Abstract

People in ancient times when visiting someone's home by calling the owner of the house. But that way is not right to do, if the homeowner is not at home, so the homeowner cannot hear the voice of the guest calling. Therefore, a guest monitoring system was created, this system is placed on the front wall of the house. This system sends a short message to the Telegram Application that is on the homeowner's Smartphone. Using Esp32 as a microcontroller, four Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) sensors are used as guest detectors. The Internet Protocol (IP) camera is directed to guests, so homeowners can find out who guests are visiting. Every visiting guest has a voltage difference, on the pir sensor 1 if there are guests, the voltage on the pir sensor is 3.38v, pir 2 if there are guests, the voltage on the pir sensor is 3.36v, pir 3 if there are guests, the voltage on the pir sensor is 3.37v, and all pir sensors are zero if there are no guests. The purpose of research is how to design a guest monitoring system. The research results make it easy for homeowners to monitor guests visiting their homes. The homeowner reads the incoming message to the Telegram application when the PIR sensor detects the infrared existence of the guests, then opens the IP camera app to find out who guests are visiting.Keywords: Esp32, Sensor Pir, Motor Servo, Telegrambot.

Abstract

Sub-urban area is a residential area located in the suburbs, not far from the city center.Kepenuhan Raya village is one of the sub-urban areas that hasn't used wireless networks for too long. Streaming is a form of technology that allows files to be used directly without waiting for the completion of the upload / download and takes place continuously without interruption. This paper evaluates and analyzes Quality of services (QoS) on wireless networks located in sub-urban areas. Analyzing QoS includes Throughput, Delay / latency, packet loss and bandwidth. The results of the study were taken on workdays and holidays. From these studies the total bandwidth results obtained on workdays with measurements using four PCs is 19.55 Mbps and on holidays that is 18.78 Mbps. In Video Streaming QoS the average value obtained in the morning measurement is 12652588.991 bit/sec Throughput, 0.006 S Delay, and 0% Packet Loss in the morning. With data received as many as 28005431.17 Bytes and delivery time 183.8504 seconds. During the daytime, the Throughput value is 386484.83 Bits / sec, Delay 0.023 S, and Packet Loss 0%. With data received at 9105377.2 Bytes and sending time of 196.839 seconds. At night, the Throughput value is 1141260,380 Bits / sec, Delay 0.005 S, and Packet Loss 0%. With data received at 21232293.8 Bytes and sending time for 182.491 seconds. From these results it can be concluded, the greater the value of the data received, the greater the throughput too. If throughput is large, the smaller the value of Delay and Packet Loss. Keywords: Sub-Urban Area, Wireless, Streaming, QoS

Abstract

At present, PT.Mars Material Mitraindo only uses 2 computers to operate. This makes PT.Mars Material Mitraindo employees have to take turns in using a computer to input financial data. This queue makes employee performance inefficient in terms of time. So PT.Mars Material Mitraindo plans to add 14 units of computers to streamline employee performance. The method used in this research is to analyze in making simulations and designing systems. The first step taken in this study is to analyse of the placement of each computer unit then makes a simulation of it to packet tracer. The second step is to test each computer unit to make sure each computer is connected to each other. The results achieved in this study are an increase in data efficiency by 79.5978% and time efficiency by 78.1835% of the amount of data downloaded by the type of document data. Abstract

Document digitalization is expected in this modern era. However, there are so many positive and negative impacts caused by document digitalization. One of the negative impacts of digitizing documents is the high number of cheating cases in the assignment made by students. For that so, a solution to this high number of cheating cases needs to be found. Detection of the similarity of documents is one of many solutions to find out student fraud in doing the assignment. To find out the level of document similarity, a system that can detect the similarity of documents needs to be made. String matching is a method that is quite often used in building a system that can detect the level of similarity of documents. To ensure that the system has a good accuracy, several stages of testing the system need to be carried out. In this study, testing was carried out using three student assignments documents as the test data by detecting the level of similarity between each document. After several testing stages, the result shows that the highest similarity percentage is at 75.89% from comparing documents assignment one and assignment two, while the lowest similarity percentage is at 34.81% from comparing documents assignment three and assignment 1.Keyword: Similarity, String Matching, Assignments Documents.

Abstract

SMK Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru is medium-level health education institution that has laboratory supply section. The Laboratory Supply Section is tasked with providing practical needs for students. The disposable substance is the material which the student uses which runs out in one use. Managing disposable substance inventory data is still simple by using a printed list, then listing the remaining items. This creates difficulties because sometimes there are errors in recording the quantity of disposable substances. The Laboratory Supply Section requires systems that aim to monitor inventory levels and how many levels of inventory must be maintained, when supplies must be added, and how many orders must be made to meet the practicum needs of students in the laboratory. The solution to this problem is a web-based laboratory inventory system that can be used as a medium that can help manage disposable substance data in Pharmacy Laboratory. This system is equipped with notification feature via email notification. Functionality testing is also carried out using the black box testing method. From the results of black box testing, there were no errors found in any testing process. Keywords : Laboratory Inventory System, Web

Abstract

Wireless network is a wireless network that uses air as a transmission medium with the medium in the form of electromagnetic waves. Yapim Mandau-Duri Vocational School, is a private vocational school with its address at Jalan thorn kilometer 8. Yapim Mandau-Duri Vocational School currently uses an internet network in the form of a wireless network, where the wireless network at Yapim Mandau-Duri Vocational School uses two access points. at SMK Yapim Mandau-Duri, the distance and speed of signal coverage can be disrupted due to several factors, such as the transmission range that is not too far away and obstacles in the form of thick walls that hinder signal transmission at SMK Yapim Mandau-Duri. Duri High School. To determine the quality of the existing network at SMK Yapim Mandau-Duri, it is necessary to measure the quality of the network using the Quality Of Services (QoS) parameter, QoS is a method of measuring how good the service quality of the existing network is, the parameter used is Throughput. In this study the average throughput for 5 clients for 5 days starting from the first test to the fifth day. The highest average Throughput for 5 days occurred to the fifth user at 174 Kbps, and the lowest average Throughput value occurred to the second user at 149 Kbps. The average Throughput obtained was very good according to TIPHON standards. The quality of TIPHON serves to determine qualifications in measuring the quality of the internet network. Abstract

Research on Design of Hotspot Network Using Bandwidth Management has been done in Indonesia, but there is still a problem such as bandwidth monopoly. In this study the writer a design a Hotspot Network System Using Simple Queue Method to avoid monopoly in bandwidth. This research was conducted in RT 02 Kelurahan Tanah Datar, Pekanbaru City District by utilizing the writer’s personal Wifi. In this study research use 10 client as a subject to test the design with total bandwidth 30 Mbps, where its bandwidth divide in to 5 Mbps for admin and 25 Mbps for clients. The results obtained from this study 10 clients successfully connected to Wifi and there is no monopoly of bandwidth between clients Keyword : Simple Queue, Wifi, Client

Abstract

A good electric power system must have a voltage value that does not exceed the tolerance limit, also a small power loss. The tolerance limit allowed for the value of the voltage is ± 5%of the nominal value. The use of Static Var Compensator (SVC) is an attempt to overcome the problem of loss of transmission power and voltage drop due to the addition of electricalloads. In this study, SVC placement was carried out on the IEEE 14 bus transmission network using an electrical power system analysis software. Simulation results show a decrease inactive power losses from 68.5 MW to 43,7 MW and reactive power losses from 256.4 MVAR to 160,8 MVAR.Keywords – IEEE 14 Bus, Power losses, Static VAR Compensator

Abstract

Youtube is an application for sharing videos that users can access for free. In the results of a survey that has been carrying out for many users who use Youtube, they experience buffering due to the slow internet network. Therefore, bandwidth management is needed that aims to manage and control customer bandwidth so that bandwidth usage can be evenly distributed by using the Queue Tree Method on Mikrotik. The Queue Tree method is a method that can divide bandwidth by marking the service from the package used by the customer. This research was conducted for five days by comparing the existing conditions and conditions using the Queue Tree Method based on testing one of the Quality Of Service (QoS) parameters such as Delay. The results of the study concluded that the analysis carried out on the QoS Parameters for the Youtube in Existing Conditions obtained a considerable Delay value in the Afternoon time of 524,87 ms, including the Bad Category and the Delay value obtained in Queue Tree Conditions of 11,83 ms included in the Very Good Category. In this case, using the Queue Tree Method, the network quality is better than the existing network conditions because of the bandwidth usage that is distributed evenly to each customer.Keywords: Youtube, Bandwidth Management, Queue Tree, Quality of Service.

Abstract

Chicken eggs can be hatched in two ways namely, incubated by a hen directly and by using a created egg hatching machine. The egg hatching machine replaces role of the hen in egg incubation process. Checking hatching machines manually by checking the stabilities of temperature and humidity in the hatching room one by one, cause temperature and humidity instabilities to be a problem, so eggs are failed to hatch. This problem can be solved by using monitoring and pengendalian system of a hatching machine uses XBee Tansmitter and XBee Receiver in 5meters,10meters,20meters indoor. XBee Tansmitter is on incubation machine connected to Arduino-Uno-ATMega328. DHT22-Sensor detects temperature and humidity readings. XBee Receiver is on user’s space connected to Arduino-Uno-ATMega328. SD Card saves temperature and humidity data. Temperature and humidity monitoring in 24 days since eggs were put into hatching machine in 37.80C–38.70C temperature and humidity of 50%-60%. After 3 days eggs put into machine, Servo Motor turns back 1800 Egg’s rack within eggs every 3 hours, until eggs hatch. Eggs hatched since 19th day. Total of hatching eggs are 19 from 23. Can be concluded that the research work well because hatching eggs well reached 82.61%.
