Abstract

Currently scheduling courses at S1 Informatics Engineering University of Riau University is still done manually. Such a process requires a lot of accuracy and a lot of time, so there is a possibility of a clash of schedules which results in delays in the teaching and learning process. To overcome this, this study applies the Genetic Algorithm in the Course Scheduling System to shorten the time making schedule and help solve scheduling problems. Variables used include Lecturer Data, Room Data, Course Data, and Learning Hours Data. The output is Optimal Lecture Schedule without any restrictions that are not met. The testing of the system produces an optimal schedule and there is no clash in the 255th iteration when using 1000 iterations without the limitations of Room and Hours.Keywords : Algoritma Genetika, Penjadwalan Mata Kuliah, PHP, MySQL..

Abstract

Fire is one of the most common disasters. It causes a lot of collateral damages annually. Not just material damages, casualties also took place frequently. In accordance to deter, there’s a lot of challenge faced, for example the difficulties of finding the source of fire as early as possible, that let the fire continue to spread easily. This research attempts to examine how to anticipate the occurrence of a fire that requires a device that works automatically and can detect early and minimize the possibility of widespread fire. Therefore, a tool was designed to prevent all losses cause by fire. One of them is by utilizing early warning system. Device are built using the HC-12 module as the sender and receiver of serial data through the air media. As the test result, it was known that HC-12 module can transmit and receive data in distance reaching 200 – 1300 m. .Keyword : HC-12 Transceiver Module, Arduino Pro Mini, Temperature Sensor LM35

Abstract

Nowadays the realibility level of a distribution system is essential thing to use to ensure the continuity of power supply to the consumer. That, realized that the importance of the distribution system that is able to be achieved by Failure Modes And Effects Analysis (FMEA). This research is made a reliability evolution os distribution network 20KV for a provider.it has purpose to increase the system reliability of distribution network uses the index of SAIDI , SAIFI and CAIDI in providing electricity in Padang Area, The results of the calculation which have been got is going to be compared with PLN Standard. The result of SAIFI and SAIDI in Marapalam feeder has fulfilled PLN standard cause only produce small interference. Finally, the SAIFI Value and SAIDI Value are still standard Value and reliable categories Marapalam Feeder. Keywords:CAIDI, FMEA, Reliability index,SAIFI, SAIDI.

Abstract

In the case of children with autism, the role of parents is the most important thing, where parents can make early detection of the possibility of children autism by observing children's behavior in daily life. Surely it is facilitated by the application of expert systems to detect children autism. The application of expert systems is required by parents as a first step to monitor the development of the child without having to meet with experts directly, so parents can easily find out whether their children are autism detected or not.This Expert System Application is implemented into a web-based application with PHP programming language and MySQL database. By using expert knowledge and using certainty factor method in the calculation, then the final result from this Expert System Application is the conclusion of being at risk of autism, possibly autism or not risk of autism in children. In the final result, the value of expert beliefs from the calculation is obtained from the Certainty Factor Method. The result of validating testing is 100% on the test system functionality, and 100% on testing expert system with certainty factor method.Keywords : Application, autism, certainty factor, detection, expert system

Abstract

Renewable energy is the solution of electricity generation to replace conventional electricity generation that used to use fossil fuels which will eventually run out. Solar energy or solar energy can be used to generate electricity through solar panel media, but the energy that is converted to produce electricity is energy from solar light instead of heat energy produced by the sun. Thermal energy from the sun is a problem for solar panels because it can reduce the efficient power produced by solar panels. Then the solution to overcome that is designed for watering the surface of the solar panel to increase the effectiveness of the power generated by controlling the panel using Arduino with LM35 sensors mounted on five points of the solar panel. With the results found the average increase in power on December 24 by 20% if the panel is given an automatic cooling system. Key word: Solar panels, panel cooling systems, Arduino.

Abstract

PT. Duta Palma Nusantara is a Palm Oil Plantation Company in Kuantan Singingi Regency, has an office to handle information activities ranging from receiving and sending data on palm production using the internet network. The background of this research is uneven Bandwidth allocation on each computer and results in one user can access the internet faster while other users are slower than other users. Therefore, the Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) Method is used using the Queue Tree feature, so that users get evenly distributed Nandwidth. Testing using Microtic Devices, Winbox Software as a configuration. The test results showed that the quality of network bandwidth management using the Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) method on the Queue Tree feature gave better results than without using the PCQ Method because bandwidth was divided according to the rules applied and no Client gets Over Bandwidth as specified. Abstract

The need for rapid technological development, especially in the field of education. Many aspects are worth considering in the world of education, one of which is prediction, which is considered capable of overcoming one of the problems in the world of education, namely fluctuations in new students. This fluctuation will be related to school policies later. The Single Exponential Smoothing method is used to determine predictions of student acceptance in the next academic year period. Exponential Smoothing method is a pretty good forecasting method for long and medium term forecasting. This method is also able to handle students' irregular fluctuations. The data to be processed is the number of student admissions for the period 1999/2000 to 2003/2004 The results obtained from this study are the results of the analysis of the Single Exponential Method to obtain information about the prediction of new student admissions and the level of accuracy with MAPE for the next school year for 4 years. Forecasting results can be influenced by several factors such as construction of facilities and others. Forecasting results using the Single Exponential Smoothing Method can predict the number of new students in the Academic Year 2003/2004 is 117 people, whereas the number of students accepted reach 125 people. It means that MAPE of forecasting with Exponential Smoothing Method can reach 6.4%. This is the smallest percentage of error (MAPE) in this research. The smallest number of students accepted in the Academic Year 2000/2001, where the number of students accepted was 47 people and students were predicted as many as 26 people. Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Ujungbatu is one of the school that located in Rokan Hulu Regency. The school’s number of registrations increased each year. To help student candidate to apply and the selection committees to manage registration data, an information system named Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Siswa Baru Berbasis Web di SMK Negeri 1 Ujungbatu, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu-Provinsi Riau. Programming language that used for this information system are PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), My Structured Query Language (MySQL). The method that used in this information system is Waterfall. Waterfall is a systematic and sequential developing model that link one phase to another in sequence. This research produced an app that could provide ease in obtaining information and registering so that the new students admission process became more effective and efficient.Keywords: Information System, New Student Admission, Waterfall Method.

Abstract

Video conferencing is a long-distance interactive communication service that can bring together two or more people using broadband internet services. This service can send and receive data in the form of audio and video simultaneously or two-way transmission techniques. Data in the form of audio and video, which have a large enough bandwidth, require a network capable of meeting bandwidth requirements. Observations were made for 12 days in the Pekanbaru area, Panam. The results of this study have concluded that the superior throughput is Telkomsel with a data size of 1003429.76 ms. This is evidenced by the quality offered and the clarity of the image during the video conference. Keywords: H.264 Codec, LTE, Multipoint, QOS, Video Conference.

Abstract

Pome is one of liquid waste from palm oil mill. There’s quite big amount of this waste which can be converted to a biogas and used as an electrical energy source. In this research, we conduct a survey to ultilization POME use as a raw material for biogas power plant at pt ramajaya pramukti which is located in kampar regency riau province. pt ramajaya pramukti is a palm oil mill that has a palm oil production capacity of 60 ton / hour. Type of data used in this analysis is a secondary data which includes FFB data and the discahrge of waste produced by the factory itself. In january 2017 PT.Ramajaya Pramukti process 20,722.799 ton of FFB and produce 11,056 m3 of pome. The lowest ffb processing is occured in june 12,363.807 ton which produce 7,079 m3 of pome. This result of pome utilization potential in pt ramajaya promukti is used as a raw material for biogas power plant which generate electricity as big as 4.09 mwh in January 2017 and 2.12 mwh in june 2017..
