Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of the make a match cooperative learning model on students' learning motivation. Motivation to learn is important in the learning process because with motivation to learn, individuals can have goals and enthusiasm for learning. The make a match type cooperative learning model is a learning model that invites students to look for answers to a question or pair of a concept through a pair card game. The research method used is a one group pretest-posttest design. The experimental group will be given a treatment, namely the application of the make a match model to the material of the solar system. Whereas the control class was not given treatment, but it was given another method, namely the lecture and question and answer method. After that, a post test is given, using a questionnaire sheet at the final stage in order to find out how much influence the make a match learning model has on students' learning motivation in the solar system material. Based on the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the make a match type cooperative learning model on student learning motivation. This can be seen from the increased learning motivation of students in the high N-Gain category after being given learning with this model.

Abstract

General Background: Batik art, as a significant element of Indonesia’s intangible cultural heritage, represents the confluence of artistic expression, cultural identity, and spiritual values. Specific Background: The organization of batik festivals and preservation initiatives not only honors ancestral legacies but also serves as a strategic avenue for promoting culture-based tourism rooted in local traditions and religious harmony. Knowledge Gap: Despite the cultural richness of batik, there is insufficient integration of batik preservation efforts with tourism promotion strategies, particularly those involving the active role of youth. Aims: This study aims to highlight the multifaceted contributions of the younger generation in elevating the value of batik art through cultural promotion and preservation. Results: Young individuals have demonstrated significant influence by utilizing social media to promote batik festivals, raising public awareness about the cultural importance of local products, and embodying batik’s philosophical meanings. Their participation in creating communities of cultural enthusiasts, learning and practicing batik techniques, wearing batik in educational and governmental settings, and engaging in fashion contests as batik ambassadors underscores their active role in cultural sustainability. Novelty: The involvement of youth in batik preservation through contemporary digital and participatory channels presents a dynamic model of intergenerational cultural transmission that bridges heritage with innovation. Implications: The integration of batik art into tourism promotion strategies through youth participation offers potential for strengthening cultural appreciation, enhancing religious and cultural unity, and positioning batik as a vital element in Indonesia’s cultural tourism development. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan kognitif siswa sekolah dasar berdasarkan gaya belajar mereka pada mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya pada materi perubahan wujud zat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi kualitatif, dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara langsung terhadap 4 siswa kelas IV di MINU Sumokali yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga gaya belajar, yaitu gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan kemampuan kognitif yang dinilai melalui enam indikator: mengingat, memahami, mengaplikasikan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori (ZDN3) mencapai nilai tertinggi, dikategorikan sangat baik, sementara siswa dengan gaya belajar visual (FTR1) juga mendapat nilai sangat baik, dan siswa dengan gaya belajar visual (HFZ2) serta kinestetik (AGS4) dikategorikan baik. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa menunjukkan kemampuan kognitif yang baik, secara efektif terlibat dengan materi perubahan wujud zat. Abstract

The revitalization of vacant land around water bodies is one of the strategies for developing sustainable tourism villages. Padi Village, located in Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, has significant potential to transform unproductive land into an eco-based tourist destination. The Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pencerahan (KKN-P) program of group 55 from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo focuses on land revitalization by establishing Ecovibe Garden, an educational tourism park that prioritizes sustainability and environmental conservation. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation to analyze the impact of revitalization on the community and the environment. The results indicate that this revitalization initiative enhances tourism appeal, creates new economic opportunities for the local community, and raises awareness about environmental conservation. Through collaboration between academics, the government, and the community, this program is expected to serve as a model for sustainable tourism village development.

Abstract

Today's problem in STEM learning is that STEM-based learning has not been carried out optimally. Most of the teachers experienced many problems related to IT-based media. In addition, the form of HOTS-based learning evaluation has not been fully mastered by the teacher. This training aims to improve the skills of teachers in STEM learning at the primary school level. Implementing the activities carried out are workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The target participants consisted of 16 teachers from the Malang City cluster one primary school. The results of this training show an increase in the skills of teachers with STEM learning. The indicators that as many as 16 teachers have made STEM-based learning media according to the material in elementary schools. However, all the results of the teacher's products require minor improvements. The trainees' response also showed a positive response in STEM learning training in elementary schools to develop skills in the 21st century.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media nyata terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa SD kelas IV pada materi akar dan batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif pre eksperimen. Populasi dan sampel siswa SDN Gempol Kelas IV. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar, yang selanjutnya instrumen soal diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan N-Gain dengan perhitungan selisih antara pretes dan posttes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa, melalui nilai pre test dan post test pada  16 siswa berkategori tinggi dan efektif, 17 siswa berkategori sedang dan cukup efektif dan 2 siswa berkategori rendah dan tidak efektif, dengan demikian siswa yang berkategori sedang ke atas adalah 33 siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ialah ada pengaruh media nyata terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi akar dan batang di siswa SD kelas IV. Media nyata ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi kepada tenaga pendidik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif pada mata pelajaran IPA di SD.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam kegiatan penyelidikan/penelitian, mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam bersikap ilmiah serta kemampuan siswa dalam berkomunikasi ilmiah. Penilaian kemampuan siswa dalam kegiatan penyelidikan/penelitian meliputi kemampuan menyusun penyelidikan/penelitian, memilih instrumen, mengumpulkan data, mengolah/menganalisis data serta menyimpulkan hasil. Penilaian kemampuan siswa dalam bersikap ilmiah meliputi kemampuan memperhatikan pendapat siswa lain, bekerja sama serta mengembangkan keingintahuan. Penilaian kemampuan siswa dalam berkomunikasi ilmiah meliputi kemampuan membuat laporan tertulis, menyampaikan pendapat serta menyatakan argumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya pencapaian yang baik pada masing-masing aspek kompetensi Dari hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran dengan model terpadu tipe connected dapat mengembangkan kompetensi ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan metakognitif siswa melalui pembelajaran tematik-integratif Siswa Kelas V Di MI Manbaul Hikmah Kediri dan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala yang ditemukan selama pembelajaran Pembelajaran Tematik-Integratif Siswa Kelas V Di MI Manbaul Hikmah Kediri. Tujuan jangka panjang yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatkan ranah afektif dan psikomotorik siswa SD dalam pembelajaran tematik-integratif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pada setiap siklus PTK yaitu siklus 1 dan siklus 2 terdapat beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan antara lain : perancangan, tindakan dan observasi, refleksi serta revisi. Kemampuan metakognitif siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kempuan siswa membuat rancangan secara jelas langkah/prosedur yang akan dilakukan dengan anggota kelompoknya masing-masing sebelum melakukan kegiatan pengamatan dan diskusi. Selain itu, siswa juga telah mampu membuat prediksi dari berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi dan telah diamati dan di diskusikan dalam kegiatan kelompok dan sekaligus mampu melakukan evaluasi dari hasil prediksi yang dilakukan sebelumnya

Abstract

PGSD student's character can be seen from various aspects of the attitude that must be owned by an educator, especially educators in primary school. Some of these aspects are honesty, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and independence. Aspects of honesty student still low category, the aspect of cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and independence are being categorized. The purpose of this research is to describe the increase in student character study program PGSD On Learning Course Development IPA SD At the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. In conducting the study, researchers used a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). Based on the results of the study in the first cycle and the second cycle, it can be seen that there is a rise in the value of the character of students in primary school teaching courses Learning Development IPA SD from the first cycle to the second cycle. Value of character in the first cycle of 71.4, while the value of the character in the second cycle of 98.5. This shows that there is an increase of 27.1 of all indicators of character shown by students of primary school teaching course on development of Elementary Science Lesson.
