Abstract

An increase of the number of vehicles which is not followed by the number of roads can lead to the increase of congestion, especially in big cities. Regulation of law no 22 Year 2009 explains that there are seven types of vehicles prioritized on the road. This research aims to build a Smart Traffic Light as a solution with the goal of making the prioritized vehicle journey smooth when crossing the road with Smart Traffic Light. The proposed system is "Smart Traffic Light on IoT and mBaaS (Mobile Backend As a Service) using High Priority Vehicles Method". The Smart Traffic Light has three important parts, including: (1) Smart Traffic Application; (2) Smart Traffic Controller; and (3) mBaaS. Prioritized vehicle drivers cross the road using the Smart Traffic Application when they are in an emergency situation. Smart Traffic Application and Smart Traffic Controller communicate using mBaaS. Smart Traffic Application has a vehicle track search facility as well as identification of traffic light location. A few meters before crossing, Smart Traffic Application will send the location to mBaaS and continue to be read by Smart Traffic Controller using internet. If it meets the criteria of High Priority Vehicle, then Traffic Light will be changed to green in the same path. The results show that when testing the data rate from Smart Traffic Application to Smart Traffic Controller, it takes no later than 8.15 seconds and 1.2 seconds (the fastest) with the average data transmission time of 3.39 seconds. Smart Traffic Light is able to identify the direction of the vehicle before passing through the Smart Traffic Application.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan, mengetahui kelayakan, dan mengetahui keefektifan implementasi e-learning dengan pendekatan teori belajar kogntif multimedia pembelajaran di jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah RD, yang meliputi empat tahap, yaitu: planning, design, development, dan summative evaluation. Hasil pengembangan produk e-learning berupa manajemen pembelajaran online dengan software aplikasi moodle versi 2.4 dengan alamat alamat http://etkj.web.id. Kelayakan produk e-learning pada aspek media mendapatkan nilai 3.88 (kategori baik), pada aspek materi mendapatkan nilai 3.88 (kategori baik), dan aspek respon siswa mendapatkan nilai 3.64 (kategori baik). E-learning dengan pendekatan teori kognitif multimedia pembelajaran efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: e-learning, kognitif multimedia pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan pengembangan produk media pembelajaran e-book interaktif TIK yang layak pada peserta didik kelas X SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, dan (2) mengetahui efektifitas produk media pembelajaran e-book interaktif TIK terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMK N 2 Yogyakarta.Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Alessi Trollip. Prosedur pengembangan terdiri dari dari tiga fase, yaitu perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar validasi produk untuk ahli media, lembar validasi produk untuk ahli materi, kuisioner untuk pengguna, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran e-book interaktif TIK dinilai sangat baik yang diperoleh melalui uji alpha dan uji beta, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar peserta didik. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran e-book interaktif TIK lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran TIK biasa. Rerata N-gain antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa nilai nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dan berbeda secara signifikan.Kata kunci: TIK, e-book, interaktif DEVELOPING INTERACTIVE E-BOOK ON INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) LESSON FOR  GRADE OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis study aimed to: (1) describe the development of instructional media products based on appropriate ICT interactive e-book on students for  grade of SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, and (2) to know the effectiveness of ICT interactive e-book based learning e-book products on participants' learning outcomes for 10th grade of SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. This development research refers to the steps developed by Alessi Trollip. The development procedure consisted of three phases, namely planning, design, and development. Data collection was performed using product validation sheets for media experts, product validation sheets for material experts, questionnaires for users, and learning result tests. The data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The result of the research showed that ICT interactive e-book learning media was very good which was proved through alpha test and beta test, so it was suitable to be used as a learning resource for learners. The effectiveness test showed that the use of interactive ICT e-book learning media was more effective than regular ICT learning. The mean N-gain between the experimental class and the control class indicated that the value of the experiment class grade was higher than the control class and differed significantly.Keywords: ICT, e-book, interactive

Abstract

This Paper addresses Differential Quadriphase Shift Keying (DQPSK) modulation implemented on SDR platform for the development of digital data  communications based on Software-Defined Radio (SDR). DQPSK modulation performance perceived at Packet Error Rate (PER) is evaluated in terms of Eb/No or S/N ratio, carrier frequency, bit rate, gain, roll-off factor of root Nyquist filter or root raised cosine filter, and payload size from delivered data. Based on these results, the smallest PER could be obtained by setting Eb/No value greater than 20 dB, carrier frequency of at least 0,3 MHz, optimum bit rate of 200 kbps, optimum range payload size of 2000 up to 4000 bytes, and roll-off factor of Nyquist or root-raised cosine filter of 0.4.

Abstract

E-learning is one of the media in the current learning process, but many facts in the field show that the process of using it is not optimal. Many factors affect one of them, from the user's difficulty to operate it. This research aims to identify the factors that influence the use of the e-learning portal at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with a teacher and student as respondents. This research uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post-facto approach. The primary data source comes from sharing an online questionnaire (google form) which contains 30 questions using a Likert scale of 5 as an alternative answer. The research subjects were teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with 69 teachers. The results showed that the use of e-learning portals by teachers and students is (1) effect by the e-learning self-efficacy factor on the e-learning portal is still not optimally successful; (2) Effect by complexity factor is still not optimally successful and (3) Effect from motivation factor is getting optimal results.

Abstract

Learning activities in schools located in disadvantaged areas (3T) can be said to be lagging when compared to schools in developed areas in Indonesia in terms of learning. Learning media that have not been developed at all and the use of ICT devices that have not been maximized in learning activities are one of the factors that the school is lagging in terms of learning. Therefore, this study aims to: (1) Produce interactive e-module teaching materials as programming learning media for class X TKJ SMK 1 Unaaha in the 3T area, (2) Determine the eligibility level of interactive E-Module for students in class X TKJ at SMKN 1 Unaaha. This study uses the research method (RnD) with the development model using the ADDIE model which includes several stages: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. Data collection techniques used in this study were: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Questionnaire/questionnaire). The test subjects were conducted on 33 class X TKJ students. The results showed that: Tests conducted by material experts obtained an average value of 3.5 with a very good product category, if converted into a percentage, the product yield was 87% with a very feasible product category. Tests by media experts produce a value of 3.8 with a very good product category, and if converted into a percentage, the result is 95%. Testing by users or students obtained an average result of 3.6 with the Very Good product category.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which work motivation and teaching experience influence the performance of certified vocational high school teachers in Makassar. The approach used in this study was a quantitative survey involving 134 teachers from three public vocational high schools in Makassar as respondents. The findings indicate that work motivation has a significant impact on teacher performance and contributed to an improvement of 0.58 points in their performance. The majority of teachers fell into the very high (46%) and high (31%) work motivation categories, while most had moderate or medium (49.3%) and low (20%) teaching experiences. Although teacher certification is expected to improve performance, the data show that the performance of certified teachers remains in the medium (34.4%) and low (30.6%) categories. This study emphasizes the importance of enhancing work motivation and continuous professional development to improve the quality of vocational education in Indonesia.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta mengembangkan Learning Management System (LMS) untuk mempermudah pengelolaan proses pembelajaran dengan sumber daya server yang sudah terpenuhi sebagai upaya mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan digital. Akan tetapi, pada beberapa kasus seperti saat ujian berlangsung kerap mengalami overload. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai proses penerapan load balancing pada LMS agar lebih optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan diantaranya perumusan masalah, instalasi dan konfigurasi, uji coba, dan analisis hasil. Dalam proses pengembangan ini juga dilakukan pengujian dengan mengacu standar software quality model ISO 25010 pada aspek Usability dan Performance Efficiency. Hasil dari proses penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan LMS yang telah dilakukan optimalisasi kinerja penerapan High Availability menggunakan metode load balancing dengan algoritma Round Robin melalui software HAProxy sebagai penyeimbang beban, serta Galera Cluster pada database untuk meminimalisir kegagalan pada data. Hasil pengujian pada aspek Usability memastikan penerapan load balancing dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan sumber daya dan meminimalisir waktu respon serta kegagalan sistem. Aspek Performance Efficiency berdasarkan Quality of Service mendapatkan hasil bahwa seluruh pengguna sudah berhasil mengakses LMS tanpa error atau terjadi kesalahan pada periode tertentu.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and assess the feasibility of a web-based learning media using the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach. The method employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument in the form of assessments from subject material experts, media experts, and usability testing by the 11th-grade students in the Computer Network and Telecommunication Engineering program at SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu. The research results indicate that the developed web-based learning media is highly suitable as a supportive tool for the learning process, with material expert assessment at 93.3% in the "Very Feasible" category, media expert assessment at 86% in the "Very Feasible" category, and student usability assessment at 85.4% in the "Very Feasible" category. The learning media also succeeded in increasing students enthusiasm for participating in the learning process.
