Abstract

The development of science and technology (IPTEK) which is very massive has a very broad influence on all aspects of human life. One of them is education and teaching that can facilitate the exchange of information so that it is not bound by space and time. This is of course very useful, especially for students, groups who always need information as reference material for their daily assignments. Therefore, students really need information literacy skills, to support the lectures they follow. There are several models used to measure a person's literacy ability, one of which is the Empowering 8 model, where this model was produced from a workshop conducted in Sri Lanka in 2004. The purpose of this study was to analyze the digital literacy competence of students of the geography education study program, FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, digital digital literacy students of geography education FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University are at a good or mastered level. Where from the respondents' answers, 17% were very dominant, 71% controlled, 11% did not master, and 1% did not master. Respondents who are very mastering, not mastering, and very not mastering are in the low category, respondents who are mastering are in the high category.

Abstract

Farmer regeneration is one of the problems in the agricultural sector, this is because most farmers are classified as old and few young people are interested in continuing to work in the agricultural sector. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the low regeneration of rice farmers. The study was conducted in Mandastana District, Barito Kuala Regency, Indonesia. The subjects of this study were children of farmer group members in Mandastana District with an age range of 16-35 years. The sample taken was 365 people using the proportionated random sampling technique. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method. Data collection used in this study was observation, questionnaires (semi-closed) and documentation. The analysis used in this study was factor analysis or Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The results of the study showed that the first factor or the most dominant factor causing the low regeneration of farmers was the level of education, information from outside and peers, with correlation values of 0.931, 0.796 and 0.705. The second factor that causes low regeneration of rice farmers is the area of land ownership, work experience in the agricultural sector, family income from the agricultural sector, family income from the agricultural sector and family socialization, with correlation values of 0.689, 0.730, 0.859 and 0.833. The third factor that causes low regeneration of rice farmers is wages outside the agricultural sector, with a correlation value of 0.934.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of 3D-AIR media in enhancing students' geography learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 8 Banjarmasin. This type of research uses an experimental design with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample for this study consisted of students in class X.5 (experimental) and X.6 (control) in the 2024/2025 academic year. The experimental class received treatment with 3D-AIR media, while the control class did not use any learning media. The material taught in this study was the lithosphere. The data collection technique used a multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test, which showed that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.861 > 0.05 indicates that there is no increase in geography learning outcomes through 3D-AIR media in class X students at SMA Negeri 8 Banjarmasin. This is due to various learning component factors, including 3D-AIR media and supporting facilities used during classroom learning. 3D-AIR media still has shortcomings, namely that it is only compatible with Android-based devices. However, some students use iOS and HarmonyOS-based devices, which can hinder their access to lithosphere materials during learning. Furthermore, Wi-Fi network support in the school environment remains suboptimal, limiting the use of 3D-AIR media in learning. Therefore, research findings on supporting facilities for the application of 3D-AIR media in lithosphere learning are the main focus, to optimize student activities and the quality of geography learning in the technology era.

Abstract

One of the challenges in using student worksheets lies in their limited visual appeal, minimal interactivity, unclear instructions, and lack of technological integration, all of which fail to promote higher-order thinking skills and consequently reduce the effectiveness of learning and its relevance to contemporary students’ needs. This study aims to develop electronic student worksheets (e-student worksheets) based on the Assemblr Edu QR code that are valid and practical for students. This research employs the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The selection of the Research and Development (R&D) method was based on the need to design, validate, and produce a feasible digital learning product that aligns with the demands of technological innovation in the geography learning process. The study involved 184 Grade X students of SMAN 8 Banjarmasin, with data collected through observations and questionnaires. The research instruments included validation and product-effectiveness sheets. Validation was conducted by experts in materials, language, and media/learning technology, while teachers and students implemented effectiveness testing. The developed QR Code–based Assemblr Edu LKPD obtained material validation of 90.90% (very feasible), language validation of 95% (very feasible), and media/technology validation of 95.83% (very feasible). Product effectiveness reached 95.29% from teachers (very feasible) and 78.02% from students (feasible). These results indicate that the QR Code–based Assemblr Edu LKPD is highly appropriate for use in learning, particularly in geography instruction.
