Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan outbound role play terhadap perilaku sosial anak usia dini. Penelitian didasari atas pentingnya aspek perkembangan sosial emosional anak khususnya perilaku prososial. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen quasi eksperimental design dengan menggunakan model nonequivalent control group design.  Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan cara purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelompok B3 TK Telkom  Kota  Makassar Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada proses penelitian ini ialah dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan juga analisis nonparametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa kegiatan outbound role play dapat meningkatkan perilaku prososial anak, setelah dilakukan kegiatan outbound role play perilaku prososial anak mengalami perkembangan serta peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan dapat dilihat bahwa anak mampu membangun komunikasi, anak mampu mengembangkan interaksi sosial serta anak mampu bekerjasama.

Abstract

This accreditation guidance activity is carried out based on an analysis of the situation and problems found where the perception of educators and PAUD education staff is still low on the implementation of accreditation. This mentoring activity was carried out for one day at the An Nur Khaeriyah Playgroup located in Tanete Rilau District, Barru Regency.The methods used in this mentoring activity are counseling, discussion and, as well as practice and assignments. The participants involved in this activity are 1 manager and 3 educators. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that participants can absorb the material well and can and understand all the material presented by the supervisor. The success of mentoring activities cannot be separated from the strong desire of educators and education staff as well as discipline during mentoring activities. The reflection of this mentoring activity was that the participants in general could absorb the material well, but there were still some things that needed to be improved, especially in the aspect of implementing the STPPA indicators

Abstract

The aim of this PPM activity is to help PAUD teachers in Majene Regency to find, create and apply material for English teaching and learning activities interactively and according to the children's ages. This activity was carried out in Majene Regency in order to help kindergarten teachers in Majene Regency to find and know how to actively teach English to children so that children can know and recognize vocabulary in English according to their developmental stages. Teachers as educators in early childhood education institutions play a role that is no less important than parents and the community. Education services in schools as the first and foremost place of education in early childhood education are responsible for meeting the needs of children to grow and develop. So whatever the teacher does in the school environment will have an impact on the child's life in the future. If teachers are able to provide good educational services, then children will naturally receive good learning intake too, and vice versa. The method for implementing this activity is intensive training with a combination of theory and practice as well as discussion and performance of workshop results at the end of the training. The introduction and strengthening of TEYL principles is carried out while still considering and respecting their (participants') position as teachers who have different backgrounds and experiences. This PPM activity emphasizes the use of songs, stories, games and crafts to help organize the English language learning process in PAUD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistic (PMR) di UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamalanrea II. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan selama 3 siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI C yang terdiri dari 27 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes yang dilaksanakan setiap siklus serta tes pretest dan post test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan tingkat pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I adalah 69,67%, siklus II adalah 77,22%, dan siklus III adalah 91,48%. Rata-rata nilai hasil pretest siswa adalah 45,92% dan rata-rata nilai hasil posttest siswa adalah 86,15%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes setiap akhir siklus dan tes pretest-posttest dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar matematika siswa Kelas VI C UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamalanrea II pada tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Konsep Matematis, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR)

Abstract

Early reading ability is essential for children’s literacy development; however, observations at Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten in Polewali Mandar reveal that many children still struggle to recognize letters, sounds, and simple words. This study aims to develop flashcard media equipped with an audio-reading device to improve early reading skills and to test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Using a Research and Development (R&D) design with the ADDIE model, the study involved expert validation, teacher response questionnaires, observations, and assessments of children’s reading abilities. The results indicate that the flashcard media is “Very Valid” (88.8%), “Very Practical” (93.1%), and “Very Effective” (91.2%). The media significantly enhanced children’s ability to recognize, categorize, and pronounce English word cards. These findings align with Vygotsky’s scaffolding theory, Piaget’s preoperational development, behaviorist reinforcement, and multimodal learning principles. Overall, the flashcard media provides an interactive and engaging learning experience and serves as an effective tool to support early reading development in early childhood education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in children's listening skills before and after being treated with the storytelling method using pop-up book media and to determine whether or not there was an effect of storytelling method using pop-up book media on children's listening ability in Mentari Kindergarten, Kabupaten Mentari. Takalar. The approach in this research is quantitative with the type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were groups A and B in Mentari Kindergarten, Takalar Regency totaling 26 children and the sampling used was purposive sampling with 14 children, 7 children as the experimental group and 7 children as the control group. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and nonparametric analysis. The results showed that there were differences in children's listening skills before and after being treated with the storytelling method using pop-up book media and there was an effect of storytelling using pop-up book media on children's listening skills in Mentari Kindergarten, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan bagi guru di IGTKI Kecamatan Polombangkeng Selatan, Kabupaten Takalar untuk pembuatan media pembelajaran picture book karir. Kegiatan ini di latar belakangi setelah tim melakukan analisis situasi dan permasalahan pada mitra PKM, ditemukan data yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memilih media pembelajaran yang bisa meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa ekspresif pada anak secara optimal hal ini karena beberapa faktor seperti keterbatasan wawasan mengenai media yang sesuai untuk anak usia dini, dan minumnya pelatihan khusus dalam pemanfaatan media berbasis visual dan interaktif. Pelatihan ini bertujuan pada pengembangan kemampuan guru dalam menciptakan media belajar yang inovatif dengan memanfaatkan berbagai alat untuk mendukung pembelajaran anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap, mulai dari pemberian materi teoritis, perancangan konsep, praktik pembuatan media, hingga uji coba di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode cara bervariasi dan praktek dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengembangkan kemampuan guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran picture book karir Metode pendekatan yang ditawarkan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat pada mitra adalah ceramah dan diskusi oleh tim PKM dengan memakai 40% teori dan 60% menggunakan praktek langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun media ajar yang interaktif, komunikatif, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga mendorong guru untuk lebih percaya diri dan kreatif dalam mengembangkan materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise public awareness, especially among the younger generation, about the importance of preserving local wisdom and developing character through educational visual campaigns on social media. The activity was motivated by the declining interest of young people in regional cultural values due to the strong influence of globalization and digital media. The implementation method consisted of several stages: identifying local wisdom values, creating educational visual content (infographics, posters, and short videos), publishing the content on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, and evaluating audience engagement. The results showed that using social media as an educational tool effectively attracted public interest and participation in understanding and appreciating local culture. The high level of audience engagement indicated that visual approaches are effective in delivering moral messages and character values. Through this activity, social media proved to function not only as a means of entertainment but also as a medium for education and cultural preservation. Therefore, the educational visual campaign serves as an innovative form of community service in the digital era, relevant to current developments and supporting the formation of Pancasila Student Profiles who are characterized, cultured, and nationally minded.

Abstract

The current global challenge focuses on the role of digitalization, which increasingly leads to changes in transformative cultural values ​​for children. The purpose of this study is to describe the challenges of digitalization in shifting transformative-based cultural values ​​in early childhood. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) through data analysis of 287 literature manuscripts. As well as sorting data based on the needs of research variables using 42 literature manuscripts, reviewed by the data retrieval process using 22 literature manuscripts that include research results and discussions that explain the shift in transformative cultural values ​​​​that have been inserted through AI (Artificial Intelligence)-based digital content. The content presented really shows the perfection of the design without any design that can differentiate non-AI-based content. In addition, the technological approach without rules and guidance by adults. Transformative-based cultural values ​​​​without conceptual filtering. Will affect children's ability to think impulsively, negative stimulus disorders (distractions) based on situations based on their imagination. A digital-based environment can dominate children's thinking, disrupting behavioral patterns in early childhood. However, current government regulations restrict access to digital technology for children under 16. This is a positive step taken by the government to protect children from the impact of shifting cultural values ​​caused by digitalization. The research suggests that parents should be more aware of the limitations of current technological developments, especially if technology has already taken over children's development.

Abstract

The implementation of socio-cultural learning in early childhood education has not been fully optimal due to the influence of differences in children's social characteristics, the lack of local culture-based learning media, limited learning time, and the lack of teacher training on socio-cultural approaches. The purpose of this research was to describe teachers' perceptions of socio-cultural learning at Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten, PAUD Pusat. This research used qualitative techniques with a descriptive approach to gain an understanding of teachers' perceptions, learning implementation, children's social interactions, and supporting and inhibiting factors for learning. The subjects of the study were two class teachers directly involved in early childhood learning activities. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that teachers had a positive perception of socio-cultural learning because it was able to support children's social development through habits of cooperation, sharing, the use of polite language, and the integration of local culture into daily learning. The implementation of learning was carried out through group play, role-playing, storytelling, singing, and cooperation. This learning had a positive influence on communication skills, social interactions, empathy, self-confidence, and an attitude of respect for children's socio-cultural context. Thus, socio-cultural learning is an effective way that can help social development and character formation from an early age in a contextual, collaborative, and sustainable manner.
