Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) merupakan kondisi kesulitan dalam interaksi sosial dan komunikasi pada perkembangan anak yang berlangsung seumur hidup. Pola pengasuhan terhadap anak ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri terhadap orang tua khususnya seorang ayah. Tujuan review ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman ayah dalam merawat anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka. Peneliti menemukan jurnal internasional pada beberapa database yang meliputi Science Direct, Sage Pub, Springer, Elsevier, Tandfonline dan JStor dari tahun 2011-2020. Kegiatan ini meliputi review terhadap jurnal yang membahas mengenai pengalaman ayah dalam merawat anak dengan autism spectrum disorder. Setelah melakukan serangkaian screening ditemukan enam jurnal yang sesuai dengan topic tersebut. Hasil  penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengalaman merawat anak dengan autism spectrum disorder dapat memperkaya pengalaman, membutuhkan penerimaan dan dukungan lingkungan sekitar untuk mengurangi stressor yang didapatkan. Diperlukan adanya kegiatan untuk memperkaya pemahaman dalam pola pengasuhan anak kepada ayah agar kualitas hidup anak penderita Autism Spektrum Disorder semakin baik.

Abstract

Today's problem in STEM learning is that STEM-based learning has not been carried out optimally. Most of the teachers experienced many problems related to IT-based media. In addition, the form of HOTS-based learning evaluation has not been fully mastered by the teacher. This training aims to improve the skills of teachers in STEM learning at the primary school level. Implementing the activities carried out are workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The target participants consisted of 16 teachers from the Malang City cluster one primary school. The results of this training show an increase in the skills of teachers with STEM learning. The indicators that as many as 16 teachers have made STEM-based learning media according to the material in elementary schools. However, all the results of the teacher's products require minor improvements. The trainees' response also showed a positive response in STEM learning training in elementary schools to develop skills in the 21st century.

Abstract

As the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka program was rolled out by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, Technology, and Higher Education, schools had to master many new things. The new things include a paradigm shift in learning, liberating education, projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, differentiated learning, and learning assessments. Since the program was initiated, the Ministry has made various breakthroughs including conducting socialization, training, training, technical guidance, and mentoring. However, at the implementation level, not all programs went according to plan, because various problems were found in them. These problems include technical related issues, such as making the Education Unit Operational Curriculum (KOSP), making teaching modules, differentiated learning, and learning assessments. Regarding this problem, the solution offered is to provide assistance to educators and school principals. The implementation step is to provide assistance and workshops to them. The result is that educators gain new insights into the development of assessment instruments using a new paradigm for sekolah penggerak. The team recommends the need to make a follow-up plan related to mentoring learning with a new paradigm.

Abstract

Science education plays a crucial role in equipping students with essential knowledge about themselves and their environment. In the 21st-century educational era, emphasizing the development of critical thinking skills becomes essential, given the complex challenges faced by modern society. This study focuses on the application of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach in science education to enhance the critical thinking abilities and scientific literacy of fourth-grade students at Anak Saleh Elementary School in Malang. Through a Classroom Action Research method conducted collaboratively with teachers, this research observes the effectiveness of the STEAM approach in creating a conducive learning environment for students to actively construct their knowledge through real activities. The research subjects included 28 students, comprising 11 boys and 17 girls. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and tests, both multiple-choice and descriptive, to produce qualitative and quantitative data. Initial results show a significant improvement in critical thinking and scientific literacy skills, with the percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria (MMC) increasing from 71.42% in the first cycle to 89.28% in the second cycle. These findings affirm that the STEAM approach can be an effective strategy in enhancing students' critical thinking and scientific literacy skills while providing insights for the development of more innovative science education methods in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menguji keefektifan pembelajaran model flipped classrom terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik; (2) menguji perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dan rendah; (3) menguji interaksi model flipped classroom dan efikasi diri terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 60 mahasiswa dipilih secara random sampling yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of Varians) dua jalur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) mahasiswa PGSD yang dibelajarkan dengan model flipped classroom memiliki hasil belajar yang berbeda dengan mahasiswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction; (2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik terhadap mahasiswa yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dan rendah; (3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran flipped classrom dan efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan penggunaan model pembelajaran ini dapat ditingkatkan sebagai model alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam kurikulum pendidikan matematika SD.

Abstract

Self-efficacy, or an individual's belief in their ability to accomplish tasks, plays a crucial role in academic success, particularly at the primary education level. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to analyze empirical studies from the past five years (2019-2024) focusing on the impact of self-efficacy on primary school students. Literature searches were conducted across three major databases: Google Scholar, SINTA, and Scopus, yielding 213 articles, which were subsequently screened to obtain 10 articles meeting the inclusion criteria. The analysis process involved three-stage thematic coding: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, followed by validation through researcher triangulation and member checking. This study explored the impacts of high and low self-efficacy on students' academic performance and identified factors influencing self-efficacy formation, such as family support, teaching quality, school environment, and social interactions. The findings revealed that high self-efficacy positively correlates with better academic achievement, active learning engagement, and resilience in facing academic challenges, while low self-efficacy negatively impacts students' participation in academic activities and learning motivation. The analysis also uncovered the critical role of success experiences, social support, and learning environment quality in shaping students' self-efficacy. Based on these findings, further research is recommended to design more effective interventions for enhancing self-efficacy through social reinforcement and positive academic experiences, supporting students' long-term development across various life aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a textbook for the Elementary School Teacher Education program, specifically targeting 5th-semester students. The textbook is designed to align with the current syllabus of the Elementary School Curriculum Study and Development course, focusing on enhancing students' conceptual understanding of the subject. To ensure the textbook’s effectiveness in promoting learning, the ADDIE model—comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—was used as the research framework. Data was collected using a semi-open questionnaire for validation purposes. Expert validation showed strong qualification scores across three key areas: content and material (87.50%), presentation (89.06%), and language (87.50%). In addition, small group trials conducted with 30 students yielded an average acceptance rate of 87.00%, confirming that the textbook is well-received and suitable for use in the course. This study contributes to the development of curriculum materials that are aligned with the evolving educational paradigm and enhances the quality of teaching in elementary education.

Abstract

Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, seorang guru perlu merancang kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Seorang guru harus merancang pembelajaran agar pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan. Dalam menyusun rancangan pembelajaran, seorang guru pasti memilih pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi yang akan diajarkan kepada peserta didik. Pada kenyataannya masih banyak guru yang merancang kegiatan pembelajaran dengan detail proses yang masih kurang. Hal ini sesuai dengan fakta di lapangan, dimana pada SD Negeri di Gugus 2 Kecamatan Kedungkandang, Kota Malang. Terdapat beberapa kendala yang dialami guru, seperti guru yang belum memahami perancangan pembelajaran berfokus proses pembelajaran, guru berfokus pada perancangan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada proses pembelajaran, dan guru masih belum menjabarkan Kompetensi Dasar/Capaian Pembelajaran yang lebih spesifik, sehingga guru kurang merancang rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan detail. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian ini mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan rencana pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Understanding by Design. Metode kegiatan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Metode ini dilakukan dengan pengamatan secara langsung pada kondisi di lapangan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah hasil praktik rancangan pembelajaran ketika mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan. Kata kunci— Pengabdian Masyarakat, Pendekatan Pembelajaran, Understanding by Design

Abstract

This literature review explores the integration of digital evaluation media in elementary schools, highlighting its potential to enhance student engagement, personalize learning, and support data-driven decision-making. The reviewed studies indicate that digital tools, such as formative assessments, digital portfolios, and educational games, provide timely feedback and foster self-regulated learning. However, challenges related to the reliability and validity of digital assessments, as well as the need for teacher training, are identified. The analysis emphasizes the importance of professional development for educators to effectively use digital tools and interpret assessment data. Additionally, the role of data analytics in informing instructional decisions and addressing individual learning needs is discussed. The findings suggest implications for educational practice and policy, including the establishment of guidelines for digital assessment standards and efforts to bridge the digital divide. While digital evaluation media presents promising opportunities, successful implementation requires addressing technical, pedagogical, and equity-related challenges. The review concludes that a collaborative approach involving educators, researchers, and policymakers is essential for maximizing the impact of digital assessment in elementary education.

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia membawa perubahan dalam cara menyusun perangkat pembelajaran, terutama modul ajar yang kini harus memuat nilai-nilai karakter pelajar Pancasila. Di SD Laboratorium UM Kota Blitar, para guru menghadapi kesulitan dalam membuat modul ajar yang sesuai dengan ketentuan tersebut. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar yang sistematis dan terintegrasi dengan nilai karakter pelajar Pancasila melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Program dilaksanakan melalui workshop selama tiga hari yang memadukan teori dan praktik langsung dengan melibatkan 17 guru kelas. Kegiatan terdiri dari tahap perencanaan berupa analisis kebutuhan, tahap pelaksanaan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan modul, serta tahap evaluasi program. Setelah mengikuti program ini, para guru menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam membuat modul ajar yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter pelajar Pancasila di dalamnya, dibuktikan dengan skor post-test yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pre-test. Modul yang dihasilkan telah melalui proses review dan revisi untuk memastikan kualitasnya. Keberhasilan program ini berkontribusi dalam membantu sekolah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan lebih baik sehingga dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan nasional.
