Abstract

The main problem faced by humans in living life is the existence of various kinds of life needs. Therefore, to meet the needs of human life, income is needed. Nowadays, the father's living needs are met as the head of the household who works, but in some situations many families whose needs are not met if they only rely on the father's income. This is what makes women enter the world of work, either working independently or working with other people. This research aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of capital, location, variations in types of merchandise, and people's purchasing power on the income of women traders in the Badung market and analyze the role of people's purchasing power in moderating the influence of types of merchandise on income. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample for this research consisted of 92 female trader respondents in the Badung market. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and moderated regression analysis. The research results show that capital, location, variations in types of merchandise and people's purchasing power simultaneously influence the income of women traders in the Badung market. Capital and type of merchandise partially have a positive and significant effect on the income of female traders at Badung Market. Location and people's purchasing power partially have a negative and significant effect on the income of women traders at Badung Market. And people's purchasing power is a moderating variable that strengthens the influence of the type of merchandise on the income of women traders in the Badung Keyword : lorem, ipsum, dolor

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in economic development can reduce inequality in the uneven development process. This research aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of capital variables, entrepreneurial attitudes, and working hours on income, and analyze the role of purchasing power in moderating the influence of capital on coffee shop income in Tabanan District. The number of samples was taken using the saturated sampling method. The data analysis technique used is moderated regression analysis. The results of the research concluded that simultaneously capital, working hours, entrepreneurial behavior and purchasing power have a significant influence on the income of coffee shops in Tabanan District. Partially, capital, working hours, entrepreneurial behavior and purchasing power each have a significant positive influence on the income of coffee shops in Tabanan District. Purchasing power is able to moderate the influence of capital on coffee shop income in Tabanan District to become stronger. This means that purchasing power is able to strengthen the influence of capital on coffee shop income in Tabanan District. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the joint effects of economic growth, investment, technology and minimum wage on employment opportunities in districts/cities in Bali; (2) Analysis of partial effects of economic growth, investment, technology and minimum wage on employment opportunities in districts/cities in Bali. (3) Analyze the order of impact of economic growth, investment, technology and minimum wage on employment opportunities in districts/cities of Bali. This study is an associative quantitative study using panel data of up to 72 observations. Data sources for this study are secondary data from the Bali Provincial Central Bureau of Statistics and primary data obtained from informants through in-depth interviews. The collected data were then analyzed using several linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the analysis results, it is shown that (1) economic growth, investment, technology and minimum wage simultaneously have a great impact on employment opportunities in provinces/cities in Bali. (2) Economic growth and minimum wages can have a significant positive impact on employment opportunities in provinces/cities of Bali Province. Investments and technology may not affect employment opportunities in districts and cities in Bali. (3) Minimum wage has the greatest impact, followed by economic growth, investment and technology

Abstract

The aims of this study were to analyze the effect of family income, education, desired number of children and preference on the sex of the child on the duration of contraceptive use by women in the formal sector; analyzing the effect of family income, education, desired number of children, preference on the sex of the child, and duration of contraceptive use on the fertility of women workers in the formal sector; analyzing the role of duration of contraceptive use in mediating the effect of family income, education, the number of children desired, and preference on the sex of the child on the fertility of formal sector women workers. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data. Data collection used the method of observation, structured interviews and in-depth interviews with 60 respondents. The results showed the family income and education of the respondents had a positive and significant effect. The number of children desired and preference for the sex of the child have a negative and significant effect on the length of use of contraceptives; the number of children desired and preference on the sex of the child has a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan istri, kualitas pelayanan petugas KB, persepsi tentang efek samping, dukungan suami terhadap lama pemakaian alat kontrasepsi dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan istri, kualitas pelayanan petugas KB dan persepsi efek samping secara tidak langsung pemakaian kontrasepsi melalui dukungan suami pada PUS yang menikah dini di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. Responden sebanyak 110 yang menikah di bawah umur 20 tahun. Quota Sampling, Accidental Sampling, dan Snowball Sampling merupakan metode penentuan sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pendidikan istri dan kualitas pelayanan petugas KB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap dukungan suami. Persepsi tentang efek samping berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap dukungan suami. Kualitas pelayanan petugas KB dan persepsi tentang efek samping berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap lama pemakaian kontrasepsi. Pendidikan istri dan dukungan suami berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap lama pemakaian alat kontrasepsi. Dukungan suami tidak memediasi pengaruh pendidikan istri, kualitas pelayanan petugas KB dan persepsi tentang efek samping terhadap lama pemakaian alat kontrasepsi di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan.

Abstract

AbstrakPeningkatan usia harapan hidup di Indonesia menyebabkan bertambahnya jumlah lansia yang memerlukan intervensi terintegrasi pada aspek kesehatan dan ekonomi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan praktik gizi seimbang, (2) meningkatkan pemahaman lansia tentang kesehatan mental dan pengelolaan stres, serta (3) mendorong kemandirian ekonomi lansia. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Mei 2025 di Desa Antiga Kelod, Kecamatan Manggis, Kabupaten Karangasem dengan melibatkan 45 lansia, kader Posyandu Lansia, BKL, dan pemerintah desa. Metode pemberdayaan menggunakan ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, demonstrasi senam lansia, serta pemeriksaan kesehatan oleh tenaga medis. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pengukuran pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik sebelum–sesudah kegiatan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman gizi dan kesehatan yang signifikan; sebelum kegiatan 53% peserta tidak memahami materi, setelah KIE 89% menjadi paham–sangat paham. Sebanyak 95,5% peserta mampu mempraktikkan senam ringan untuk pengelolaan stres, dan >80% menyatakan termotivasi mengikuti aktivitas ekonomi produktif berbasis rumah tangga. Program KIE terbukti efektif meningkatkan kapasitas lansia pada aspek gizi, kesehatan mental, dan kemandirian ekonomi. Kata kunci: gizi; kesehatan; lansia; pemberdayaan ekonomi; stres. Abstract The increase in life expectancy in Indonesia has led to a growing elderly population that requires integrated interventions in health and economic aspects. This community service program aimed to: (1) improve knowledge and practices of balanced nutrition, (2) enhance understanding of mental health and stress management, and (3) encourage economic independence among the elderly. The activity was conducted in May 2025 at Antiga Kelod Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency, involving 45 elderly participants, Posyandu Lansia cadres, BKL, and village authorities. Empowerment methods included interactive lectures, group discussions, elderly exercise demonstrations, and health screenings by medical personnel. Evaluation was carried out through pre–post measurement of participants’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices using descriptive analysis. The results showed a significant improvement in nutrition and health understanding; prior to the program, 53% of participants did not understand the materials, while after the CIE session 89% became understand to highly understand. As many as 95.5% of participants were able to practice light exercise for stress management, and more than 80% expressed motivation to engage in home-based productive economic activities. The CIE program proved effective in strengthening elderly capacity in nutrition, mental health, and economic empowerment. Keywords: economic empowerment; elderly; health; nutrition; stress.

Abstract

Tourism sectors have great potentials in increasing regional income. The program from the government to increase the number of tourisms is to prioritize tourism development, one of which is tourism on Lombok Island. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the government role in the development of community-based tourism in Lombok, especially the Mandalika Special Economic Zone in Central Lombok Regency. The analysis technique used in this study is to use convinience sampling techniques that are rarely used in previous tourism research in Lombok. The study contended that government role in the development of community-based tourism includes planning, development of main facilities, tourism expenditure policies, making and enforcing regulations. It also underlined that the driving factors in economic growth required participation of local communities. The inhibiting factors of local communities are educational background, employment, and gender.
