Abstract

This research is aimed to develop a particle dynamics module integrated traditional games that is applied in e-learning to improve scientific literacy skills. This study was a developmental research because it developed a module based on local wisdom with the R and D method developed by Borg and Gall. Research procedures included preliminary studies, product planning, product development, product validation (validation by experts), product revisions and field tests. Field trials used one group pretest-posttest design with 19 students of 4th natural science education as the samples. The instruments used were validation sheets and scientific literacy test. The results showed that the Particle Dynamics module based on local wisdom of traditional games was declared valid and feasible by experts to be implemented in distance learning (e-learning). In addition, the application of the particle dynamics module based on local wisdom of the traditional game through e-learning had a moderate effect on students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Today's problem in STEM learning is that STEM-based learning has not been carried out optimally. Most of the teachers experienced many problems related to IT-based media. In addition, the form of HOTS-based learning evaluation has not been fully mastered by the teacher. This training aims to improve the skills of teachers in STEM learning at the primary school level. Implementing the activities carried out are workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The target participants consisted of 16 teachers from the Malang City cluster one primary school. The results of this training show an increase in the skills of teachers with STEM learning. The indicators that as many as 16 teachers have made STEM-based learning media according to the material in elementary schools. However, all the results of the teacher's products require minor improvements. The trainees' response also showed a positive response in STEM learning training in elementary schools to develop skills in the 21st century.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the interactive picture and picture learning model on improving students' learning motivation in elementary school science. The author used quantitative research, which involved the entire class V A population at Oro-Oro Ombo Wetan 1 Elementary School in the academic year 2022-2023. The research method used was Pre Experimental Design with a non-pure experimental model (one-shot case study). Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire to measure the increase in students' learning motivation in class V A. For data analysis, the independent variable (x) was the interactive picture and picture learning model, while the dependent variable (y) was the improvement in students' learning motivation. The analysis used was the one-sample t-test, with a significance level of 5% (0.05), resulting in a significant t-value (2-tailed) of 0.006. Therefore, the obtained significance value of t 0.006 < 0.05 means that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Hence, there is an influence of the interactive picture and picture model on improving students' learning motivation in elementary school science at Oro-Oro Ombo Wetan 1 Elementary School in class V A.

Abstract

This research aims to determine student activeness by implementing the problem-based learning model in elementary school science education. It is a quantitative research study with the entire 5B class population. The design used in this study is a one-shot case study, and data collection involved using observation sheets to measure student activeness. The subjects of this research are 31 students from class 5B at SDN Oro-Oro Ombo Wetan 1. Data collection utilized validity tests, reliability tests, tests for prerequisite analysis of normality, and the results of the T-test (One-Sample Statistics) with a significance level of 5% (0.05), yielding a significant t-value (2-tailed) of 0.004. Based on the validity results, all 30 observation items and 31 student responses were deemed valid. The reliability test indicated reliability, and the normality test confirmed that the residual values were normally distributed. The t-test result showed that the significance value of student activeness was 0.004, less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This means that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model on student activeness in science learning. If this model is implemented in elementary schools, it will positively impact student activeness and engagement in the learning process.

Abstract

In the current era, learning activities in schools require teachers to use innovative learning media, teachers in schools often use communication tools as a tool to assist learning activities in class, there are many learning media used by teachers, one of which is YouTube learning video media. With the existence of YouTube learning video media, it makes it easier students understand the material provided and can instill students' cognitive abilities on theme 6 (energy sources and changes) in class III. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze students' cognitive abilities through the media of YouTube learning videos in class III SDN Gedangan. Researchers use descriptive qualitative research methods, with the type of case study research where researchers can understand and search for cases and look for these results. From the data on the cognitive ability test results of class III students at SDN Gedangan obtained the following scores: obtaining a score of 100 with a percentage of 38%, a score of 96 with a percentage of 41%, a score of 92 with a percentage of 15% and a score of 88 with a percentage of 5%. From the average student overall score data, it is known that the percentage is 96.42% of the overall score of students' cognitive ability test scores. Where this figure is included in the "very good" category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of YouTube learning video media can improve the cognitive abilities of class III students at SDN Gedangan.

Abstract

Kemampuan kognitif merupakan kemampuan dasar peserta didik dalam mengembangkan kemampuan lainnya terutama kemampuan pada abad ke 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi perubahan wujud zat di SDN Kedungbanteng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas 4 SDN Kedungbanteng dalam pembelajaran IPAS berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi perubahan wujud zat memperoleh nilai rata rata 94,7 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Olelh karelna itu melnunjukkan bahwa pelmbellajaran IPAS belrbasis kelarifan lokal ini dapat digunakan selbagai salah satu meldia pelmbellajaran dalam prosels pelmbellajaran yang melngacu dalam melningkatkan kelmampuan kognitif pelselrta didik karelna sudah diuji dan disimpulkan melnyatakan hasil yang baik.

Abstract

The objectives of this study to describe the character value and its barriers of environmental caring habit in SDN Kedungturi of Adiwiyata. Phenomenological qualitative method is applied, the background of study related to the common phenomenon such in researcher's sorrounding.The primary data are chunks and behavior white documents and thers are as supporting data. Applicable technique is triangulation which are observation, depth-interview and documentation. From the six indicators analysed, two levels of application are found the high and medium. Researcher has been determined students whose environmental ambassador label have got intensive habit and environmental knowledge from their teachers very well. As a result, those students become role model for their friends, so that the environment caring as character value in SDN Kedungturi able to work effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Experimental Method on cognitive learning outcomes in science learning at SDN Sawohan 1. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental quantitative type of experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling using saturated sampling technique. The instrument used is a written test which is made according to the indicators of cognitive learning outcomes. Data collection in this research is by using pretest and posttest sheets. Data were analyzed using t-test and eta squared test. The results of the hypothesis test of the control class and the experimental class are 8.39 > 2.01 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be seen that there is an effect of the experimental method to improve cognitive learning outcomes. In addition, the eta squared test results obtained a value of 0.08 with eta square criteria < 0.014, the result is that the experimental method has a moderate effect on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of scan barcode based 3D Puzzle Media on Learning Outcomes in 5th Grade Students of SDN Krembung 1 Science Learning. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with the type of pre-experimental designs in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument in this study uses pretest and posttest test instruments. The samples in this study were grade 5 students at SDN Krembung 1. The results showed that there was an effect of audio-visual-based 3D puzzle media on learning outcomes in science learning which was obtained t count = 2.052, then obtained t table 1729. Because 2,052 > 1,729 Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that there is a significant difference. From the calculation results of the normlized g > 0.70 test which interprets the high (high) effect of using audio-visual-based 3D puzzle media on learning outcomes in science learning. To find out how much influence scan barcode 3D puzzle media has on learning outcomes in science learning, 5th grade students of SDN Krembung 1 can see in the table n gain score % which interprets the use of puzzle media on learning outcomes in science learning as much as 70.71%.

Abstract

This reserch is motivated by the low learning outcomes of elementary school students after hybride learning are a new problem in the world of education, so there is a need for a solution to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence and improvement of learning outcomes of grade IV students at SDN Sidoarjo on the material properties of light. The use of the PBI model with a mind mapping method on science material is one of the effective ways to help students to understand the concept of science, so that the learning carried out is based on authentic problems in real life. Trianto (2011) PBI is a model that uses problems in everyday life so that students understand concepts not by memorizing but through their own discoveries. This research uses quantitative research methods for true experimental design experiments. The results of the hypothesis test study using the Independent Sample T-Test t test obtained a sig (α) < 0.05 (0.002 < 0.05). The percentage of increase in n-gain in the experimental class was 58% and the control class was 36%, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of problem-based instruction models with the mind mapping method on the learning outcomes of grade IV students elementary school.
