Abstract

Abstract: During development process, incorporation of urban aspects becomes important thing, on the other side it has been recognized that environmental damage and effects global warming are serious threat; this is also exacerbated by the level of density, as well as high urban population activities. Thus, the different application methods, techniques and assessment instruments for sustainable cities needs to be realized, this aims to find out how cities can become more sustainable in future. The method applied to solve problem is to use Key performance indicators (KPIs) for assessing aspects urban sustainability, especially in terms of energy resilience and infrastructure. This research was conducted using the method of selecting several points from KPIs related to energy resilience and infrastructure to measure sustainability performance at urban level using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach. The results are then applied to the sustainable urban planning process. This model was then tested and applied in a case study based on Tarumajaya sub-district. Until finally, this research can provide knowledge about strategies for implementing KPIs to improve city sustainability and can be developed by applying indicators into urban planning to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.Abstrak: Selama proses pembangunan, penggabungan dari aspek-aspek perkotaan menjadi hal yang penting, disisi lain telah diketahui bahwa kerusakan lingkungan dan efek pemanasan global menjadi ancaman serius; hal ini juga diperparah dengan tingkat kepadatan, serta aktifitas penduduk kota yang tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract. The decline in river quality is due to the role of 60%-70% of domestic waste, 30% of industrial waste, and 10% of agricultural and livestock waste that pollutes rivers. In addition, because there are settlements on the banks of the river, if it is not handled, the quality of the rivers in Jakarta will certainly be bad. One way of treating wastewater is Constructed Wetlands, the goal is to improve water quality and reduce the harmful effects of waste, as well as water conservation efforts. Constructed Wetlands are usually applied to settlements that have yards, while settlements in Jakarta currently only have narrow yards there are no yards left. From this aspect, the post-normalization riverbank arrangement will be carried out using the Constructed Wetlands approach. The research located at the Kampung Baru,  Cakung,River, East of Jakarta.  To find out the results of this application, the method used is descriptive in knowing the conditions of settlements, and then data collection will be carried out from literature reviews and interviews. Furthermore, an analysis is carried out with basic mathematical calculations to answer the space requirements in the application of Constructed Wetlands so that it will produce a spatial pattern model for settlements.

Abstract

The Comfort against the influence of air temperature, humidity, indoor lighting, circulation and acoustics is part of the effort to improve the quality of the function of the room. If the room is comfortable, the activities that take place in it are optimal. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. The results in this study were obtained that the average temperature and humidity in South Tangerang City exceeded the comfort threshold of 22.8-25.8 oC, the emission value per square meter was 349.9 Lux, the noise level of the research object from the average measurement results. is 57 dB. It was concluded that the Lux number is very close to ideal, so it is stated that the room lighting in the research object meets the requirements, while the noise level requires a noise damper or barrier to be able to reduce noise so that the room is comfortable to use.Comfort against the influence of air temperature, humidity, indoor lighting, circulation and acoustics is part of the effort to improve the quality of the function of the room. Abstract

Community Service activities carried out by the UKI Faculty of Engineering Architecture Study Program raised the theme Green Action 28 Socialization and Training on the Utilization of Fabric Waste as Interior Decoration Ornaments for Residential Homes on Harapan Island. This activity is a continuation of the previous Community Service Activities which aim to educate the public about the design and creation of mini gardens that can be used as additional open green spaces in residential homes. The method is by holding socialization and workshops that present resource persons who are experts in their fields so that participants receive education on how to design and make Fabric Waste Into Residential Interior Decoration Ornaments so that participants can independently do it in their homes and pass it on to neighbors and their families who have never participated in outreach and training. The process is that the participants practice directly with patchwork waste brought by each participant which can be created so that it becomes an element of interior decoration in a residence so that it is more aesthetic. The training also held a question and answer session for the participants. Keywords: Green Action, Patchwork, Harapan Island
