science comprehension, suggesting its broader potential for science education.Highlight: Significant impact of CLIS on science concept understanding. Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of outdoor learning-based inquiry learning models on students' conceptual understanding in class IV of SDN SUKO 1. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample used in class IV research was 30 students. Data collection techniques used are pretest and posttest. The data obtained had an average pretest score of 63 and a posttest score had an average of 75. The results of the nonparametric Wilcoxon test statistical data obtained the number 0.00 <0.05, it was found that there was a difference before being given treatment and after being given treatment. It can be concluded that there is an influence of outdoor learning-based inquiry learning on the understanding of the concepts of fourth grade students at SDN SUKO 1 in learning natural science about plants and their functions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah Hubungan Pemahaman Konsep dengan Kemampuan Matematika Siswa Kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif dan menggunakan Teknik korelasi bivariate pearson. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas IV di SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2020. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan hasil yaitu terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman konsep dengan kemampuan matematika siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya. Hasil tersebut bisa dibuktikan dengan perolehan perhitungan data nilai signifikasi 0,501 atau (0,501 >0,05), serta diperoleh hasil rhitung0,11 yang diketahui lebih besar dari rtabel 0,369 dengan taraf signifikasi 5% atau 0,05.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of the religious character of Islamic-based full day school elementary school students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan. This research uses a field research method with a qualitative approach. The research carried out three stages when collecting data, namely observation from the results of observations carried out, collecting school data obtained from interviews with one of the teachers and also interviews conducted with the principal at the elementary school. . The research was conducted on 29 April 2024 - 03 May 2024. SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan has a superior program that supports students' religious character in accordance with the school's vision and mission. Implementation of the school's vision and mission with various activities. The school gives appreciation to students who have become tahfidz of the Qur'an juz 30. The cultivation of religious character in students has been implemented since grade 1 and will continue to be developed until grade 6. Various activities are carried out by the school to instill religious character in students. In cultivating a religious character, of course there are supporting and inhibiting factors and factors that influence internally and externally.

Abstract

Collaborative interaction is a collaboration between experienced and aspiring educators to achieve a common educational goal, involving observation and reflection to understand and improve teaching strategies. Research at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan shows that this collaboration is effective in helping educators and prospective educators develop more effective teaching skills and methods, ultimately improving the quality of education. This research used qualitative methods with interviews, observation and documentation approaches. The aim was to improve collaboration through knowledge sharing and the development of innovative teaching strategies. Socialization of activities included initial meetings, information distribution, discussions and debriefings. Coordination with schools involved scheduling, use of facilities and division of tasks. Learner introductions are conducted so that prospective educators can interact with students. The implementation of collaboration uses active learning methods, with evaluation through data collection, analysis, report preparation, and presentation of results to improve the quality of education. The collaboration involves sharing tasks and responsibilities, as well as guidance from experienced educators, allowing prospective educators to learn classroom management, teaching strategies and how to handle classroom situations. This enhances the professional competence of future educators and enriches the teaching methods of experienced educators through the exchange of ideas. The use of technology and active learning methods also improves learner participation and learning outcomes. The results of this study provide practical guidance for better teacher training programs and more effective education policies, creating a dynamic learning environment, helping all parties develop and improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan lingkungan sekitar terhadap pemahaman konsep pada mata Pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental design dengan penggunaan desain nonequivalent control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IV-A berjumlah 26 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV-B berjumlah 27 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian yaitu pretest dan posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah soal uraian yang berjumlah 10 butir yang telah divalidasi oleh dua ahli dibidangnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji statistik non-parametik dengan uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji n-gain pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh n-gain sebesar 0,617 dengan kategori sedang, dan pada kelas kontrol di peroleh n-gain sebesar 0,352 dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan lingkungan sekitar memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN Cemengkalang tahun ajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menangani masalah berkelanjutan mengenai kesalahpahaman dalam pendidikan sains, dengan fokus pada siswa kelas IV di Grabagan. Kesalahpahaman dalam sains—pemahaman yang salah yang berlanjut jika tidak ditangani—dapat menghambat hasil belajar secara signifikan. Kesalahpahaman sering kali berasal dari ketidakakuratan dalam menjelaskan, mengaitkan, atau mengklasifikasikan konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kesalahpahaman tersebut untuk mencegah dampak jangka panjangnya terhadap pengetahuan ilmiah siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini memeriksa tanggapan dari 24 siswa melalui tes tertulis. Temuan menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman dan kesalahpahaman yang bervariasi: 45,8% siswa menunjukkan pemahaman konsep pada pertanyaan 1, sedangkan 54,1% salah memahami konsep pada pertanyaan 9, dan 41,7% memiliki kesalahpahaman pada pertanyaan 2. Selain itu, tes Indeks Pengakuan Konsep (CRI) menunjukkan bahwa hanya 34,6% siswa kelas lima yang benar-benar memahami konsep yang disajikan, menyoroti kebutuhan kritis akan intervensi dalam strategi pengajaran untuk memperbaiki kesalahpahaman ini dan meningkatkan hasil pendidikan dalam pembelajaran sains.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of RADEC learning model on science literacy skills of elementary school students. The research used is quantitative research with pre-experimental method in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design, which uses one experimental class at SDN Banjarsari. The population in this study were all third grade students of SDN Banjarsari, totaling 21 students. Sanpel was selected using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was through the test method, namely pretest and posttest. The instrument used in this study is a test with valid and reliable literacy questions to measure the level of science literacy skills of students who have been validated by two experts in their fields. The data analysis technique in this study used the N - Gain test and paired sample t - test. Based on the results of the t-test that the sig. 2 tailed of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is an effect of RADEC learning model on the science literacy skills of grade III elementary school and obtained the average N-Gain score of 0.48 with a moderate category that there is an effect of RADEC learning model on the science literacy skills of grade III elementary school students of SDN Banjarsari in the moderate category.   Keywords: elementary school, RADEC learning model, science literacy
