Abstract

The implementation of a digital book inventory system in school libraries plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of collection management. Traditional manual systems often result in challenges such as data redundancy, misplaced records, delayed reporting, and a higher risk of human error, all of which can disrupt library operations and hinder effective information access. In response to these challenges, this study was conducted to design and develop a web-based book inventory management system tailored specifically for school library needs. The system aims to automate core processes including book cataloging, borrowing and returning transactions, and inventory reporting. The development methodology adopted is the Waterfall model, a structured approach that includes sequential stages: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. To support detailed system modeling, Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools were utilized, ensuring a comprehensive blueprint of system functionalities and data flow. The findings of the study indicate that the implementation of the system significantly reduces administrative workload, improves the accuracy of inventory records, and provides real-time data access to library administrators. Moreover, the system enhances the overall user experience by offering a more organized, accessible, and transparent library service. This innovation serves as a foundation for future enhancements such as mobile access or integration with online academic platforms.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze farmers' perceptions of the implementation of organic rice development, identify factors that influence farmers' perceptions of the implementation of organic rice development in Bantaeng Regency, and analyze factors that influence farmers' perceptions of the implementation of organic rice farming in Bantaeng Regency. This research starts from October to November 2024 using quantitative methods. The data collection method uses the library or literature study method, observation, questionnaires and in-depth documentation using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability, while the data analysis method uses a Likert scale and multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression tests show that the level of farmers' perception of the implementation of organic rice development in Bantaeng Regency is relatively high, with an aggregate average of 69.60%. Meanwhile, the factors that influence farmers' perceptions of the implementation of organic rice development in Bantaeng Regency are innovation characteristics.

Abstract

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015, 70% of cardiac deaths were caused by coronary heart disease (CHD). Based on WHO data in 2017, 17.5 million deaths were recorded, equivalent to 30% of the total deaths in the world caused by coronary heart disease. Coronary heart disease is a disorder of heart function caused by plaque that accumulates in arterial blood vessels so that it interferes with the supply of oxygen to the heart tissue. This causes reduced blood flow to the heart muscle and oxygen deficiency occurs. In more serious circumstances, it can result in a heart attack. Risk factors for coronary heart disease include age, gender, hypertension, cholesterol, heredity, diabetes mellitus, obesity, dyslipidemia, smoking and lack of physical activity. If a person's chances of suffering from coronary heart disease can be predicted early based on the existing risk factors, then the mortality rate of coronary heart disease can be suppressed. The objective of this study is to build a model that can predict the possibility of a patient suffering from coronary heart disease. The study used the Fuzzy Logistic Regression model. This model was used to maximize prediction results in which data size was limited. The least square method was used to estimate the value of the parameter. We obtained from National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta. Evaluation with the Mean Degree of Membership method showed that the model built was feasible and good enough to predict coronary heart disease. By using the confusion matrix, the accuracy of the prediction model is 80.00%, with a specificity of 42.85% and a sensitivity of 100%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the participation of rice farmers in the rice insurance program in the Binamu district of Jeneponto Regency. The data sources for this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique used in this research is the purposive sampling method, which is choosing a sample of farmers who actively participate in the rice farming insurance program. The number of farmers who are active in the program is 60 farmers and purposively all farmers are used as respondents. The data analysis method is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that the factors that significantly influence rice farmers' participation in the rice cultivation insurance program are land area, length of formal education, rice cultivation experience, and risk of losing rice cultivation. The wider the land ownership of rice, the higher the formal education level and the longer the rice cultivation experience, the less farmers will participate in the rice insurance program. The higher the risk of rice production, the higher the risk of rice cultivation. Farmers' participation in rice insurance programs has increased. Production risk is the most important factor that encourages farmers' high participation in the rice insurance system.
