Abstract

In this era, many schools in Indonesia recognize the importance of Arabic language, particularly Nahwu science. "Indusan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo" school is one of the schools that offers Arabic language lessons to all its students, where Nahwu science is included in the curriculum for 8th-grade students. The "Mumtaz" book is used as a textbook to teach Nahwu science to 8th-grade students at "Indusan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo" school. Based on this background, the problems discussed in this study are how the "Mumtaz" book is used as a textbook to teach Nahwu science at "Indusan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo" school, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the "Mumtaz" book as a textbook for teaching Nahwu science at "Indusan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo" school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through field study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources are primary data from participants: two teachers and 8th-grade students at "Indusan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo" school. In general, the "Mumtaz" book is considered effective in facilitating students' understanding of Nahwu science through engaging teaching methods. However, to overcome the existing shortcomings, additional contextual explanations and practical examples are needed in this book. This study concludes that although the "Mumtaz" book has many advantages, further improvements are still needed to help students connect theory with practice more effectively. This study explores the use of the "Mumtaz" textbook in teaching Nahwu at "Indusan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo" school, along with its advantages and disadvantages. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research gathers data through observation, interviews, and documentation from two teachers and 8th-grade students. The findings indicate that the "Mumtaz" textbook is effective in enhancing students' understanding of Nahwu through engaging methods. However, additional contextual explanations and practical examples are necessary to address its shortcomings. While the textbook has numerous benefits, further refinement is required to facilitate a more effective connection between theory and practice for students.

Abstract

: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Mind Mapping Method on the Nahwu Learning Motivation of Class X Students of Madrasah Aliyah Ghozaliyah Jogoroto Jombang. The research method used is quantitative research and the design used is pre-experimental using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this research are: 1) Student learning motivation before applying the Mind Mapping method to class X Madarasah Aliyah Jogoroto Jombang students, at this stage it was tested on class that can be seen in the experimental class during the pretest or before being given the mean value of 59.30, median value of 59.50, mode value of 60, standard deviation value of 9.609, minimum value of 40, maximum value of 80. In student learning motivation before implementation, student learning motivation still seemed lacking. 2) Students' learning motivation after applying the Mind Mapping method can be seen in the experimental class during the posttest or after being given the application. The mean value is 65.55, the median value is 63.00, the mode value is 63, the standard deviation value is 11.180, the minimum value is 44, the maximum value is 96. Based on the explanation above, students' learning motivation after applying the Mind Mapping method got very good results. 3) The influence of the mind mapping method on student learning motivation is proven by the acquisition of a pretest questionnaire significance value of . It can be seen that the t-count is more than the t-table, namely, 27,600 > 2.144787 with a df of 19. And the significance is .000 < 0.05 while one posttest sample test can be seen that the t-count is more than the t-table, namely, 26,220 > 2.144787 with df 19. And the significance is .000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that the Mind Mapping method has an influence on students' learning motivation in the Nahwu subject I'rab material in class X at Madrasah Aliyah Ghozaliyah Jogoroto Jombang.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of using the contextual learning model on students' understanding and learning independence at UPTD SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan in Pancasila education. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consisted of all 21 students in class 5A. The instruments used in this study were questions and questionnaires. The analysis tests used were validity tests to determine the validity of the instrument data, reliability tests to determine the consistency level of the valid instruments, normality tests to determine whether the distribution of the instrument data was normal or not, and paired sample t-tests to determine the difference in the mean of the data of two variables from two samples using the SPSS application. This can be proven in the use of the contextual learning model through the use of kartopan media in Pancasila education, which has a significant effect on students' understanding and learning independence based on the analysis results of a sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to create a QuizWhizzer-based assessment tool in Arabic for the Ash-Shihhah subject, intended for eleventh-grade pupils at MA Unggulan K. H. Abd. Wahab Hasbulloh. The ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment phases, is the framework used for the creation of this tool. The media is designed to align with student needs, curriculum requirements, and the characteristics of the learning material. The implementation was carried out in the classroom through interactive evaluation activities presented in the form of an educational game. The results show that QuizWhizzer successfully increased students’ motivation and engagement, and significantly improved their learning outcomes. This improvement is evidenced by an N-Gain Score of 0.7838, categorized as high, and an N-Gain percentage of 78.38%, categorized as effective. Additionally, the media provides a more meaningful learning experience by encouraging active participation, independent work, and healthy competition among students. Therefore, QuizWhizzer is effective as an interactive evaluation tool in Arabic language learning, particularly for the Ash-Shihhah material.
