Abstract

One of Quran's privileges is that reading it is worship. Basically, all of worships which is recommended by religion have process of closing to Allah. Reading al-Qur'an also have certain manners. One of them is ablution, reading it in holy and clean place, reading it slowly and humblely. Qur'an in daily life is one of Muslim's effort to unifies Quranic values with postmodern society life. By Qur'an in daily life, postmodern Muslim is expected to be able reading the Qur'an easily. Therefore, visualization of mushaf is needed which is developed and its form, style and composition are alluring. So that al-Qur'an is printed as interesting forms as possible and accessible whenever and wherever. But, all the convenience obtained cause Muslims not to take care manners of reading the Qur'an so that it is read in carelessly places. Finally, virtue value of reading the Qur'an is not obtained. Using visualization of mushaf theory, this research intends to reveal two things. First, what is meant by Qur'an in daily life? Second, how is practice of Qur'an in daily life according to comentators? This research produces two conclusion. First, Qur'an in daily life is a concept which move on from assumption that Quran is positioned as source of Muslims life, so that presumed there is interaction between Quran and them. Second, there are certain manners of reading the Quran which refer to Quranic verses, for example QS. An-Nahl [16]: 98, QS. Al-Muzzammil [73]: 4, and QS. Shaad [38]: 29. Reading ta'awwuż, when someone will read Qur'an, reading it slowly and reading it by reflecting its meaning (tadabbur).

Abstract

Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile in Islamic education at madrasahs is an interesting educational phenomenon in the context of integrating Islamic values with national values. The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile at madrasahs faces the challenge of balancing the development of religious character with national character in accordance with the values of Pancasila. Madrasahs have a strategic role in shaping students who not only have strong spiritual competence but are also capable of becoming Indonesian citizens with character. The integration of these two value systems requires a holistic and contextual learning approach to produce graduates with a complete Indonesian Muslim identity. This study aims to answer how the implementation of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile in Islamic Education at State Elementary Madrasah 2 Pamekasan is carried out and what the results are. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach at MIN 2 Pamekasan. Data sources include Islamic religion teachers, students, the madrasah principal, and parents. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with triangulation of sources. The research results indicate that the implementation was carried out through a holistic integrative approach with three stages: planning (integration of Pancasila values into the lesson plan), implementation (collaborative learning, contextual approach, and integration of global diversity), and evaluation (authentic assessment and behavioral observation). The implementation produced three positive impacts: improved understanding of religious and Pancasila values, development of character traits such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy, and enhanced ability to collaborate and appreciate differences, reflecting the success of the transformative Islamic education model.

Abstract

Religious extracurricular activities in educational institutions are a strategic step in strengthening the religious character of students. Through these activities, students not only understand their obligations as Muslims, but are also able to practice religious teachings in their daily lives so that these religious values become ingrained in their personalities. Therefore, religious extracurricular activities play an important role as a means of forming, strengthening, and internalizing religious values in students. Based on this background, this study aims to reveal the implementation of religious extracurricular activities and the role of school members in supporting these activities as an effort to cultivate worship habits in order to strengthen the religious character of students at SMAN 1 Pamekasan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type. Research data were obtained from primary and secondary sources through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model that included the stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results showed that religious extracurricular activities were carried out through the habit of praying in congregation, religious lectures, social activities, and religious holidays. These activities aim to foster discipline, religious enthusiasm, responsibility, and shape the personality of a perfect human being. The role of the school community includes the principal, who instills habits of worship and positive behavior in a continuous manner, and teachers, who play an active role in understanding, instilling, and motivating students to have a strong religious character.

Abstract

The dissemination of religious moderation through various currents of thought continues to evolve, as evidenced by the increasing number of academic publications discussing religious moderation from diverse perspectives. However, while academic research has succeeded in enhancing public understanding, the literature often focuses more on verses pertaining to aḥkām, neglecting the study of religious moderation based on narrative verses in the Qur’an, which serve as a role models for expressing religion in a moderate manner. This research emphasizes the reasoning behind religious moderation based on the story of Abraham in the Qur’an, analyzed through the lens of the Islamic trilogy. Utilizing literature data and the theory of maqāṣidī interpretation, this paper identifies three models of religious moderation exemplified by Prophet Abraham according to the Islamic trilogy: First, the dimension of faith, which involves understanding and strengthening the prominence of monotheism through correct and proper religious comprehension. Second, the dimension of Sharia, which narrates values aimed at upholding humanity and welfare. Third, the dimension of morality, which emphasizes the importance of peaceful preaching to foster harmony in religious diversity and plurality.

Abstract

Islamic teachings in the Quran are fused in the community life of West Pakandangan Village, district Bluto at Sumenep Madura. It is not only expressed through reading and exploring the moral messages, or is treated as magical and powerful objects, but also is an aesthetic reception. For instance using a piece of written verses as accessories at homes, mosques and others. This research is qualitative in nature, employing both literary review and field research. It uses phenomenological analysis and content analysis. The findings show; first, the ideological typology of Quran reception in West Pakandangan involves exegetical, aesthetic and functional receptions. Second, the surface structure of reception symbols presents the religious community. While the deep structure exists in the form of social harmony, social stratification, educational media and pragmatic logical structure on the miracle of Quran. Thirdly, the typology reception of West Pakandangan society in the discourse of Quran and commentary can be categorized as a realist and transformative interpretation, that is dialectic and negotiated interpretation with the social context developed in the community. Ajaran-ajaran Islam yang termuat dalam al Quran sudah menyatu dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Pakandangan Barat, Kecamatan Bluto, Kabupaten. Sumenep Madura. Penyatuan tersebut selain diekspresikan dengan cara dibaca dan dikaji pesan-pesan moralnya, diperlakukan sebagai “benda ajaib” yang berkekuatan magic, juga diresepsi secara estetis. Misalnya potongan ayat ditulis dan dijadikan aksesoris rumah, masjid dan lainnya. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif, yaitu penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan sekaligus. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis fenomenologis dan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan; pertama, tipologi ideologi resepsi al Quran di Pakandangan Barat, berupa resepsi eksegetis, resepsi estetis dan resepsi fungsional. Kedua, struktur luar (surface structure) simbolisasi resepsi menunjukkan sebagai masyarakat yang religius. Sementara struktur dalamnya (deep structure) berupa harmonisasi sosial, stratifikasi sosial, media edukatif dan struktur logika pragmatis tentang kemukjizatan al Quran. Ketiga, tipologi resepsi masyarakat Pakandangan Barat dalam diskursus ilmu al Quran dan tafsir dapat dikategorikan sebagai tafsir realis dan transformatif, yaitu tafsir yang berdialektika dan bernegosiasi dengan konteks sosial yang sedang berkembang di masyarakat.

Abstract

Praktik pernikahan dini di Desa Bicabbi, Kec. Dungkek, Kab. Sumenep, merupakan isu sosial yang berdampak luas pada aspek pendidikan dan ekonomi. Fenomena ini semakin mengkhawatirkan karena masyarakat bersikap apatis terhadap dampak negatifnya. Faktor dominan disebabkan rendahnya tingkat pendidikan orang tua yang berimplikasi pada maraknya angka putus sekolah dikeranakan anak-anak pergi merantau ke luar kota pasca pernikahan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memutus mata rantai praktik pernikahan dini sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat bahwa pendidikan merupakan ivestasi masa depan bangsa. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan beberapa metode, di antaranya kegiatan seminar ilmiah, pemutaran video, ceramah agama dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan tersebut menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat Desa Bicabbih, Kec. Dungkek tentang urgensi pendidikan untuk masa depan anak-anaknya cukup signifikan. Argumen urgensi pendidikan ini terletak pada kebutuhan mendesak untuk memperluas program edukasi guna memutus mata rantai pernikahan dini dengan fokus pada pendekatan yang lebih efektif dan komprehensif dan penyampaian materi yang lebih mendalam tentang urgensi pendidikan di masa depan.
