Abstract

Abstract

Determining the priority of customer needs is one of the right steps for business people to take to determine the direction of allocating their resources. In this study, affinity diagrams and tree charts are used to classify and translate the opinions of loyal customers about customer needs. The customer opinion (voice of the customer) obtained through semi-structured interviews is then translated into a technical language (voice of quality) that has a relationship and correlation to existing theories. Data in the form of items of customer need, which are the result of affinity diagram analysis and tree diagrams, are then presented using a matrix that takes the left and right chamber of the House of Quality (HOQ) matrix from the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. Matrix that adopts the left and right chamber of HOQ matrix will display the items of customer needs and their priority level. The purpose of this study is to identify the item of customer needs and determine the priority level of customer needs for micro culinary fried rice enterprise in Indonesia. The variable Service Quality in the dimension of Responsiveness with the indicator item Fast Service ranks third. Variable Perceived Benefit in the dimension A Statement of Value with items including Low Prices and Discount occupy the second position. The variable of product quality in the Performance dimension with items including Delicacy, High Quality Ingredients, Varied Menu and Large Portion is the variable of customer needs with the highest priority.

Abstract

The Breksi Cliffs, formed from ancient volcanic ash deposits, or tuff, are approximately 30 million years old and represent a geological legacy from the eruption of Mount Sumilir. Most of the local community works as miners. In 2014, Breksi received a decree to stop mining. This unsettled the miners. They could not accept that the rocky area could become a tourist destination. Pros and cons arose from fear of losing their future. This fear fueled their desire to sustainably live within the area. The research focused on the quality of G2R entrepreneurship and operational management. The research methodology used was a qualitative approach using a global mutual cooperation (G2R) approach. Data were obtained through direct observation and in-depth interviews. In-depth interviews included the Head of the Breksi Cliffs Management Team, the wife of a former rock miner, and the local community. Data processing and analysis used the tetrapreneurship model and operational management. Data are presented in the form of digital posters on area transformation, documentation images, graphs, tables, and diagrams. The results indicate that the Breksi Cliffs have achieved 95% success in providing sustainable and environmentally friendly livelihoods for Sambirejo Village residents, including former miners. This original research presents a novelty in the tourism business, where the management of Tebing Breksi implements an operational management system as part of tetrapreneurship.

Abstract

Halal certification in Indonesia plays a strategic role in protecting Muslim consumers and enhancing the competitiveness of the national halal industry. The Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) administers the certification system; however, its implementation faces challenges related to limited human resources, suboptimal job design, and fragmented inter-institutional coordination. This study analyzes how integrating job design strategies with the Tetrapreneur model can strengthen halal certification governance in BPJPH. This research employs a qualitative approach using framework analysis of policy documents, BPJPH organizational structure, and relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that aligning job design strategies with the Tetrapreneur dimensions can improve institutional coordination, strengthen quality assurance mechanisms, and support the development of a more integrated halal ecosystem. This study contributes to the literature on halal governance and public sector management by proposing an integrative conceptual framework that links human resource management with entrepreneurial governance to enhance the capacity of halal regulatory institutions.

Abstract

AbstractThe rapid growth of Muslim-friendly tourism highlights the need for a sustainable framework that goes beyond the mere provision of halal facilities and services. Despite increasing scholarly attention, limited studies have integrated community-based entrepreneurship as a central driver of Muslim-friendly tourism development. This study aims to propose a conceptual framework that combines community-based entrepreneurship with the G2R Tetrapreneur model to strengthen sustainable Muslim-friendly tourism practices. Adopting a conceptual approach, this paper synthesizes relevant literature on Muslim-friendly tourism, community-based enterprises, and entrepreneurial innovation. The proposed framework integrates four dimensions of the G2R Tetrapreneur—chainpreneur, marketpreneur, qualitypreneur, and brandpreneur—as strategic tools to empower local communities, ensure market responsiveness, maintain halal service quality, and enhance destination branding. The findings suggest that Muslim-friendly tourism development requires active community involvement and systemic entrepreneurial innovation to achieve inclusivity, competitiveness, and sustainability. The implications are twofold: theoretically, the study enriches the discourse on Muslim-friendly tourism by connecting it with community entrepreneurship and innovation models; practically, it offers policymakers, industry actors, and local communities a structured framework to design strategies for sustainable Muslim-friendly destinations. Future research is encouraged to empirically validate this framework across different socio-cultural contexts and explore its integration with digital entrepreneurship and policy governance.
